The radiology technician was very skilled and very kind, and she went above and beyond to try to get me in for another test that I needed. I couldn't get that scheduled, but that was not her fault. I took one star off because there was nobody at the front to direct me to the department and there was a bit of a wait. That said, I was a walk-in, and it was near the holiday. I felt that my care was very good, and I am relieved to finally know why my leg was hurting so much. Thank you Lovelace Westside!

Everyone there was wonderful. They were all very friendly. I definitely have kudos for Lucas in recovery. He checked to see if I wanted somthing to drink, and got it for me. He also asked me a while later if I was hungry, and got me something to eat. When I started walking, and started to feel sick and thought I was going to pass out, got me a chair, and an alcohol swab to stop my nausea. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Excellent and professional ER nurses and doctors working 24 / 7. Laboratory results were STAT. State of the art CT scans, echocardiogram and X-ray diagnostics were superb and performed by a highly qualified staff. Housekeeping worked hard and so did admitting. Thank you for saving my life.

My podiatrist send me to Lovelace Westside in an emergency removal of my big toe. The experience I received from intake to discharge was awesome they made me ifeel like I didn't have an operation. There are so many people to thank from ER to when I went to my private room which I appreciate because of nature of me being there. I'll name some names but if I don't mention some I'm sorry you were great too. Dr. Perea was great he realcares about you he doesn't just leave you hanging he really talks to you. Trent CT Scan awesome he visited me right after surgery before he went home only works on weekends. The girl who did my circulation test on my legs Ashley. Night nurses and techs were always very attentive as day nurses and techs. The dietician came to my room and asked questions on what I like to eat really listened and I got best food ever thank you. it makes a big difference in my healing. All in all the greatest experience ever in a hospital. That says a lot given they were extremely busy but still took the time to make me feel special. One special shout out to Lucy and Elizabeth techs. But everyone doctors, nurses, and techs all were great. Can't explain my gratitude

After attempting to go to Urgent Care, I was sent to Lovelace Westside Emergency. When I arrived, it took only minutes to be brought back for triage. I was placed in a room and they had an xray tech come to the room with a portable unit to take xrays. I was surprised, having recently been in another ER and being sent into multiple rooms for xray or other diagnostics. The tech was awesome! The nurse and Dr. attending me were knowledgeable and gave me the attention my injury warranted. They got me set up with meds to manage my injury and all of the procedures and results were available on myChart before I left. I was pleased to be able to have some relief from the pain in such a quick manner. My entire visit was less than 3 hours! I will request Lovelace from now on!

first thing first i have to say the staff here is amazing !! i brought my dad here back in September 2021 for a severe foot infection. when we first got there he could barely walk six feet without getting completely exhausted. they got him in the ER room right away and by the end of the night he was able to walk from the room to the bathroom with ease and they diagnosed him with diabetes within a few hours. even with being understaffed and limited space due to covid, the staff did everything they could to treat my dad properly. by the next day he had his surgery for his amputation and ended up staying for about 2 weeks. during that time the staff were so kind and lovely people to be around and i always felt safe knowing my dad was in their care. he had to return about a month and a half later for a revision operation and stayed for about a week and they all remembered us and treated us so kindly. my dad has a fear of hospitals and doctors but staying here helped him overcome that. he’s almost at full recovery from the amputation and i am so happy that this is the hospital we chose to go to. i later came in myself for an allergic reaction and they treated me within an hour i was on my way home. the staff still remembered me even though it was been months and asked for updates about my dad. i recommend this hospital for everyone i know that lives in the area because you will always get excellent care !!

I have not always had the best experiences with the Lovelace system, however, a week and a half ago, they came to my aid and did an incredible job taking care of me. I came to the emergency room bleeding severely and they took such good care of me. All of the staff was kind and caring and throughout the 12 hours I was there I was nothing but well taken care of. I truly believe they saved my life. The doctor that was in attendance that day, went above and beyond to help get me the care I needed and I will be forever grateful. Thank you.

