I am very pleased with the professional and friendly services of this salon. My hair stylist Yvette is excellent. My hair always looks gorgeous and I receive so many complements. Yvette is expert in her field and so warm and friendly. She makes my experience at the salon so pleasant. The whole staff is wonderful. R

I never got my hair done there, but when I was younger I met one of the women who worked there, & we became great friends. Most of the employee's who worked there were respectful, but some really were low class rude people. The new receptionist had the nastiness attitude ever, & that's who you higher to greet people when they first come in. After the women I was friends with stopped working there I stopped going. The Manager's wife was a bit tough, but a nice woman as well.

I had Lisa as my stylist. She gave me a lovely cut and color and was personable and accommodating. I highly recommend her and the salon. My only recommendation for a new client is that when you call, ask to speak to the stylist you book with as opposed to the receptionist (who herself is lovely). Your stylist will have a better sense of how much of her time is needed, and how to arrange her appointments to make sure you get exactly what you’d like. It’s 100% worth the call specifically to the stylist, as Lisa is a skilled and caring stylist. It can be difficult to find a stylist who is both sweet and skilled. Lisa is both.

Great vibe, everyone friendly. The young lady that did my hair name is Selma she did an awesome job, understood the hair style I wanted. She took her time to make sure it was perfect. Love it, I love when a person takes their time on my hair. That’s how you know a person loves their job. I was the client that day Libby Nunez. Highly recommended 👍🏼

I’m very picky with who touches my hair just because I’m Hispanic and also not a lot of people know how to work with curly hair. But let me tell you something about Selma. She is the absolute best. First of all, she’s the sweetest girl in person. The greet was beyond explainable. She understood all my concerns and explained everything. I had a horrible due and highlight work done before and when I tell you she did exactly what I asked for, she did exactly that. She turned my nasty color into the most beautiful thing I ever seen. The environment was amazing, the service, the staff, everything was amazing. I recommend this salon to everyone.

I love this salon absolutely wonderful and professional. Kathy the receptionist is a doll, she is so sweet and helpful. My stylist Vicky is so amazing she is a master stylist with incredible skills. Show her a picture she will replicate it identically. She is amazing can't say enough good things about her. I recommend this salon, and they pamper you with a beverage of your choice my favorite is the cappuccino Le Chic Rocks!!!

Customer for years. Owner Lisa a gem.No snobbery or airs. Customers treated with appreciation. Technically superb. Pricier than is elsewhere available, but that's Riverdale. Especially gentle and welcoming without bullying or rushing the physically frail, the mentally frail, the elderly. Respectful and welcoming toward accompanying relatives/ caretakers. Spectacular results for groups for proms, etc. Notable is a welcoming vibe for male customers and proper special knowledge of their trends. If not satisfied, Lisa will strive to make it right. Other hair stylist s and washing assistants friendly and superbly competent. It's so refreshing to know you will be in a " no judgment" zone!What a treat when compared to Manhattan self-important salons!

Best salon I've ever been to. Greatest service I've ever had. I will definitely visit them again, and I highly recommend them. They're an upscale salon, with an outstanding service and reasonable prices. Here's why they deserve five stars. Went there for a crazy problem. I had a very long hair (reached my hips), and I had it dyed 2 years prior to my visit to the salon. Ever since I dyed it, my hair became extremely, ridiculously tangly and matted. Every time I had to brush my hair meant I had to spend almost 2 hours just brushing all that tangly hair!! I had my first baby this past August, and caring for my hair became even more challenging. Needless to say, the problem kept on getting bigger and bigger until the point where all of my hair was matted into one crazy looking gigantic knot that you've never seen before. My hair didn't look like hair anymore. That's how bad my hair was. I called Le Chic Salon to see if they solve such a problem, and they affirmed. When I walked in to the salon, EVERYONE was shocked at how crazy my hair looked. They didn't expect it to be THAT bad. Nevertheless, Lisa, the salon's owner, told me that she'll fix it. I went inside, they sat me down, they applied all sorts of oils and conditioners to my hair, and then...FOUR women started brushing my hair simultaneously! Yes, FOUR women. Each woman was working on a section. One woman, Iris, was working nonstop that she sweated a lot!! Lisa, Vicky, and Ashley worked extremely hard as well. After two hours of hard labor, they gave me my hair back. I got my hair back! Yes some cutting had to be done here and there to loosen up the hair. Yes all that hair pulling was painful. But you cannot find such a service anywhere else. Thank you Lisa, Iris, Vicky, and Ashley for your hard work. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you for giving me my hair back.

I have been going to LeChic for almost 20 years. Lisa is fantastic and a master at color, cuts, styling and an up do artist! Always a friendly greeting and hot coffee or cucumber water and occasionally a delicious glass of wine! Perfect place to get gorgeous and relax

I absolutely love this salon. It's close to where I live and my hair stylist, Vicky, is amazing. She's great with my short hair. I got so many compliments the first time I was there.
