I have been to Industry three times now and have loved it every time. I saw Christina twice for cut and all over color. As she is on maternity leave, my most recent appointment was with Janae for a cut and full foilyage. Christina and Janae are both wonderful stylists and lovely people. They have done an incredible job of listening and executing exactly what I want. And I mean EXACTLY. These folks are absolute experts in their field. What really makes Industry stand out for me, though, is the warmth of the atmosphere. I just feel good being there. The stylists all seem to like each other and have created a wonderful, welcoming vibe. I have been struggling with intense mental health issues as of late and was tempted to cancel my most recent appointment but decided to keep it. I am so glad I did. Janae was supportive and kind, and just made me feel so cared for. She made me feel human again. If you can afford to visit an upscale salon, I recommend it be Industry.

The best hair coloring result I have ever had! Kristina took the time to ask questions in order to understand what I wanted. She also explained the different coloring services to figure out which would be the best fit for the end result I had envisioned. She was a perfectionist in all the different stages of color application and did not rush any part of the appointment, which can be common for haircut/color appointments. Would highly recommend Kristina for all your blonde needs!

I had a great experience with Ellie, an associate stylist at Industry! She was so thoughtful about walking through options for my color and we ended up going with a darker brown color she recommended. It turned out great! She was very efficient with time, super kind, and naturally talented with hair.

OMG. Absolutely love this salon! I had the pleasure of a hair styling with Shelby, she took my ideas and made them look very modern and very fashion. Lovely, welcoming atmosphere and beautiful wall murals, also right off Broadway so super easy access as well. I will be coming back to see Shelby, she rocks! Thanks !

Yvitte and Ashlie were fantastic! I had a 3 month grown out blonde balayage that needed a touch up and some multi-dimension work. It is so hard to work with naturally dark thick hair, I was so impressed with how detail-oriented both were and ensuring I was in the know of what was happening and where my hair would go in it’s journey with them in the chair. I noticed there was a tiny sliver of my money-piece that needed to sit with toner for a bit longer, and both happily obliged in making sure the piece was lifted. I'm so glad Bernae was a stylist who helped me. I brought a few examples of what I'd like to do and Bernae made it even better than I expected. During the session we had a nice chat. I went howe with a new look and I felt like I discovered a new step for being a nicer person, thanks to Bernae. I never felt like I want to come back to the same stylist but Berane's attention to details, sense for what could work better on different types of hair and positive approach made me realize that I would definitely come back there.

I saw Ashlie at the salon and she did an amazing job!!! I've gotten so many compliments asking where I got my unique Rose Gold coloring done. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted and how I usually handled my hair so she could make the best recommendations. I had a ton of former dye in my hair so it took hours, but she was happy throughout and made sure I was comfortable with all that was happening. My friend also went to see Ashlie and had a great experience going pink as well.

I felt so safe at Industry Salon. They have a system where you text in, and they let you know when to come in. So there’s no waiting in a busy lobby, they screen their clientele ahead of time and had me wash my hands as I came in. Everyone was wearing masks and everything was so clean. I felt so safe coming here in this scary time! They have the best customer service and do such a wonderful job!

I just had the best salon experience of my life with Andy and Tyler. I still can't stop staring at my hair, I feel like a queen. Not only does my hair look amazing, I just had such an amazing time talking to Andy. He is so genuine and warm. I felt like a happy Sim when I walked into the salon and got a +10 boost from the adorable ambiance. The color is quality and I want it to last as long as possible because of the price, but at the same time I can't wait to come back!

My balayage was way too blonde and terribly streaky. I showed them a reference photo of my own hair from 10 months prior, and wound up with the wrong tone and blocky highlights rather than a balayage. I went in to get it redone, and it still didn’t fix the damage. It is particularly noticeable when I pull my hair into a ponytail (even my Dad has commented on how streaky it is), which is a major problem, because I run or go to the gym every day. EDIT: the darker brunette photo was the reference. You can see the streakiness in the race photo.

First time I’ve enjoyed going to a Salon in Seattle in the past 5 years. Everyone was very friendly and the space is really nice. Very relaxing. My stylist was great (Thomas). Love my haircut. It’s Kinda expensive but unfortunately all haircuts are expensive in seattle.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a fix to your brassy balayage! Have been to several salons since I started coloring (lightening) my hair a few years ago, and have now had several wonderful sessions with Ashlie. Was recommended by a long-time client of another hairdresser here. It is clear in the care they take, and team-atmosphere that this salon takes their work seriously, and the hairstylists enjoy their job. Thanks, Industry!