My husband Harold Price was admitted to the hospital on the 30th of July. He passed away on the 4th of August. The nursing staff was empathetic and kind. The doctors were informative, but at times misleading. I have only two criticisms. 1. It would be helpful if the plan of care was not changed so frequently--and along with this the patient and family should be made aware of these changes so that you are not waiting for a procedure to take place--when in fact it had been changed. 2. When I came home on the 4th after a very difficult time, I went to read test results on my husband's my chart to find that the account had already been deactivated. I cannot tell you how angry I was about this. I was desperately looking for any information about his tests or notes that might help me understand what had happened. Unfortunately, I could not get access to this and now we are having to wait for probably two weeks before I can get his medical record.

Had a sleep test at Lovelace West side. The whole experience was excellent!!! Check in, Sue, the tech who monitored me, the comfortable bed. Best night sleep I've had in ages. Interesting considering all the "hook ups" on my body. I look forward to seeing the video and hearing the results.

I arrived about 30 min early & filled out paperwork. Got in @ a timely manner. Receptionist was nice & professional as was the staff that performed my procedure. I have been here for a few other procedures & have always had a pleasant experience, the facility is in my town so it is very convenient.

The ER experience was awesome,but the after care has been shoddy at best. Now one week after my fall I have spent a couple hours trying to get a referral to Neurosurgeries. Today I was referred to a supervisor who was unavailable but I was assured I would receive a callback. No call back. I am 64 yrs old and just had a bad fall and a subdermal hemotoma and no one is able to get me a critical follow up appt for my injury.

Last week, I had gone in for my first colonoscopy. These people treated me first-class all the way. From the first moment when I checked in to the moment that I walked out, every single person treated me with kindness and respect. I felt well-cared for the entire way. Top to bottom, this was a top-notch facility, and each person did their job very well. They continued to check on me throughout, and were all courteous to a "T" !!

A beautiful, calm, quiet and clean facility. I have never had to wait for any significant period of time for services. I was treated with dignity and it was very apparent that the staff cared about my wellbeing. It is also obvious that there is comradery amongst the staff. If you have to be sick or need to get your preventative testing, Lovelace Westside is a really good place to go.

Tried for 8 days to get a appointment for a very serious condition. Needless to say, I had to find another DR. They jumped on it right away and now I am being treated.

West side Lovelace hospital employees and professionals are excellent people. However, patient releasing time wasn’t accurate which slightly disappointed my wife. The causes look like admitting many patients and running with everyone. I recommend you to have sufficient time for better services and for best results!

Leaving at 419 am on July 30 2022. The doctor and nurse was really nice and caring. They made sure I was feeling better before I was discharged. I've been in pain all week. And this is the best I've felt. I live far away and have to take an Uber. And it is pretty costly but it is definitely worth coming back for. I appreciate everything they did for me. Went in for a echocardiogram and I was seen right away. Hardly any wait in the waiting room and the test was easy so in and out in a very speedy manner but had a very thorough technician and think my Dr. will be pleased with his report.

Went to the ER at 6am Labor Day with Covid symptoms. During this shift change they did blood work, nose swab, EKG, chest X-ray. I don’t know who to thank. Tested positive for Covid, was given a prescription and sent home by 845 am. BYW it’s been 2 days and feeling better already

The best, period. Polite staff, attentive to all my needs, AND THEY ALWAYS ANSWERED THE CALL BELL RIGHT AWAY! (Seriously, I thought it was considered a standard to ignore the call bell at most hospitals). The care was also superb and as I did have follow up concerns they were very helpful after I wasn't even a patient anymore. Seriously, I could write a novel on how badly the other hospitals rate in comparison.

I didn't know how small this hospital is! There are staff here that are knowledgeable, compassionate, and efficient. I came here from an appointment with my podiatrist since he lives in the area and it was more convenient for him to come perform surgery and visit me after he was finished at his clinic for the day. It can be scary being in the hospital for something serious, but my significant other could visit me for however long from 8 to 8. I had 2 very good Drs, PT, OT, respiratory therapy, and dietary staff were helpful and accommodating. I live way on the other side of town, so I would usually go to a hospital much closer to home.

