I have a long hair and I usually get charged 50 she charged me 60. Plus I have the tip. So I gave her 4. Not to the girl who did my hair. She gets 5. Will go back just to get done hair with the same girl. Good thing they all wear mask. Also my appointment was exactly for the time she took me do that was 5.

I love the professionalism Julie brings to her business. She has managed to blend her big corporate mindset with her small business, uniquely elevating the customer service you receive. It’s not your typical Latin hair salon, where you sit for hours waiting. But you still get the great quality hair results. Her knowledge with hair and products for maintenance is very helpful. The minute you walk in someone greets you and gets you started- wether is a wash or a cut or die… you get seated quickly. I have never had to wait. All of her staff are competent and helpful. I highly recommend Diamond Dominican hair salon.

I was serviced immediately upon arrival, I got suchhhhh a good shampoo after she was done I felt like I had the cleanest scalp in the entire world . I felt free or judgment as I am an African American woman who is not always able to properly maintain her hair . The owner was so hands on and nice I felt lie she genuinely cared about getting my hair to the most healthy state as possible. it was a clean environment everyone customers and staff had masks there was little to no one in the shop & everyone was social distanced in and out . I was very shocked at how quickly I got out im use to sitting in a salon for HOURS . The owner even stepped in to trim my hair and offered me additional services I had a great experience and the price was fair I expected that considering the state my hair was in and all the additional treatments I had gotten . Will definitely be returning. Only thing they could improve on is more customer interaction . Talking to us instead of amongst themselves and not sure if they had name tags or not but that would be nice only thing I can remember my stylist by was her beautiful red hair ! Thank you to the owner and her wonderful team

I have difficult hair. I didnt make an appointment they took me in right away. They were very nice and even though there was a slight language barrier I didnt feel uncomfortable at all. I have been going here for about a year now. This place is amazing. Judy takes her time, listens to her clients and actually tells you about your hair. Other places have told me I need a million things and they never did anything. Judy looked at my hair and immediately knew what was wrong and formulated a plan to fix it. My hair has never been healthier, softer, or more vibrant. I would highly recommend her and her salon.

If you want a make over a hydrating facial or a massage Lucy is the one to see. Judith owns the salon but allows her staff to be. Appointments are on time and its beautifully decorated. Literally the best experience! Judy saved my hair and brought it back to life. My hair was dark and an damaged.. she did a balayage and trim and it looks way healthier!! Great prices too! I had never been there before and was worried about trying this place because I love my hair but I'm IN LOVE it wasn't exactly what I asked for but I am SOOO happy about what she did I like it better! They were lovely beautiful ladies and it was affordable. At my old salon it would have costed 100 for what they did. I found my new spot 💕 definitely will be coming here from now on! Judy is a hair specialist! I have very curly hair that is hard to maintain and she is the only one I trust with it. From her blow outs, color services to her deep treatments, she is amazing. This place is new but Judy has been doing hair for years. Her new staff is great as well. They offer waxing, facials and eyelash extensions. Def a place to check out, especially for The prices!!

I recently moved to Tampa and I’ve been having bad salon experiences. Yesterday I went to Judith for a Dominican Blowout and my hair looks and feels amazing! I walked into the shop with a dry, brittle afro and I walked out with my hair shiny, looking healthy, lots of body and I’m loving it! The salon atmosphere is clean and relaxing. I met Judith at her last place and I am so happy to see that she was able to get a place of her own. She always gives everything to each client she has, no matter how busy she is. I texted her this morning and was able to see her that morning. Leaving 1.5 hours later, I felt so much better and my hair looked amazing. I went in not know what exactly I wanted, but knew I was taking maternity pictures this weekend and wanted to look my best, even if I don't feel it. This was my first time ever getting a blowout and it was great! I have natural hair and hadn’t put heat in my hair in 4 years so I was a bit nervous. The ladies all had an upbeat energy and they played good music in the salon which made the whole experience awesome sauce. It was affordable as well. I just moved to Tampa in July and I think I have found a salon I’ll be going back to!

