Most beautiful haircut I've ever had - Phoenix at Salon Refine gave my hair life I hadn't seen in years. I asked for long round layers and long bangs, which Phoenix cut perfectly! My hair frames my face, feels healthier and thicker. I can see so much more movement in my hair too! Phoenix was very knowledgeable on products and styling, giving me tips on how to maintain my new cut, have healthy, shiny hair, and possible styles to try! I can't wait to come back for another cut and foilyage - Phoenix also specializes in beautiful foilyage, perfect for going lighter this summer. Thank you so much Phoenix for the amazing cut and Dove, the office manager, for being so welcoming and warm.

I've lived in Seattle for 10+yrs and only in the past year have I finally found my go-to hair guru in Emily Ladiges. I have super thin, very dark hair and really love bright, vibrant primary colors on my ends, so I don't make it easy. I've now seen Emily about 7 times and she's transformed my hair from a long stringy mess (that really only found its way into a topknot or pony) into a volumizing short style that grows out great! I can even leave the house with it wet/sans product and it looks decent. Even more - she's been able to bleach (without turning my hair orange) & dye my hair with a wide variety of colors without a problem. I've currently got a melange of bright yellow, teal, purple and magenta peeking out around my head. I now prefer to just let Emily make her magic, letting her take the creative lead! I haven't been disappointed yet!

Jill - the owner - is great. My wife used to get her hair cut there and loves it. Friendly staff. It is very pricey (for me) but I like it because then I don't get my haircut for about 3 months to increase my ROI

Went for the first time today, and I am so happy with my experience! The salon was super clean, the cost was good, the staff was friendly and Emily, my stylist, did an amazing job! She does an excellent job with shampooing - it was super relaxing. And, I am very happy with how my cut turned out. Will definitely be going back!

I'm so happy I found this salon! I had a terrible haircut at a different salon the previous week, which I absolutely hated (an accidental mullet really). I went to Salon Refine a couple of days later to see if it could be fixed to any degree. Haili did an incredible job fixing my haircut. It looks exactly like it was supposed to the first go round! I highly recommend Haili!

This was my first visit to Salon Refine and it was great! Emily took the time to look at my hair and ask questions about what I wanted and to make suggestions. Then gave me the BEST shampoo/scalp massage. The cut looks amazing and I'm loving it. Added bonus, she was really friendly and we talked about a variety of topics. (11/19) I've been to Salon Refine three times now and it has been great every time. Emily is always cheerful, ready to ask and answer questions, and to look at photos of the kinds of cuts you are interested in. You can be confident of an excellent experience at Salon Refine!

I scheduled a consultation with Sebastian to try and fix my hot mess hair. I wanted to return to blonde after having my hair dyed blue and had already visited another salon that was not successful in removing the blue, let alone getting me back to blonde. Sebastian told me his thoughts and a plan for removing the blue then foiling to bring my blonde back, and was confident in his ability to achieve what I wanted. I did not expect to be able to start the process right then and there, but Sebastian told me he had a couple of hours until his next appointment, so we started the first part of the plan and voilà, the blue is (mostly) gone, and we’re scheduled to finish with the foils next week! I’m so happy I found Sebastian and Salon Refine on Google! Pricing-wise, I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for, so while this process is not cheap, I’m paying for Sebastian’s expertise and time in correcting this expensive mistake! Lesson learned: no blue hair again! 💜

Celeste is AMAZING! I moved to Seattle, and I have been on the hunt for a good stylist for short hair - like I have seen 13 different stylists!!! I came to Celeste with a butchered haircut that had key pieces cut overly short. She started by asking a ton of questions (which good stylists should, but rarely do) and then spent so much time and effort getting my hair fixed, even though we had agreed it was going to take more than one cut! She even stopped mid style to refine a troubled area. I was so impressed by her professionalism, eye for detail and precision scissor skills. The end result was so amazing! I feel like I finally found a high quality stylist and salon to call home.

