We always book with Debbie, she’s so great! My son used to hate getting his hair cut and now he looks forward to it. She’s very good with my son and doesn’t baby him, which he responds very well to. She always does a great job and keeps my son’s hair looking good! She always guides me on how to style it myself at home too which is much appreciated!

I called around many places including Cookie Cutters in Clearwater, and couldn’t find the right person that could help my son UNITL we came here. My son is Autistic and has a lot of sensory processing sensitivities. Elio — is one amazing barber! He put my son at ease, allowed my son to hold different things to keep his attention, kept a super calm and patient demeanor, went at my sons pace… and get this—my sons neckline was even shaped up! My son is a mover to say the least, and it felt nice to not feel judged for his behavior. Elio, we appreciate you accepting my son for who he is and being a blessing to our family with your hair cutting skills. Thank you again! My kids love getting their haircuts at Cookie Cutters. It is always clean and the staff are all very kind and patient with the kids. My husband also got his hair cut by Rob and he was very pleased. The 5/$75 card is an amazing deal and we love that it can be used for the kids or daddy. We have been visiting regularly and will continue to do so!

We took my 2 year old son for his first haircut! I was so nervous he wouldn’t stay still or he would cry, but Ashley was great with him! She was super quick, which was great because he does only sit still for a short period of time. He got to sit in a train car, which he loved, and she played Cocomelon on the TV for him. This place was amazing for kids and families. It was our 2 year old first haircut and as a mama I was anxious about how it'd go. He wasn't feeling it with the cool car seats and all. Kasey, the stylist, was so kind and patient and made our experience great. He left smiling with his little car toy he got from the "cookie monster cookie" place.

I took my 6-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son for haircuts here. It was an amazing experience! The kids each got to choose a fun vehicle to sit in, and a TV show to watch (Netflix, Disney+, etc.). The stylist did a good job on both of their haircuts, and sent us off with fun styles. My son got a faux-hawk with red temporary hair dye, and my daughter got curls with a pretty bow and sparkle spray. Both kids were thrilled that the experience ended with a balloon and lollipop. It was a fun experience all-around. I wish we had salons like this when I was a kid. We will definitely be back!

I love this place, they take care of my 2 years old kid so good.!!! Last time my kid was attended by Debbi, she was amazing!!!, I ended having a hair cut too!.. she is so patient, kind, professional. My baby has a good behaviour while getting his hair cut always, but last time I went, it was a toddler boy crying like if he was dying... and Debbi took care of him so nicely and so patient, and the hair cut was so great that I selected her for the next appointment and I don't regret it, I'm very happy of the change even when the previous times were a good experiencies. I live far from it, at 30 minutes, but every time I look for something near I get dissapointed of the staff. In here, staff and the local, both are great!!!

Very polite staff. Very accommodating to help a child or toddler feel comfortable. Had Blippi and Peppa Pig playing on different monitors for every haircut station. Colorfully painted with a small waiting area playground. An employee blew bubbles the whole time my 2 year old was getting their haircut, which was a great interactive distraction. My toddler left with a balloon, and a lollipop. Where else can you go to give you child this fun experience whilst being styled?

Kids “chairs” are torn and not in great shape. Ashley was nice enough and did a good job with both cuts. No one actually interacted with the kids though. Other kids were running around and throwing toys, one almost hit my daughter. Not worth the $22 price tag, I’ll be taking them to my hair stylist moving forward.

We love this place! Every person here is so patient and sweet. Last time Rob did my 3yo hair and he was so gentle, super patient with him and did an awesome job for a toodler who hates electric razors; so he did it with scissors only while playing with him. Thank you guys!

The person did a great job cutting my sons hair!! My son I think got scared of the clippers so he wasn’t sitting still but the end result looks great. Just make sure to prepare mentally since your kid will grow up before your eyes it took me a while to adjust to his new hair cut!!

