I've gone here twice and absolutely love the service and results. I have had many many other hair straightening treatments done and they only last about two weeks, especially in this humidity. With the Japanese hair straightening here at Anna Bang the product lasts! I only have to go back because of the regrowth. The fact that she is booked out 4-6 months should tell you that she is incredible at her craft. From what I understand they only take two appointments a day each because the process takes so long. She takes her time to do it correctly so if you cancel your appointment, she can't just make it up. She has a strict cancelation policy for good reason. She has a business to run and bills to pay too.

Great Service and professionalism!!! I had curly, frizzy, and sometimes uncontrollable hair....until I met Anna and Paul. Anna and Paul both took the time to discuss hair straightening with me. Anna Bang is awesome!! If you want straight, silky hair, this is the right salon for you. Anna and Paul are meticulous and care very much about making the best recommendations for your individual hair needs. I have naturally very frizzy hair, but you wouldn't know it, because Anna has done a great job straightening it for the last 2 years and she has given me the silky hair I want. I’ve been going to Anna for several years and she’s extremely knowledgeable and has many years of experience with Japanese straightening. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to use this treatment on my hair. I have extremely curly /frizzy hair and it use to take me close to two hours to blow dry and flat iron, just to get my hair straight. After getting the Japanese straightening, it now takes me ten to fifteen minutes total, it’s low maintenance and has been a huge time saver for me. I will never go back to curly/frizzy hair again.

The service she provides is outstanding, and the product line she stands behind is the best hair care line I've ever used (and I've used a lot of lines!). I did research and had a consult before having Anna treat my very curly hair. She and her husband are more like hair doctors and I would trust no one else for this treatment. I had tried Keratin which had somewhat relaxed my hair but I didn’t like the texture. This treatment is completely different and has changed my hair entirely. It is silky and healthy and people can’t stop touching it! I only wish I had started doing this sooner. It is incredibly easy to take care of and takes less time than dealing with my curls. Great product and service! I have been getting the Japanese Hair Straightener from Paul for 4 years now, and have been very happy with the results and care he takes not to damage your hair. I've seen potential clients get irrationally angry when he or Anna advise they can not use this product on them due to the potential damage it could cause to their over processed hair. I recently had Anna do the Japanese Hair Straightening for me. I had Cancer and lost all of my hair and when it grew back it was so curly and frizzy. My hair is now straight and as soft as a babies hair. I wash it and go, no blow drying needed for it to be straight and soft. My hair was very frizzy, had flyaways and wavy. My hair was dense and no way I could do a presentable hairstyle except for a bun or a french braid. I tried expensive keratin treatment from a popular salon but that treatment did not last more than two days. I was hesitant to go for permanent hair straightening because I heard it leads to hair loss. Finally I decided to give a try. I took an appointment with Anna Hair Bang and Paul did my hair. He was very professional, worked for hours to get every strand done and in the end gave me a hair cut as well. He is very detailed, meticulous, courteous and very patient with his customers. This salon and the people who work there, Anna and Paul, are the best and most professional hair stylists I have ever met in my 50 years on this planet! They take their time to do the process correctly and never rush. It was my first time and did not know what to expect. Paul straightened my hair, which I did not believe was EVER possible. I have had other stylists try to straighten it with Keratin and other products, but they never lasted. The Japanese Straightening product is unique. It leaves your hair soft and silky and shiny and straight. It even FEELS LIGHTER THAN A FEATHER! I no longer have to spend an hour blow drying my hair, flat ironing it and adding barrettes or bobby pins. It is beautiful just the way it is. I have always wanted straight, soft, shiny hair but never thought it was ever attainable, especially with the humidity in Florida. Even after sweating from working outside, no frizz at all. I usually do not do online reviews but felt that both Paul and Anna deserve a big "shout out" on the excellent quality of their work. They are detail-oriented, friendly and know what they are doing! When I was checking out, Paul gave me a very nice handbag with some awesome conditioning products worth $18 for free since I was a new client. I will never go any place else now. I have had hair straightening done before, but it has never come out as perfect as this. Anna Bang transformed my frizzy bird's nest into soft, shiny, pin-straight hair and all I have to do is wash it and let it dry naturally. I exercise outdoors, but not even the hot, humid Florida weather has any effect on it any more. I love it and will definitely go back. Anna and Paul are the best!

At first I was skeptical because the hair salon was located in a very small area... However, looks are deceiving. Even though the exterior of the salon is kinda sketchy, the work performed by Anna Bang and her husband is absolutely wonderful... I got my hair done by Anna, and I thought it was rather professional to have a consultation prior making an appointment. She took a look at my hair, and evaluated it. I have Asian thick hair, not too coarse but it has some frizziness to it. She said I didn't need to get it done because it wasn't bad, but I got it anyways because I couldn't deal with some of the frizz! That shows that she isn't there to take your money, but she provides professional advice. I did perm hair straightening, and the results were amazing. I love my new hair, and I'm more confident going out! I also bought her Nigelle-ER shampoo and hair treatment which is highly recommended post perm process. Thank you, Anna Bang! I will definitely come back again!! :-)

I have gone to Anna Bang several times and have noticed a great difference in the health of my hair. Paul and Anna had assessed my hair and used products that would work well, since my hair was extremely dry and damaged from prior chemical treatments. Recently, I had gotten color applied to my hair and Anna explained the process, ingredients, and maintenance to extend the life of the color. They have always taken the time to make sure that the present state of my hair could handle any of the processes I wanted to use. My hair grows out and it's a graceful degradation. I don't have to run and get something done right away because it grew in wrong. In Japanese culture, it's all about presentation, technique and experience. You get all that and the quiet elegance that is Anna Bang.
