Natalie did an amazing Brazilian blow out on my curly, unruly hair. The end result was smooth, shiney and manageable hair that I love. I recommend Mooi Salon. Natalie and the rest of the stylists and management are very nice and caring. 5 stars. Already made my next appointment for coloring again because Natalie did such a fantastic job when I was there for my first visit.

Bottom line: ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND I’ve gone to Salon Athena twice now. Both times I was absolutely amazed! My first stylist was Nadia who cut and layered my hair. I’m always pretty nervous about getting a haircut but she was so detailed and made sure everything was even and even styled it for me afterwards. This last time I had my hair cut/highlighted by Lisa. First time ever having highlights. Lisa was SO THOROUGH. It was later in the day but she still took her time and didn’t rush through it at all. She picked out the perfect shade of blonde and toner and gave me highlights that blended flawlessly into my hair. I have never been so happy with my hair. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and she ran with it. The building is super clean, all the professionals working there are extremely nice and willing to work with you for what you want. And for the amount of detail and style they put into your hair the prices are great. Will always come back here!!!

It has taken me awhile to find a new salon in South Tampa that takes such great pride in their services like Salon Athena. I have been seeing Lisa for almost a year now. She is very professional and listens to my ideas. She always guides me in the right direction with what service/style will work best with my hair. Recently we tried a body wave (perm) and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much for giving me the courage to try something new while allowing me to keep certain aspects about my hair that I like. I look forward to continuing to work with Lisa. As for the Salon it's self, some of the best customer service I have experienced in awhile. The salon is always clean and neat, products are always in stock, and they take pride in customer service. Highly recommend Salon Athena!

Salon Athena is my favorite salon I’ve ever been to. LISA IS THE BEST!!! She makes sure you are happy with everything , and gives the best customer service and experience!! It’s always super clean, and relaxing environment! The owner is very friendly and always greets you or offers coffee, water. Lisa made me feel beautiful again, and I highly recommend Salon Athena , and if you are getting color Lisa knows how to do everything and anything!!! Prices are affordable too!! From where to even start? My mom and I run into this place one day randomly and since then we can’t live without! Christina was able to help my mom fixing her damaged blonde hair and bring it back to life, while for me I was able to go back to my natural brown color that I always wanted. I really recommend this salon to anyone in the area cause it really improved incredibly my mom and I hair. Incredibly professional staff and clean salon all the time!! Ask for Christina!! Surprisingly enough Salon Athena is one of the only places in Tampa where you can get a perm. I was able to schedule my appointment with ease. Lisa did an amazing job. So much so that I came back to get another one. I couldn’t recommend Salon Athena enough!

What a treat! Lisa is an amazing hair artist!! She is the first stylist to actually listen to me in at least a decade. I've gone to so many salons where I've asked for short layers but they never cut them and lisa did it perfectly. Very technical cut too! She sectioned and cross referenced strands to make sure the hair cut looks balanced. I may have found my salon!

The place is clean, charming and the staff are really friendly. Mel is the one who cut my hair, she did a quick chair side consultation and we discussed what I wanted and what she thought would look good on me based on my needs/concerns and she did a great job. She gave me a hair make-over that I needed. If you are looking for a new place to try, I would recommend you give the ladies at Salon Athena a chance :)

After my hairstylist moved, I decided to go to Athena Salon, also at a friend's referral. I had Ronny and she was fantastic. Super friendly and made it an enjoyable visit. She is very skilled with her cut and color. She is also very honest with her thoughts on her work and adjust it if she needs to. This salon is also reasonably priced. There is a promotion going on for first time customers so I got a great deal but pricing before discount is very reasonable. I am very happy with my cut and color and I will be coming back and referring friends!

This is a beautiful salon with such friendly staff! They offered me a drink while I got comfortable in the salon robe to protect my clothes and Ronny was so easy and fun to talk to while she did my color. The owner even came and made sure I was having a good experience and chatted with me too. The salon was clean, elegant, and the washing sinks even had foot rests for the clients. I can honestly say this was one of the most comfortable experiences I've ever had at a salon. I definitely recommend going and giving their services a shot.

My stylist Kailey did an amazing job in accomplishing the best results for balayage on my hair. I was worried my hair wouldn’t lighten up evenly, but Kailey toned it out to were it looked WAY better than expected! Try out this salon and you won’t be disappointed!

Second time visiting, first time under new owner. Julie did a partial highlight, cut and blow dry. The color and cut came out nicely and Julie was pleasant. I asked for a price before the services began and was quoted 195. The highlights being 90 which is fair, haircut 60 and blow dry was 45. I think the blow dry should be included with a 60 dollar haircut that took less than 5 minutes. The blow dry was mediocre, she didn’t use styling products and made a comment about my hair having no body. The owner also informed me when checking out that they needed to use more toner and charged me an additional 25 dollars. She also asked where I got my eyebrows done and said I should come back so she could “fix them”.

Richard does a wonderful job on my highlights and haircut. He has a great personality. I have been going to him for some time now. I am always happy with my hair when I leave the salon. The manager is very nice and friendly. The salon is clean and has a nice ambiance.