My husband and I traveled over 2 hours to cookie cutters in Tampa because of all the great reviews I found and boy were they right! My son just turned 3 and he’s been very terrified of getting haircuts and no one will touch his hair locally. So when I went through google and found cookie cutters hair cut, I had to book an appointment and give it a shot. We booked the appointment with Elio. We got there a bit early so my son can sort of see the atmosphere and they have a slide for kids to go on and sure enough that’s where my son wanted to go for a good half hour. But I love that they have so many child friendly toys. They have bubbles you can purchase, toy cars, etc. Of course my son wasn’t having it when he realized he was getting a haircut but let me tell you Elio handled it so well! My husband and I were apologizing like crazy due to all the crazy crying and screaming but Elio kept reassuring us that it was okay and we just want to say thank you to Elio and thank you to the staff for being so patient and actually taking the time with our son. You guys are amazing and definitely worth the drive. We found our new hair cut spot for our son. Highly recommend!

Elio did an amazing job on my 5 yr old son's first barber haircut. My son has very curly hair and hes sensitive to the buzzing sound of the clippers. Elio was patient and very gentle and eventhough my son kept kicking and squirming, he took his time to make sure we didnt have to end up getting a buzz cut. Halfway thru, my son calmed down and let Elio do his thing and his blow out came out perfectly! We will definitley be returning to Cookie Cutters for our lil one's haircutting needs.

The only thing I wish there was more attention to make this special this it was my little ones first hair cut like the before and after pic should have been with hair down not with hair up on both pic so it didn’t show any difference in both photos in the certificate that was disappointing for me

Took my 4 year old son to get a haircut and he absolutely loved the place. The whole environment makes it fun for the kids. And Ashley was amazing. Just gave her a brief explanation of what I wanted and she did it just like I had pictured. My son loved his new haircut, and I just got to say these stylist have a lot of patience the kid beside us was not having it but the stylist remained calm and worked with the mom to still give the kid a haircut, so definitely recommend!

Great with kids. I’ve been there twice, for a first haircut and follow up trim a few months later. Both times I was very happy with the cut. The first haircut was a better experience than I had with my other child at another kids salon. I had to sit with my daughter on my lap for her first haircut, but she was comfortable the next time. It helps that they have a play area with a slide, I think. I will be returning for future kids haircuts! Thank you guys!!

Great Experience! This place is beautifully themed for small children. The chairs are shaped like firetrucks, planes, and trains, and there are streaming services on the TV so they can watch cartoons to keep them occupied while getting their hair cut. Our stylist was great as well!

My son's first haircut was amazing. Rob made this experience a fantastic one. My son didn't even pay attention to the scissors and clipper, which he is scared of. Everything was perfect! From the Police car seat to the TV with my son's favorite cartoon. Rob was delicate and informed my son of every step he was doing to ensure he was aware. Rob is definitely great with kids. Good job! My 3 year old LOVED it! He especially loved the arcade game (which he didn’t ACTUALLY play, more so just played with) and the little playground area. Cute place for my grandsons first haircut. He was afraid so he wouldn't hold still. There were pieces of hair missed around the ears and uneven in the back. But I understand it's hard to do when he is freaking out. I asked to not put the cape on him but we left with hair all over us. I thought maybe she would blow it off with dryer. But overall, satisfied with the cut. I would go back.

It was my daughter's first haircut. I was more anxious than she was. the guy who greeted us didn't seem to know it was the first cut even though I had marked the option on the website. They didn't put protection on her clothes. she became full of hair cut on her clothes and face. she is 18 months old. the guy didn't seem ready for her haircut but there was a girl who did. she was patient at least. but it was not an experience as I wanted.

My son hasn't had a good haircut in probably 5 years. I always have issues with stylists saying they can manage a child ( not true ). Here was totally different, Ashley did an amazing job and my son has never stood as still as he did with anyone else. I will definitely be going back, I was satisfied all the way around with our experience. Even my son asked if we could always go back, so that's a plus. Thank you

My eldest son hates getting his hair cut because the buzzer is so loud around his ears. Rob did a fantastic job with both of them. This is a cute place to take children for hair services. It a Convenient place. I do wish they played music or had a television or a magazine to browse. The place is dead quiet and uncomfortable every time we go. The stylist complained about the amount of hair gel my child had in and told us to use less.