I needed to get my hair done ASAP for a last minute event I was attending. I contacted Judy through FB and was able to schedule an appointment on Friday after work for a Dominican blowout. I was worried that: A. the salon would be super busy, B. I would have a longer wait to get started on my services and C. the length of time in the salon would make me late to my event. I worried for no reason! I walked in 20 mins earlier (thanks to no traffic) than my appt time and was sent right to get my hair washed. I also liked that I had the option to sit under the dryer or just get my hair blown out. Since I was pressed for time, I opted not to sit under the dryer. Lastly, Judy and her sister-in-law did a great job on my hair. It was kinda of a tag team thing. Again, absolutely great service and teamwork. I was out in about an hr and 15 mins with plenty to time to spare to go home to get dressed without a rush. Definitely would recommend this salon to my friends!

I am posting this for my sister. "I went for a haircut and I love it! This is my second time coming here. I love how the stylist asked before she washed my hair what I wanted. She was nice and very understanding and knows what she is doing, and you can tell she has a passion for what she does, I love that. I hope this is right, it says on my receipt that the service was done by Jannifer, I highly recommend her! The only thing I did not like was when I first walked into the salon there was a different lady who worked there sitting in one of the salon chairs and if I remember correctly she greeted me with “what do you want” but not friendly in my opinion, it was pretty unwelcoming, if I was a new client I probably would have walked out. Other than that, I loved the service and will be coming back. One tip I do have though is to always confirm the prices before you get anything done. My aunt did come here once because I told her about it, and she only wanted a haircut and no blow dry, she made it clear. That day there was only one stylist and she only spoke Spanish, but the guy at the receptionist desk was translating for us. My aunt got the haircut and the lady made it seem like she was going to blow dry my aunts hair for free because we told her in the beginning no blow dry and made it clear. But she did it anyways and my aunt ended up having to spend $25 more which was $50 in total with the haircut, not including tip. That is how they get you. What if my aunt didn’t have the extra $25 to spend on the blow dry? And on top of that my aunt has very thin hair, like very thin hair and it was short and not even curly. She should have at least cut down the price down for her. So be very clear on the price, and be very clear on the service or services you want because nothing is free. But it was very wrong of that lady to do what she did, she made it seem like she was doing it on the side. But overall, I do recommend this salon."

I've been going to Diamond Beauty Salon for a while now. I loved the place and how my hair stylish Yamirka, did my hair from day one. The atmosphere is great, the place is glamorous and inviting. I live 15min away driving and with traffic is sometimes worse but I dont mind. Everybody is really nice, professional and knowledgeable about what they do. They do all types of hair, and when I said all hair types, I mean it. Yamirka is great at what she's doing. My hair last for almost two weeks if cared afterwards properly. She takes her time but I'm normally in and out in less than 2hours (normally 1h sometimes 45 minutes). She only works on Saturday but I wish she were there Monday through Friday, because I love how she does my hair. The owner is also very friendly and you can see she cares about the clients. I can't recomend this place enough. 🌸💙❤ Ten stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Second time coming to Diamond and this place really is a gem. I was very impressed with the welcoming staff and intensive knowledge they have for curly hair. Judy (the owner) has a very good one on one session with clients with full detail into treating their hair and Reem the stylist who is very friendly and informative did a wonderful job alongside Judy in styling my curls. I specifically came knowing they were a DevaCurl salon and LOVE their devacurl treatments. They tell you step by step what needs to be done and what products to use for your hair. I used deva curl for the past 3 months and when i cam here i learned the RIGHT way to use them. WILL come back :)

I had an appointment on Christmas Eve last year. They were nice enough to schedule me an appointment. It was packed, but the wait was definitely worth it. Yamilka did my very 1st Keratin treatment and full head highlights. She did an amazing job! I had never seen my hair so long straight, shiny and healthy! I learned a lot about my hair since that day. I have been natural for about 5 years now and this was my 1st time having experienced my hair so manageable and easy to do. Its now been a breeze to just wake up and style it under 20 minutes. I will definitely be scheduling more appointments here in the future. The staff was really nice as well and the salon was very clean.

First off I want to point out that the owner is a extremely hard working woman and that the price is reasonable along with the location, however there is only two women drying hair and they tend to work on people that came after you, finish them first,and I find that really unpleasant, with the fact that due short staff the three times I came I spent 4-5 hours and it can get really exasperating, specially if you have other things to do so if you are fine with a day trip to the salon you will find it okay.