I moved to Seattle in Jan 2018 and in Feb I started to look for a new stylist. I have been to many 5-Star review places but after visiting I have never come back to them. One day I have found Refine salon on Google, read the reviews on Yelp and gave it a try. My stylist was Melissa. She did a great job at first time. I needed a fix after bad balayage from another popular salon. So I’ve come back, and again - I’m very happy with my result. Melissa always guesses all I want. Besides her professional skills she is a very positive person, easy to talk to. Happy that I have finally found my place :) Highly recommended!

Really great salon. Emily did my hair and gave me the most AMAZING head and neck massage while washing my hair. She also worked off of the picture I brought with me that I wanted for my haircut. My hair still looks great next day after a shower and no product. Really recommend this salon.

I took my 12 yr old granddaughter to see Emily and it was perfect!! This was her 1st salon experience and I had sent a msg for the appt that she did't really like her curly hair. Emily made sure to say how beautiful her curls were and took the time to educate her about proper hair washing & care. She did a beautiful job of trimming her ends and then straightening her hair into the cutest of styles. My gd was so happy about the way her hair looked when we were done - I could not recommend Emily more!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

Attentive to their guests needs, they provide a warm and welcoming and professional environment. The guest experience is a point of pride for the salon. The staff is very knowledgeable and can help make suggestions on difficult style questions. Salon Refine offers 2 hour validated parking in the Whole Foods parking garage. Stop by for a world class salon experience.

Salon Refine is Amazing! I have a lot of hair and it has always been a challenge finding someone that can handle all of it and still make me look fabulous every time I see them! Kieu is AMAZING! She really knows hair and also knows you! She will never steer you wrong and she will always take good care of you and your needs! Her Up-dos are always so gorgeous also! She is so versatile, one stop shop for sure! I can get my cut, color and style all in one place! I love her new salon, it is so beautiful, chic & sleek. You really leave there feeling like a million bucks! I refer everyone to her and they all leave feeling the same! P.S. there is parking at her salon too which makes life so much easier when going downtown!

I’ve been seeing Melissa O’Keefe for almost a year now and her work never disappoints! I have extremely thick, long hair that can be very difficult to handle - but Mel is a master at getting it to do what I ask for. The salon is always clean and cheery and their prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend all the way around.

Trish did an amazing job on my thin straight hair. She put layers in and touched up my balayage beautifully. I’m definitely going to be a regular of hers! Aside from the hair cut this salon has some of the best customer service I’ve experienced at a salon. 10/10.

I'm thrilled after a 5-star experience with HoMing for my women's haircut! I booked an appointment after seeing his profile on the salon website showcasing 30+ years of expertise and excellent communication skills... I was hoping to see someone who understood and could do a great job with asian hair specifically and he exceeded my expectations. I loved that he asked me what I was looking for, added his own suggestions based on my hair type, and did an amazing job on a stylish cut that let me keep length on my pin-straight thick hair while strategically adding in volume and airiness. The salon was super nice, very clean with extra COVID-precautions, and HoMing is a hair master. I highly recommend him!

Wow, I want to give 5++ stars to hair designer, Mr. HO MING WOO! I’ve been looking for a transparent, knowledgeable, and experienced hair stylist ever since I moved back to Seattle in 2016 and I’ve finally found one!!! Mr. Ho Ming was extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain EVERY process thoroughly. His attentional to detail and craftsmanship in cutting hair was beyond my expectations!!! Highly recommend!

What can I say that hasn’t been said! Salon Refine is fantastic! The Salon is beautiful, clean and modern but cozy. Absolutely love the vibe as I walk in, never felt intimidated… always warm welcoming faces greeting you. Kieu has been my hair stylist for a few years now, I usually walk in with pictures of what I want my hair to look like ( and some are just out there!). Whether it’s a cut, color or an updo that I want, Kieu takes the time to explains the process, what it’ll do to my hair and the maintenance. She is very knowledgeable, loves what she does and truly care about your hair-being. I always leave there loving my hair again and always get compliments.

Sebastian is the best! He took my hair from a box dyed mess to the best color combo I have ever had in my life! I can not sing his praises enough! In hind sight I did not tip him enough for the miracle he worked. :( Will definately see him again soon!