I have fine, thinning, color treated hair (from a different salon). I wanted to restore my hair health, and get extensions. Ashlie made spot on recommendations, and was honest about what my hair could handle at the time. We wound up doing some strengthening treatments and cuts/styles at first. It’s been a year and a half since my first visit and my hair is the healthiest it’s been since I was 15. Root to ends, my hair shines and is stronger. Ashlie also recommended quality extensions, ordered, and installed them. It didn’t hurt at all. Now I have these beautiful, long chocolate extensions - and I love them. I consider Ashlie my partner in managing the health and look of my hair. If you are in the market for a new stylist that you can trust, Ashlie’s your girl. Book in advance, and prebook before you leave the salon because she gets booked out pretty far especially now that covid is winding down a bit.

I’ve been seeing Rose for 7+ years and she’s been at Industry salon for the last several. Moving salons was scary but Industry has gone above and beyond! The salon is always cleanly (and super fashionable). The staff always kind. Even through COVID closures they’ve done a great job at being transparent about their practices and how they’d keep their customers and staff safe. They’ve been sticking to strict sanitation protocol and I feel very comfortable continuing to get my hair done here monthly. Bonus points: As a nonbinary person they’ve done a really great job staying on top of my pronouns. Industry gets 5 stars from me and Rose gets an extra star for keeping this blonde bright and platinum for years!!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Rochelle for over 5 years. She is a hair genius and always knows exactly what I want (even when I give her little to no description). I have incredibly thick, dry hair and spent years trying to find a stylist before coming to her. Everyone in the salon is equally talented and I would trust any of the stylists. As a physician, I am equally impressed with the care Rochelle and her staff have taken during the COVID pandemic to keep themselves and clients safe. Everyone is wearing a mask, they limit the number of people in the salon at any given time, and they make sure to clean everything, constantly.

I’ve been going to Clarissa and Industry Salon for a few years now and can attest that both her and the Salon are amazing. She made me feel so comfortable the first time I got a balayage and helps me to find the best colors for my skin tone and the season. I recently went for a long overdue cut and color after months of Covid hair, and the whole appointment, from booking to paying after the services, was both seamless and efficient. When I arrived, I texted and waited outside until Clarissa was ready. Only a few chairs in the salon were being used at any given time, wiped down after each client, and spaced far apart. All clients and stylists were wearing masks. At the end of the appointment, the salon sends an invoice to your email so you can promptly leave and not have close contact with any other person in the salon trying to pay. Overall, a great experience in this new normal and I’m so incredibly happy with my new post quarantine hair!

I absolutely LOVE Industry Salon, and Clarissa is hands down the best. I was definitely nervous to go back during COVID times, but felt I was in such good hands because first, they decided to wait a good amount of time to reopen after salons were given permission after the Stay Home order lifted and second, they are such a clean salon already that I knew they would take all protocols seriously. They definitely did not disappoint on the cleanliness or the service. Clarissa ALWAYS gets my hair right (I usually get a hair cut, foilyage and toner). 10/10 recommend Industry and I’m confident that any stylist there would do amazing work.

Love this salon! Super cute interior, friendly stylists and Covid precautions in place. Ashlie is a miracle worker! She installed extensions for my wedding in April and they look amazing. This is probably the first time I’ve had extensions that don’t trash my hair. She also does a beautiful job with color (especially blondes!). It has been taken me SO long to find a salon and stylist in Seattle that understands what I want and I’m so happy to have found Industry and Ashlie. Highly reccomend!

Danielle was amazing! I came in at the last minute to fix my hair color right before my wedding (no pressure right?!). She didn't miss a beat and had a great consultation with me and helped me to truly figure out exactly what I wanted. We ended up removing some of the red that was mistakenly added at another salon and she toned it back towards my natural color perfectly. She had a great attitude and I loved that she checked in with her fellow stylists for advice- I felt like a dream team effort to give me perfect wedding-ready hair! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back- they are awesome! My wedding was perfect and I felt like a princess :-)

I scheduled time with Bernae, and they were INCREDIBLE. They updated my balayage so it wasn't as bottom heavy after a long period of grow out (thanks pandemic). They also added some silvery violet in as highlights. Everything was blended excellently and the final result was gorgeous. They also were quick yet detail oriented while cutting my hair. They are clearly a master of their art - both coloring and cutting. On top of it, their presence was wonderfully calm and patient (even after I was late to my appointment). They also gave me honest insights into hair care product options, and understood my desire for low maintenance. I love, love, LOVE my hair. I'll be a repeat client for as long as possible. I have been coming to Industry Salon for two years now. I was searching for a blonde specialist and came across this salon on Instagram. All of their stylist are great, I personally see Ashlie Caster (@the.blonde.edits). She's great about answering questions and quick to help for those like me who are curious and don't know much about hair at all. Especially blonde. She's been able to work with me on keeping a beautiful platinum color on my personal budget by suggesting an affordable "hair plan", as I call it, by suggesting certain services that they offer that can extend the length of time between services and still look great! Highly recommend!