I am a registered nurse with 45 years experience in a variety of hospital settings all over the country. Dr. Landon Brown, New Mexico Orthopedics, did my hip replacement on 9/9/21. I was discharged the same day and my recovery has gone amazingly well. I think Dr. Brown is one of the best surgeons I have ever met in all the places I have worked during my career. I am now pain free after years of pain. My care at Lovelace was exceptional from Holly and Norma in preop screening to Christine who prepared me for surgery (preop, day of surgery) to Pamela in the O.R. and June and Donna in the PACU. Seth, my nurse anesthetist, was excellent as well. The staff at the front entrance who collected specimens before surgery and everyone in admitting and the laboratory were professional and kind. Even a janitor offered to help me at one point. I cannot think of a single complaint that I can make regarding my experience. I will definitely tell friends and family to feel comfortable putting their care in the hands of the staff at Lovelace Westside.

I was in great amount of pain last night, on my upper abdomen so I had stopped at the ER . The got me in quickly and the nurses were so nice. The doctor was also very kind. They also had to call in a Doctor who lived in Dexter to give me an ultrasound . His name was Richard and he was such a caring kind man . I could tell that he really loved his job and he even told me himself ! I thank goodness for these types of people, people who try to help others fell better ! I truly felt like they all genuinely cared .I also delivered my son here 8 months ago and they were all so helpful and kind as well . I love this hospital .

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE ER ONLY: The ER is simply magnificent! Efficient, professional, courteous and expeditious. Quick check-in with fast triage. Staff focused on the problem from a through z. The attending physician was not some greenee fresh out of medical school, but well seasoned physician who acted quickly and decisively to resolve my ailment. I delivered here and had a great experience! The nurses and midwives were great! I felt that they were very good about knowing how I wanted my experience to go and did everything to help make that happen. If you are a part of the labor of love you get a steak and lobster dinner for you and your spouse after you deliver, and you also get a mommy massage. Overall I felt well taken care of and thought everyone was very friendly.

I had Gastric Sleeve surgery on 10/24/18 here. I was really impressed with the courtesy, professionalism and efficiency of the nursing and tech staff. I had to stay in the hospital for 2 nights and was treated with respect and dignity. My only complaint was it was virtually impossible to get any quality sleep because they kept coming in to get vitals and blood sugar readings, but that's to be expected, I guess. Overall, a very positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to be seen there again.

I was very very ill about 4-5 years ago and had to go to the emergency room several times, once I was quarantined even. They were all so very nice and treated me not only with respect, but dignity. The food is better than most places and they have very good staff. It is also clean and has a moist beautiful view so when you leave it almost uplifts you. I love this hospital emergency room. And the doctors are super handsome, just saying.

I was admitted here this last January, transferred by ambulance from Lovelace Downtown ER, with a severe staph infection in my hand. Considering it was at the height of flu season, I was lucky for the staff to find an available bed. The staff here was nothing short of amazing the entire four days I was in. All the nurses and techs were very responsive, courteous, and professional, and the attending physicians were very informative, keeping be informed on what was happening. I'm lucky to still have my hand function, and I thank everyone here for it.

Finding it hard to believe after reading through reviews that we're all talking about the same ER and hospital. I would say I have been to the ER about 5 times in the last 4 to 5 years and each time was seen very quickly. The staff was always very efficient, very kind. 3 or 4 of those times were for extreme knee pain. Medication was given promptly and xrays taken. Referred to an orthopedic surgeon and was seen within 3 days. Needed to total knee replacement and was scheduled in a prompt manner. Had the surgery right there in their hospital. Couldn't have recieved better care. The staff there was amazing...and so kind. Was there for 5 days and honestly could not find one thing to complain about. Light on was answered promptly. Pain medication was prompt. Didn't have much of an appetite but what I ate was very good. Staff very personable and friendly. Seen by a doctor or PA everyday. Before the surgery everything was explained to me thoroughly so I knew what to expect. PT was set up for me by them to begin on my return home...in home PT for 6 weeks. I would give this little hospital & ER 10 stars if I could.

