I visited Megyn, referred by a friend. It was a great experience! She has her own private space that is clean and welcoming. Megyn is very comfortable to be around and easy to talk with. I sent tons of photos and was able to communicate by text prior to the appointment. After meeting me and seeing my hair, we went with a cut more suitable to myself and my lifestyle. I feel like she individualizes and cares greatly about her results! Going back to go shorter!

I cannot speak highly enough about Megyn! I have been seeing her for 3+ years because she makes all of my fantasy hair dreams a reality, but she has truly stepped up her game during COVID. I was very hesitant to get my hair done in COVID times, but Megyn has taken every precaution imaginable to keep both of us safe throughout the process. Even on days when I walk-in not quite sure what I want myself, she always has a fun color or hair style to consider. She’s the only person I trust to bleach asian hair in this town - spot on mixing the perfect tone for you while still looking out for the health of your hair. I started dying my hair green at 13 with a box of sugar free jello powder mix. 28 years later and I am still dying my hair green and blue and yellow and whatever combos I can dream up. I have been seeing Megyn for my hair cuts and color(bleach to white and then veggie dyes) for over 10 years. She is the absolute best. She is so kind and thoughtful. She listens and always has great suggestions. She is always energetic and excited to do hair. She never tries to talk me out of what crazy thing I can dream up. My hair has changed over the years I've been seeing her but she still works hard to make my hair color dreams possible even if it means bringing in new products or suggesting alternatives that still bring my ideas to life. I especially love the way she thinks through color placement with the hair cut and style. Her new salon space is a private sanctuary where you can relax, listen to whatever you want or read a book. It's much more peaceful and relaxing than a large salon with many people all blow drying, talking and pumping music all at once. Of course with Covid these days this also provides a safer experience. Megyn has an air purifier and always follows all the latest guidance to keep everyone safe while they get their hair done. I always leave feeling like a queen and my inner 13 year old is screaming!!

I've been going to Megyn for more than five years and was extremely excited to see her break out on her own in downtown Seattle! The salon space is private -just you and her - with free beverages and her extra attention to detail and color balancing that leave your hair healthy and shining. She has an air purifier, provides masks (if yours doesn't allow for back-of-head hair trimming, and the place is spotlessly clean. In pandemic times you want someone as meticulous about health as they are about your hair - Megyn's got your back on both fronts. Park in the garage diagonally across the street, the lot a block away, or even nab street parking if you are lucky.

Megyn is a creative genius. Megyn came highly recommended when I was desperate to find someone to fix a debacle of a hair cut in time for my grad school graduation. Megyn didn't just fix my hair, I walked away LOVING IT. She is a brilliant artist and hair is her canvas, her clay, honestly I think it's her muse too. She understands how to frame and highlight your natural beauty and helps you express your inner badass. Plus, she's just cool which is a fun added bonus. I'm so grateful she opened a her own studio which is exceptionally COVID ready. As a PA, safety is important to me since I'm in close contact with many vulnerable people. It's tastefully decorated (not cramped at all) and private, which further lowers any risk. Its nice to feel totally comfortable and relaxed while getting my hair done again! Megyn is hands down my favorite stylist ever. Love her!!!

Not only is she a literal goddess when it comes to accomplishing anything with hair, but she is also very personable and easy to interact with. She has gained my complete trust and admiration as my hair stylist. Lastly, she is 100% COVID-ready, her salon is always sanitized and she operates accordingly to COVID quidelines.
