Great service! My husband got his hair cut here, the hairstylist was very professional and took a good amount of time. We were very happy with the result. This place is less expensive than other hair salon in the area. If you are a woman I recommend that you call to see which day there is someone who cut woman's hair because they specialize on man's haircuts.

Not only have my haircuts been good, the price is half of what other shops charge in Seattle. Allows me to tip five or ten dollars a time - they’re that good.

Feels more like a neighborhood barbershop than an overly commercialized chain. I've seen them cut hair for all genders, ethnicities, and styles.

Linda (sp?) is a true pro providing a skilled and efficient cut. I have Asian hair which has been challenging for many barbers and stylists during my lifetime. Linda is a master with the shears, to which my hair responds much better than clippers. The price is super reasonable which makes the entire experience a great value.

This was my first time in Sports Hair Salon. My hair was cut by David. I did something like long pixie and short bob cut, and I’m really surprised with how well he cut my hair by just looking at a picture and asking me how short I want it. I explored a lot of salons in Seattle but I never had such good experience in this price range.

Very good and inexpensive (by Seattle standards) small hair salon located in First Hill. Men's haircut was 20$ (they take cash only , no credit cards). it was a good haircut at a good price. Walk-in's only (no appointments accepted), they have a sign up sheet outside if they are busy.

My husband just went here today July 18, 2022 and the person who did his hair screwed it’s up so badly that I had to fix it! He had curly long hair, it was past his shoulders, and the person didn’t wet his hair all the way before cutting, left large areas uncut all over, and he even had areas that weren’t even that I had to fix! At the end the guy was taking the drape off and hadn’t even trimmed my husbands neck! Mind you I am NOT a hairdresser and I fixed it!! Needless to say he won’t go here again. To the owner who just said “come back and we’ll fix it”. Too late, the hair is already gone! And I already fixed it!! I shouldn’t have to fix it!! Thought you guys were the professionals, not me.

Walk ins only and cash preferred (or venmo I guess). Men's haircut was $20 and on a Wednesday afternoon business was slow so it was super quick....and I mean the haircut too lol. My guy spent idk like 11 minutes cutting my hair really really quickly so idk if it was even worth $20 bucks haha. It's a typical no frills Vietnamese haircut studio where all the barbers are like family or close friends and they're all speaking to each other in viet too. I know this because I'm Viet and I understand it but I don't think they knew I understood lol

Strikes the right balance between no-fuss, reasonably priced and good quality haircut. Very friendly and receptive people. About the only nit to pick is that they prefer cash and avoid cards as much as possible. Can’t really blame them with the merchant fees being what they are. Just remember to stop by the ATM on your way in.

Super friendly stylists, quick and affordable service. Cash only, or venmo if you have to. I started coming here mid-pandemic as it was local to where I lived, but it's easily worth the short trek to go there. I don't feel pressured to have a conversation, and can use the 20 minutes to close my eyes a bit before going back to work. So grateful this is in our neighborhood.

Limited parking, so my husband and I did have to pay for parking. My husbands hair cut was just a simple cut, and that turned out great. For my own I had longer hair being cut into a pixie, the man cutting my hair was pretty accurate to the picture I gave him. He took his time to make sure it was right, which I appreciate very much. He just made it all look right even though I wasn't too terribly sure on how exact I wanted it. Still had a great experience, and didn't cost me an arm and a leg and no BS salon pricing!! At the end of the day I paid 50$ plus a 10$ tip for both of our cuts. It would be worth going back. Also there's no appointments and you just walk right in.

When I first moved here from NYC over a year ago, I was disappointed to find that most of the barbers here charge $35-45 for a mens cut before tip, far more expensive than what I was used to for someone who gets a simple fade and trim up top. I was thankful my friend recommended this spot since I get my haircut at least once a month, so I need a place that is affordable, quick, and offers a good cut. Sports Hair Salon is great, I've never waited too long and I get a consistent cut from anyone there. They're well versed in cutting Asian hair too, which is a plus for me. Service has always been top notch and the precautions they've taken post-COVID have made it a comfortable experience. Highly recommend coming here.

Best $20 hair cut in Seattle! Tom is my guy straight up, he always remembers who you are and makes you feel welcomed. They are Covid compliant, very friendly, and always do a good job. Good for asian hair styles too. Only thing is bring cash if you don't want the the low key stink eye.

