Love this place! Liana is an amazing hair stylist for Asian thick coarse hair! I’ve been to so many hair salons in Seattle and LA and Japan that are expensive and never quite as good. Liana knows her stuff and gives you the best haircut that fits your face and style. The mother/daughter duo hair salon is the place to go in town!

Right off the bat I felt really comfortable, they told me how cute they thought I was and I expressed being afraid to get my hair cut at a salon I’d never visited before. They made me feel really comfortable and she walked me through the haircut as we went and got it to where I wanted it to be. They were both so kind and took care of me so well! Highly recommend!

I have full, straight, long, and thin Asian hair. I showed up with not a clear idea of what I was looking and was given great suggestions by Victoria. There was a bit of a wait though I had an appointment but it wasn’t a huge problem. My haircut took an hour and it looks great! I don’t think I have ever seen my hair look so good. She did some clean up work after styling and have my bangs more layers. I will definitely be coming back! Edit: I came back and it was quite busy. There was a few people waiting in the lobby and my haircut felt a bit rushed (10-15 min of cutting and 10 min on blow drying). I didn’t walk out feeling great about my hair. It seems that the quality of service depends on how booked the salon is.

I don't get my hair cut often but when I do I always come here. Liana is always nice and does a great job. She make it look like you didn't *just* get a haircut, which I like. The first time I went in there I just told her to make me look good, and she did. I recently moved to tacoma but I will still come get my hair cut here when I need to look my absolute best.

I got my second haircut at Liana's in the last 6 months. I absolutely love this place - both mother and daughter are so friendly! They really know what they're doing and gave me the cutest hair cuts both times. I also got my hair colored for the first time here - loved the caramel balayage! They understand what you're looking for, have neat ideas for what will look good and their execution is on point. Highly recommend and will be back! (Also very good value!)

They were so accommodating for same day appointment. Victoria did my hair and wow, I never had so many questions (it is a good thing). She took the time to see how I liked my hair after blow drying/stying and did some touch ups when it wasn't fully to my liking. First time here and it will not be the last! Be prepared to find parking since it is street parking only. Would highly recommend this place. Price is very decent!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel like I wanted to thank Liana somehow. I walked in with a head full of split ends to my first haircut in almost a year (I have long hair). Liana had me all cut and styled perfectly in 20 minutes. Not only was she fast, she was incredibly sweet and personal. I’ll definitely be coming back (this time, I won’t wait another year lol)

Vicky and liana were amazing! Made an appointment for a perm and when I got there did a consultation on my hair and I decided not to do it. They were so nice about looking out for me and helping me navigate what I wanted. Super friendly service and a nice and clean space. Price was well worth it. On time crunch, only in Seattle for the day need a last minute appt. they didn’t have availability, very understandable! I politely asked if they could refer me to another place in the area as I do not know it well. I completely understand if that’s not information they can share, but instead of saying no, their response was extremely rude…both stylists chimed in saying phrases including “you’re gonna have to do that yourself.” “I Don’t have time for that” and “go use google.” So here I am. Using google.

I cannot recommend Liana highly enough. I've been getting my hair cut here for years, and if I ever move away from Seattle, I would not hesitate to come back just for haircuts. I highly recommend getting an appointment, because it can get super busy, especially on Saturdays and after 4 on weekdays. Sometimes there's still a wait, even if you have an appointment, but it's all worth it for Liana's exceptional skills as a stylist. To top it all off, the prices are remarkably reasonable, especially for Capitol Hill.

I have been too Liana's twice so far. I've had both Liana and Victoria cut my hair. This is the place to go if you have Asian hair. At my first appointment, Liana gave me a perfect asymmetrical bob. My second visit I was feeling a major change and Victoria gave me a long bob with a side cut shave. Victoria also did a fantastic job of base bleaching my hair for a purple balayage. It looked amazing! Also, the prices here are super reasonable. Update: after many good experiences here, I had a negative experience where Liana did not show up to open her salon and forgot about my appointment.

I hadn't had a haircut a little over a year and half. My hair was a mess until I decided to visit Liana Hair Salon to get my hair trimmed. Salon atmosphere is very neat and nice. Victoria did a great job at trimming my hair and giving me consultation for the hair bleach+color I will be getting from her in near future. Highly recommend.

I adore this place. They are so friendly and GREAT at what they do. I've always requested Victoria since she did such a great job for my first visit, but I'm sure Liana is wonderful as well. I've been to a lot of salons and no one has ever done my hair exactly right, until Victoria. I barely even had to tell her what I wanted, she just knew what was right for my hair. I highly recommend.

This place is amazing! The owner is one of the best hair stylist I’ve ever met. She’s also very kind and amicable. I went in for just a perm but she gave me a clean fade and made sure I was taken care of. It’s also one of the more affordable places that I’ve been to in Cap Hill.

Awesome experience. I have thick, curly hair so I'm sometimes nervous about getting my hair cut. The ladies here are good at what they do. Victoria did a great job on my hair and made sure I liked everything she had done before moving on. She made me feel like a valuable customer.. and when it was time to pay, I was charged less than what I was quoted on the phone. Surprisingly cheap!!! I ended up giving a big tip because the price was ridiculously low. Definitely recommend this place!!

Victoria is miracle-worker! My hair gets very knotted and begins to dread on its own underneath the layers of my hair. After struggling to deal with it on my own, Victoria was super patient and used her magic to untangle it! She also fixed up my dead ends and added better layers to ease the thickness. My hair feels and looks amazing. I cannot recommend them enough 🙌🏼

Go for trims but not color Edit: now that I have visited a handful of times, I can probably speak more. This place is really nice for quick trims and haircuts. Shout-out to Victoria who's really sweet! (It's run by Liana and her daughter Victoria). The one time I went for coloring my hair the results were really underwhelming.

I love this Salon. I got a same day appointment with Victoria. I was planning to cut off a foot of hair and had hazy ideas (at best) for what I wanted. She was able to help me figure out what would look good and was so kind. I have thinner hair which makes it hard to cut in a way that looks good for more than a day. My haircut still looks amazing and has continued to have more volume and structure than I have ever had from a haircut. She also helped me find a good product when I asked her about it. This is an absolute gem. My husband got his hair cut the next day by her mother which looks amazing as well. I'm never going anywhere else!

I googled "best korean hair salon in Seattle" and this was the first place that came up. I later learned that this is not a korean hair salon. I went twice, once in 2018 (great price, good haircut) and another time less than a year later. The second time however, I got a terrible haircut, much shorter than I asked for. More more than 7 months later, I am still struggling to grow out this jagged haircut.

Really lovely experience. Last minute decision to get the nape of my neck shaved for an undercut, checked out some of the really popular salons in the area but all of them either didn't have time for a quick walk in or wanted to charge a ton. Called these guys, let me walk right in, did exactly want I wanted from a photo in less that 15 minutes and only charged me $10 without me having to ask. Also, for not being experienced in the style I was asking for, they were really good about not being condescending and making sure I got what I wanted. Left very happy!