My son had an appendectomy and I was very pleased with the care he was given. It's not a good feeling to hand your kid over to complete strangers in the middle of the night to be operated on but Dr. Holmes and the anesthesiologist (I wish I could remember his name!) couldn't have been nicer. They explained everything and I felt confident he was in good hands. The nurses in post-op were great and the nurses in the pediatric ward were so caring and attentive. I feel extremely grateful to all who cared for my son.

I was seen at the Sleep Clinic I saw Doctor Z. I cannot spell his name LOL. He was wonderful very nice so was his triage person , however the woman at the front desk - I forgot her name. It started with a K. She proceeded to tell me that she could not accept my medical insurance cards from AARP but instead needed to see my Medicare card and yet it was not correct because it still had my Social Security number on it and then if I didn't get this straightened out I was going to be billed of pocket eventually. So I paid my co-pay which I had to remind her that I owed. Today I called Medicare and they said that all I needed to show them was my AARP card and everything else would have been taken care of. This girl was not only rude but did not know anything that she was talking about .she needs to realize that if she's going to work with people she needs to leave her attitude at home and educate herself on what she needs to input into the computer.

I had been transferred from Soccorro emergency room to the Loveless emergency room. I had been diagnosed with MRSA. I was admitted to the hospital. I spent 8 weeks in a 2 week coma to help eliminate the pain from the various surgeries performed. I went through various stages of isolation, isopenia. The extraordinary care provided by the team of 8 Dr's, nurses and other specialists helped save my life and left leg from amputation. The experience wasn't what I had planned on to say the least. I woke up not knowing where I was, confused only I looked out the window and saw hot air balloons coming up into the sky. This is when I realized that I was in Albuquerque. Couldn't believe or remember how I got there. The phenomenal nurses were able to comfort me during this time. I had to learn how to walk once again. Wow I am fortunate and forever grateful for such a wonderful group of people who were very important part of my recovery. Thank you ever so much. Hugs to you

Last week one of my twin boys had an ear infection and was screaming in pain. It was about 8:30pm or 9:00pm. We got to Lovelace Westside ER and everyone was so sweet and understanding from start to finish. We were in and out in less than an hour. This week my other little boy had the same symptoms but this time in the early morning. We went in and again were treated amazingly and quickly. It's so nice to know that no matter what time we need to be seen we can count on Lovelace to be consistent, efficient and kind. Thank you to all the staff!

I have no complaints for the hospital. We didn't have to wait to get in. Majority of the staff were nice, of course there's always that one person but we got the care we needed in a timely manner with no issues. Anyone who wants to point fingers at the hospital needs to realize there are protocols in place for different problems and insurance only allows a certain amount of things to be done immediately as opposed to waiting for prior authorization. And just like any other person mistakes can be made and things over looked. It is not intentional for you to not receive the care you needed. I do not work for them, nor do i know anyone personally that works there. I am just aware of the medical field and insurance.

I had been in the ER in my home town, and left in disgust. My son came from ABQ and took me to Lovelace on Golf Course Rd. The ER in Lovelace made my hometown ER look like children playing at being doctors. I was admitted overnight for a procedure that my hometown hospital in the past made me sit on an uncomfortable examining table all night for. Excellent bed -- best night's sleep I've had in years. While IN the hospital overnight, I observed the staff being overextended with an emergency and a hysterical woman (unfortunately the woman was MY roomie). While the general experience was not pleasant, their staff did handle everything with taste, gentleness, and professionalism. Keep up the good work!

I have both hips replaced, have been oh so late treatment after bilateral hip replacements, several lumbar injuries, thoracic, 11-12 compassion fracture, c4-6, 5s-1, ridiculopathy, titanium screw that protrude into but muscles, c4-6 pinched disc, ulcerative colitis, torsion in groin, amongst other ailments. I've been on dilaudid for 8 years, and this establishment neglects to get my pain under control, after explaining that I've been inn pain meds for nearly 16 years these Dr neglects the compassion too get my pain under control... Please help whomever is inn power and influence. I'm tired of suffering at the hands of people that could give a crap less.