I just moved to the Seattle area about a year ago and had no idea where to find a new stylist. I was recommended to Kate by a friend, and I am so happy I was able to get an appointment with her! She is very kind, personable, and made sure to check with me every step of the way while she was working with my hair. She took her time, and once we got the final result was so enthusiastic about how it turned out! It made me even more excited about how it looked (I was already ecstatic btw). She also set me up with some products I was in desperate need of for my newly dyed hair. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Kate because she does amazing work! With one visit I was made a regular! Rochelle runs a great, clean salon. They have you fill out a survey via text before entering the salon. Then they have you wash your hands upon arrival, and everyone is wearing masks. The salon is always clean and orderly and I’ve always felt good there, and even more so now. On top of all this, my hair cut is always what I need. I have thick hair with a lot of volume and Rochelle always gives me a great cut. I’ve had vibrant color for a couple years but recently went back to brown and Rochelle executed the transition perfectly. Love it.

This has been my go-to salon in Seattle for the past 2.5 years — regardless of what I ask for, they always NAIL the style I want. The stylists there are so warm and welcoming, and they’re incredibly transparent about what you can and can’t reasonably achieve in one session with your hair. Ashlie really understands how to cut and color my stubborn Asian hair, and I leave with a killer cut and/or balayage every time. On top of everything, their COVID safety measures they put in place really made me feel at ease during my most recent visit to the salon.

Incredible experience getting my hair done at Industry. The protocol they have in place because of COVID made me feel so safe! Everyone is wearing a mask inside and keeping their distance. Upon arrival you let the salon know and wash your hands before sitting down. Aside from the salon being safe and making me feel that way the stylists are so good! GISSELLE, stylist turned to friend. This girl has literally made my dream hair come true. I came to Industry wanting for a change after getting my hair done at a salon that wasn’t experienced with vivid colors on Asian hair. I had a red box dye on some of my hair but I was able to reach my dream hair after two hair appointments. I went peach first and she did so great on them I never thought I would love the idea of peach colored hair. The salon itself is super clean and modern and I always feel welcome here! Today was the first time I’ve been back since Covid hit and was SO EXCITED to see Ashlie to bring some life back into this hair after 7 months! It was the boost I needed. Not only does my hair look great and feel healthier, but I feel more connected back to my spirit and feel more rejuvenated for the rest of the 2020 ride 😜 On top of just a great cut and color, I really appreciated the clear and simple correspondence from Industry- both in general and during COVID. The emails about their COVID process provided clear directions about what to expect- and as always- they’re online scheduler made it easy for me to get in quickly within a few weeks. When I arrived, I could tell they put a lot of though into the safety process as I had to wait outside until Ashlie was ready, was asked screening questions, while everyone who entered wore masks. The stylists seemed to occupy every other chair so you weren’t too close to others. The windows were open so nice to have fresh air flowing. The touchless check out was nice and easy as well!

This is by far one of the best Salons that I’ve ever come across!!! Every individual stylist is so perfect and unique in their own special way and they take care of their clients so well! My stylist, Danielle, that I’ve been going to for 3 sessions now, has treated me so wonderfully and gone out of her way to make me feel so appreciated and feel so beautiful after every session. Each time I have an appointment scheduled in, I’m always so excited to come in and see everyone! The vibes are so welcoming and warm and so positive and upbeat that I don’t feel like any other salon has out there! You guys are FANTASTIC!! I hope more people check this place out! They all work so hard and are so talented!!

I've been to Industry Salon a couple of times and have always come out with a great haircut. The staff is very friendly and accommodative of your needs. I love how they always have a suggestion on how you can improve your hair care routine. They're following COVID guidelines of social distancing as well by limiting the number of people who can be in at a time. You have to wear your masks at all time while getting a haircut.

Awesome salon! I started coming during COVID, as I was pleased by their safety policies. They explained that their stations are distanced with only 7 guests permitted at a time, that the salon is sanitized regularly throughout the day, that everyone is required to wear masks, and that staff change their aprons between clients. I’d prefer a bit more ventilation and was disappointed to see one client get away with putting the mask below their nose, but overall great experience.