First of All the shop is very clean and sanitize, they have sign in sheet and practice contract tracing with phone number, they doing temperature check al customers, and use disposable cape which is great, and MASK REQUIRED for everyone that enter the shop including employees. The haircut and color are excellent as well. Highly Recommend. Will definitely come again.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this hair establishment for 6 years now. Friendly hairdressers who greet you when you come in. Haircut - not spectacular, and highly dependent on the hairdresser you get, but overall quality above average (I’ll say 6-8 out of 10. If you’re a guy with short hair like me, you can trust that nothing can go too wrong). Gave a 5-star simply because no salon in town can beat their price (think I was charged $10-14 when I was a student, now I pay $16 as an adult/non-student/male).

Haircuts are okay for the price. However with the construction that is going on there is now __zero parking__. There aren’t any paid lots nearby anymore. Your only option is hoping you can find street parking at least 6 blocks away. I have tried to go three times this month. It’s sad.

I was a little worried coming in because the price and the fact that there are very few Asian hair specialists in Seattle meant little assurances for quality. I'm used to getting my hair cut at low cost Asian salons, though the clientele here is like 98% men for some reason. My cut turned out fine, similar to going to a fancy salon, but without the frills and at 1/3 the price ($22, long hair). Pretty straightforward experience!

They're SUPER experienced at cutting guys' hair. I walked in on a random Thursday afternoon during work hours, and the seats were all full of dudes. I see fewer reviews from women, though, so: As an asian female with super thick hair (literally take some normal person's hair and multiply it by like 3), I just received the fastest and easiest haircut of my life. I told Kim to trim it and thin it. No bangs, no layers, just straight across. $22 (tip separate) and 20 min later, I walked out satisfied. People have taken longer to just brush my hair. I once spent 2 hrs in a chair for a simple cut. My hair isn't even that long, consistently mid-shoulder blade. I wouldn't come here to be pampered, but if you're the type of person who literally would let someone cut their hair with a sword if it made everything faster, this is THE PLACE for you.

Make sure you're very descriptive with the style and haircut you'd want. They'll listen and it'll be a good experience. Usually there isn't a wait here but if there's a wait, the wait times are usually short. Again, make sure you describe the cut you want very clearly and in detail to get the right cut. They do care about their customers and want to do a good job. 👍

Hands down the best, affordable, and most reliable place to get a clean, super well layered, no bs, no unnecessary flashy demonstrations haircut in Seattle - everyone’s a pro, super friendly, never make you wait more than 10 mins, the cut itself is so fast but so well done. I always come here for trims and they do a long layer beaaaautifully and even cut my bangs nicely for me! For $22!!! (try to pay in cash to support small businesses) Had really damaged ends and Lee took care of that ASAP and now walking out 15 mins later feelin like a goddess. I used to hate getting haircuts and feeling traumatized by how wrong or long hairdressers handled my longish straight and colored Asian hair, but these people know exactly what they’re doing and I AM SO GRATEFUL a place like this still exists in Seattle. better than other upscale places in cap and certainly better than the shops in Chinatown!

All I needed was a little off the back and over the ears...not an infrequent request. I was given a "neck trim" and charged a mere $6! Really appreciated when all I need is a little maintenance and not a full haircut. Took less than five minutes and I was out the door looking and feeling great! I will be back for all of my haircut needs; this place is off the beaten path in between Seneca and Spring, a hidden gem. Take note they are closed on Tuesdays.

On a business trip from NY and needed a trim. Found this place on google and decided to stop by. Tom cut my hair and its the best buzz cut Ive had in a while. People think buzz cuts are easy but it can be very tricky because if you make a small mistake, its very obvious. You have to get the transition correctly and in the right area relative to your head shape in order to look good. Ill definitely come back next time im in seattle and need a haircut.

I'm male from Portland OR and originally from Japan. I've been living Seattle a year and half and looking for new hair cut place. I used to go $80 hair cut every 4~6 weeks when I was in Portland. It was amazing. My hair is not easy to cut and design because super straight and so many (Most people told me) . So I tried to go many hair cut place from $20 to $80 in Seattle. But I still couldn't find right place to go. One place ($50) are good but I felt $30 is fair price. Because the hair cut only can go 2 weeks.The balance of value are important for me. Anyway I found this salon yesterday from google and it said $10!!!! $10!!! I thought it'll be great if the hair cut are not bad. So I can go every two weeks and my hair looks clean every time! So I went to there today's noon. IT WAS GOOD. AND IT WAS REALLY $10! I highly recommend to try this place. The feeling of you can go hair cut anytime are AMAZING. I'm going to back this place whenever i saw my side or back hair or grow.

Cash Only! Cam always does a good job with my hair, and she doesn't charge ridiculous prices for it. She's also pretty fast, and don't be afraid to ask her to touch up some places again, but that just might be because I'm pretty particular. They're closed on Tuesdays, and there is city street parking nearby that's a lot cheaper than the paid lot.
