I’ve been seeing Becca at Spruce for 2 years now. I’ve got thick, unruly, wavy hair and every time I leave after an appointment I feel absolutely invincible! She has cut my hair into a lob (long bob), dyed it dark brown, done highlights, curled/styled it, and layers. I always leave looking and feeling beautiful and on top of the world. More so than her talent, Becca is extremely personable and ~genuinely~ cares.

Becca is literally a GOD when it comes to hair. I’ve been in Seattle for 10 years and hadn’t found a stylist I’ve liked until I went to Becca. She cares so much about the integrity of your hair and making sure it is as happy and healthy as should be! She took me bleach blond, lived in blonde and now brunette and every time my hair looks good and FEELS good. Not to mention, she’s made my Bob into a cool French girl Bob. She takes the time to explain the process and why something will or will not work. I will never be able to leave Seattle because I could never not go to Becca!

Becca Sandoval is the absolute best! I’ve seen her for a few years now and trust her to make me feel glamorous. I occasionally go in without a clue of what to do, but I can trust that she’ll have something great in mind. And when I task her with a vision for my hair, she’s always spot on. I came in day one with a butchered hombre and Becca absolutely exceeded my expectations and transformed my hair with a beautifully natural balayage. Now she’s got me full blonde and I’m loving it! + a kind hear and great convo to boot. I’m always excited for my appointment with Becca! On top of that, spruce is doing an outstanding job dealing with the Covid situation. Masks, distancing, temp checks, lots of sani and health waivers. Thank you all!

If you are looking for an amazing mens haircut, this is definitely the spot. Len was super helpful in helping me find a great style for my hair and giving me an excellent haircut! The atmosphere there is great too, everyone is friendly. 10/10 experience

Highly recommend Becca!!! She is amazing. If you want fabulous hair, she is the one! I just show up and she makes me walk out loving how I look for months. I don't have to tell her exactly what shade/style (Like you know how some stylist bring out the book and tell you to pick what you want, ugh)... she gets what I'm trying to say without having to show her exactly what I need. I have curly hair which is very challenging and I struggle with stylists. With Becca I never walked out unsatisfied. Everyone compliments me for my hair.

Lindsay is a genius!! I came to her with 6 months of grow out, bleach blonde ends and brown/grey roots. She listened to what I wanted and even made some suggestions based on my skin tone and coloring. The end results were AMAZING!! Definitely coming back!

Lindsay has been doing my hair for about 7 years. She is great at taking what I tell her I want while also putting in her input. I’m always so happy with the haircut and color she gives me. She’s so friendly and fun to talk to and gives such a nice scalp massage! I frequently get compliments on my hair and I always recommend that people go see Lindsay. I also want to add, as I've seen Lindsay over the years, I've seen the work of Becca too. While Becca has never done my hair, I'm always so impressed when I see the end result of her work, it's beautiful! If I didn't see Lindsay, I would for sure try Becca.

Lindsay is f'n AMAZING! The Spruce was recommended to me by a close friend that has been getting haircuts from Lindsay for a few months now. I noticed a definite step-up in his "hair-game" so finally asked who's been cutting his hair. He pointed me to Lindsay at the Spruce. First impressions when I got there were...SUPER clean place, staff was warm and courteous and most importantly...I felt safe and could tell they take the safety of others very seriously. Lindsay is super funny and has some serious skills...I don't think my hair has ever looked this fresh. I told my wife about her and now we both make the extra commute to see her.

I went to Spruce for a manicure. Deanna was so thoughtful and careful. She transformed my overworked and neglected nails into something beautiful again. Deanna did such a good job and the salon was so nice I thought I should come right back that night and see how they did with my hair.... Wow. I am so pleased~ Len is the first stylist in Seattle to actually give me the haircut I was decribing and wanting. I haven’t had a truly good haircut since I moved from NYC. I had already washed that day so he did the entire haircut dry -amazing- and the other reviews are correct~he is an artist with complete focus and considering every step. *Highly* recommend.

Amelie is amazing! If you are looking to have your hair well taken care of-being it a color change, especially fun punky colors she is your girl! I have never had such healthy hair despite coloring. She looks at the photos of what I like and makes my hair even better. I love the fact that they use low odor and organic products. It doesn't stink in there which is crucial for people with allergies and sensitivities. Amelie is so much fun she makes the whole experience wonderful. I have never been disappointed in my cut. My hair always styles well for months after! Super affordable and reasonable pricing. My first few years in Seattle I would constantly be disappointed with pricing of colorists being disproportionate and with the value but with Amelie I am consistently surprised by her fair pricing and superior color skills! I highly recommend!

She did a razor cut choppy lob and I am super happy with my new hair style, especially having gone in self conscious of chopping my hair off. Amelie did a fabulous job with my cut and color. She was able to fit me in while I was visiting from NYC and I found her skills to be even better than the salons at home, especially the color! She is a whiz with fun colors but she also expertly matched my base color. My rose gold never looked so good! Plus my hair felt super conditioned and soft even after color treatment. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Seattle :).

Had a wonderful experience at Spruce with Cassidy over the holidays! The gel manicure with her lasted forever and the nail art we did was so cute yet tasteful. The salon doesn’t smell of any fumes because they use non toxic gels and don’t use dip powder or acrylic. I’m happy I stumbled upon this gem of a salon in Fremont and look forward to my next services.

I came in today for a Luxe mani/pedi birthday treat with Cassidy. I don't do this regularly, so I like to really experience everything. It was my first visit there, and second pedicure ever. I am so, so pleased! The salon is very clean, warm, and friendly. Cassidy is talented and knowledgable, I felt very comfortable with her. The products she used are fantastic, and the hand massages had me drooling! She is easy to talk to and smile with. I loved the big porcelain foot tub on the basket-cushion; the little touches really add to the cozy aesthetic of the nail area. I am really happy with the experience!

I have very thick hair and an unreasonable desire to keep it long, which has translated into a bit of a nightmare lately. Len did an amazing job removing all the bulk and weight while keeping all the length. It's kind of unbelievable - looking at my hair you would never think half of it was left on the floor of the salon (good riddance!). He took the time to listen, and checked in with me throughout the process so I could make decisions every step of the way. I would wholeheartedly recommend Len to everyone. His skill and his patience are impressive - this is the best haircut I've had in years.
