Very friendly lady. She speaks multiple languages and cuts hair pretty quickly. Best part is that it's pretty cheap for a haircut ($18 for males a couple weeks ago). However you must make an appointment ahead of time; the time slots fill up quickly so there are usually only appointments usually half a week to a week later after you call.

Amazing place for a haircut! Kim was fabulous in giving my long tresses a great cut which suits my face and overall look. Love how the prices are so reasonable for the Seattle area. Would highly recommend the salon if you're thinking of getting a new look or a trim.

Great place to get your hair cut in China Town. She does a great job all by herself. You need to make an appointment ahead of time, because that's how she does it. I always tip her well and appreciate the job she does. I get compliments on my haircut from others.

Kim is amazing at cutting hair, especially Asian hair. She is so fast, but also thorough and careful. I have LOVED my haircuts from her!! She's also really lovely to chat with. She's the best.

Kim is thoughtful and so skilled. I got my hair cut and permanently straightened and it is so soft and exactly what I wanted. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments so far! I will absolutely go back to her :) just schedule an appointment in advance as she tends to get booked very quickly! Getting a walk in will be difficult

Friendly, efficient, and professional service. Very skilled (her handling of my tricky hair is as good as my usual Japanese stylist’s). Incredibly reasonable prices — if you look at the price list, it’s only gone up a few dollars in the past 4 years. Yes, you seem to be allotted about 30 mins, but her efficiency and no-nonsense style mean she gets it done without compromise (and also that you don’t have to wait when when you get to your appointment). Cash only.

Kim is incredible. Super affordable cuts (and I've gotten perms from her). She's also fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese, I believe. Do book a week in advance or so and make note of which business days the salon is closed. I'll definitely continue being a regular.

Have haircut there for about 2 years now, Kim is awesome. She is very friendly. Her schedule is busy though, so better to call to make appointment ahead. The price is reasonable, $18 for men. Parking is a bit tough and have to pay because it is located in Chinatown. She speaks Cantonese so it is great for me as I grew up in Hong Kong.

Great haircut and great service, I called ahead of time to make an appointment and later they confirmed it again through text. When I went (the hair salon is on the 2nd floor btw, there is an entrance labeled and you walk up the stairs) he taped the mask to my face so he could cut the sides of my hair better. For reference, I usually get a pixie cut with longer bangs and it turned out great, he is very skilled. At the end of the cut he washed my hair and used a lint roller on my clothes so that I didn't have to go home and wash my hair again to get rid of the small cut hairs. It was $45 without tax and tip. Great experience, will definitely be back.

I've only been here once but it was a great experience! I wanted to try a short cut so I gave her some reference pictures and she cut it perfectly! I love my new hair. Definitely coming back once it grows out.

Professional and friendly service. My haircut was exactly what I desired. I found out later it was Kim herself that cut my hair. Would return again. No long wait even though there was one customer in front of me. She did not rush the other customer when I stepped in too. I appreciate that.

I've been going here for 5 years. I get complicated pixie cuts and she understands exactly what I want, even when I change it up. You'd think how fast she finishes a cut is a bad sign, but she knows what she is doing and has never given me a bad haircut ever. Lastly, the pricing is unheard of in this city and you all should tip her well. I plan to keep going here for as long as they are open.

Good experience. She knows how to cut Asian men hair. No fuss in describing what I want. Looking forward to get my haircut again but next time, I'll make sure to set an appointment. It felt like she was in a hurry when she gave me the haircut. Although, she did relaxed a bit after somebody rescheduled their appointment.

Kim does great work and is very personable. Call ahead and and she'll make sure your wait is minimum. I've never had a stylist pay more attention to detail than Kim. Highly recommend!

I've had horrible experience with other barbers who had little experience cutting Asian men's hair, so I decided to try this place a few years ago. They did a fantastic job, so I became a regular customer. I also enjoyed chatting with the barber. Bottom line: where else you could find a decent $13 haircut in Seattle theses days?