Rob is amazing. He is so patient and kind. Our kids are not happy whatsoever getting their haircut. They scream and move the entire time. Rob never flinched. Was kind, patient and gave a great cut. We will definitely have him do both kids from now on!!!! ***Side Note**** Debbi was horrific. Please, if your kids have anxiety about haircuts DO NOT let her near your child. She has no patience and does not understand children at all. How and why she is working in a children's hair cutting place is beyond me.

They are so great with kids staff is very friendly and super helpful, love how they help eachother and keep the kids occupied so they can get their hair done. My son litey cried for 2 seconds and laughed, danced, and was nothing but smiles the rest of the time!!

Rob did a great job on my son's hair. My son is very apprehensive about haircuts, but Rob tried to make him feel comfortable and was very patient. My only complaint is that we had to wait 30 minutes. We were on time for our appointment, but Rob was with another customer when we arrived. The salon is very clean and sanitized and the staff are very friendly and great with kids. My son is 7 yrs old, we have been taking him to the barber but last time the barber cut him and hurt him and he was refusing to get a haircut since! When we came to cookie cutters his attitude changed immediately, he played in the little playground and the Pac-Man machine before his turn! We didn’t have an appointment but the stylist was able to fit us in his schedule, he enjoyed getting his haircut, the Stylist put on the cartoon of his liking and did a great job cutting his hair, he got a lollipop afterwards and I got discount cards for future visits! This place even has an app to manage appointments and all! I’m very satisfied with the service and will be returning.

Great experience and great haircuts. Kayla called us in advance as the AC went out at the shop prior to our appointment. She gave us the option to reschedule or keep our appointment. I decided to keep our appointments and am glad we did. They did a great job on my 6 year olds thick, wavy hair. I have always found her hair very unmanageable. She walked out with a style that looks cute and is very manageable. It doesn't look unkempt 15 minutes after brushing. Both myself and my daughter couldn't be happier with her new hair cut. I loved that he was attentive to the fact we only wanted a trim as this was my biggest fear, that the stylist would go scissor happy, but Rob continuously asked if the length was ok. We arrived about 5 minutes early to our appointment, but Rob was the only one there and he was running behind due to someone who arrived late to an earlier appointment. By our appointment time, the child in front of us had still not gotten his haircut yet. Rob took $5.00 off of everyone's haircuts that were waiting due to the delay. He was very calm and professional and handled everything very well - however giving 4 stars instead of 5 as he was the only one working and he seemed very behind (phone was ringing and wasn't able to sweep up the hair in real time due to being behind) I don't think that was his fault at all, as he was trying to move quickly, but just think there should have been another employee there to help.

We had an incredible experience! My son who's 5 is normally terrified of getting his haircut and his older brother who is 7 hasn't had his hair cut professionally for 2 years and was extremely nervous. That was until we came to Cookie Cutters! His hairstylist name was Ashley and she was fantastic! Not only did she do a great job on their hair, she also had such a caring personality. I truly felt like we had known her for a long time with how thoughtful she was by making sure they were comfortable and also making me feel comfortable as well. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful. There was a small playground area with a little slide that was perfect for my 5 year old. There was also a little Pac-Man arcade game that was free that the older kids really enjoyed playing. That was great because it helped keep their older sibling busy and my 7 year old while his brother was getting his haircut. They were also able to sit able sit in the seat of their choice. One looked like a car, the other like a train and we're able to watch their favorite shows on a TV right in front of them to keep occupied. Afterwards, they were able to get a balloon and a lollipop. I am truly grateful for having a place to take my children where they are so happy to be there that they don't want to leave. I highly recommend Cookie Cutters if you are looking for the perfect place for your children's haircut, even the parents! They also have mom and daddy haircuts as well. 😁