I just moved to the area and decided to take a look at what salons were near me. My hair needed some serious help after over processing and a weird toner incident that took only to my roots and my ends lol. Yeah...I was borderline desperate. They were super responsive and able to get me in 2 DAYS LATER! The salon is clean, cozy and everyone is so friendly. I was also impressed by the measures they take to help protect everyone from Covid as the last salon I went to wasn’t as cautious. Lastly, my hair looks amazing!!!! Ashlie was able to lighten some of the last bit of the nightmare box dye I put in and my hair is much more manageable. I will be back fo sho. Thank you!!!

This salon is phenomenal! If you want to feel safe during covid times and come out lookin’ like a dime , this is where you need to go. The staff take every precaution to sanitize the stations frequently , space clients appropriately , and enforce the mask policy. Megan saved me from my quarantine roots and turned my messy pink hair into a gorgeous cool blonde. Cannot recommend this salon and it’s stylists enough!!!

UPDATE: After writing my initial review the salon owner reached out to me and scheduled me for a complimentary appointment. I booked with Giselle and she was very friendly and did a nice job on my hair. I wanted to add on the volumizing treatment they have, but they were out of stock of it which was a bummer. They are renovating the salon and it looks really cute! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am new to the area of Seattle and in need of a new salon and stylist. I spent a lot of time researching salons in the area, looking at stylists work online, etc. I decided to give Industry a try. I called to make an appointment and no one answered. The voicemail recording on their phone line specifically says not to leave a message and to text instead. I texted the number and provided my name and the stylist I wanted to book with. I sent a picture of my hair currently, as well as another picture of me from about a year ago explaining that is the color and cut I would like to go back to. The person managing the text line told me what services I would need to book, and provided pricing and availability when I asked. I responded back saying thank you, and confirmed my choice of appointment time from the options I was given. Flash forward to the day of my appointment. I arrive to the salon ten minutes early for my 8am time, and it is dark inside and locked. I sit and wait for about thirty minutes and no one shows up. I called the phone number multiple times to no avail. I tried texting multiple times and never received a response. There was a sign on the door with their hours which indicates that they don't open until 9am, however on google, etc it says they open at 8am. Again, the 8am appointment was offered to me by the person running the text line. I go home and try to call the salon three times over the course of the day. No one answered the phone or ever responded to my text messages asking what was going on. The next day I messaged the stylist on Instagram to find out what happened. She apologized and told me she talked to the owner, and they would be reaching out to me. It's been almost a week now and I've heard nothing from anyone. I am absolutely floored that someone would run a business like this.

This review is an edit to a previous 1-star review. The stylist saw my review that implied I wasn't quite happy with my cut and personally reached out to apologize. They offered a complimentary adjustment to remedy the situation, which showed their professionalism as a business and concern for the satisfaction of their clients. I'd have to say the products used on my hair and the people at this salon were all very nice and I would definitely give them another chance if I lived closer.

I got a haircut with Sasha and wanted to try out bangs. She was really helpful in discussing pros and cons of different styles and also explained the different types of coloring/highlights I could try. She gave me layers and side swept bangs. The next day I decided I wanted fringe bangs instead and I was able to come back and have her change them free of charge thanks to their "free bang trim" policy. This was a great service and one I will definitely return for in the near future!

This place has been my usual salon for the past year now. I ve had bleached + vivid colours (green, purple, blue etc) since I was 16 so I'm picky about salon quality. It's easy to book online and all their stylists are familiar with vivid/mermaid colours so you can't go wrong with any of them.

Was recommended this salon by multiple people and wow I was not dissapointed. I had the super talented Clarissa blend out a 2 year old balyage, that really wasnt great to begin with. But she made it so you could never tell! I was really worried I was going to leave with orange roots and blonde ends but Clarissa is clearly very talented and skilled! Highly recommend if you are looking for any color service, especially if you want bright ashy-blonde or silver hair that is really well blended! The salon itself is super cute and everyone there was friendly. But I would honestly see Clarissa again even if she worked in a garbage dump, because this is the best my hair has ever looked on the first bleaching treatment. Worth every penny. I can't wait to go back.

I found Industry Salon on a search of top hair salons in Seattle and I am so happy I decided to give them a chance. I wasn't happy with my hair because of a previous bad experience at a different salon and the moment I walked in Rochelle (owner) immediately made me feel welcomed and relaxed, she listened to my story and suggested the perfect stylist for me, Dani Garka, another great listener with incredible skills and intuition that performed pure magic on my hair. Totally badass rockstar. I fell in love with them and the space and you should too :)

I wish I could give them 10 stars. I got a haircut from Mariam and loved it. I've never loved a haircut so much. She was super friendly and REALLY listened to what I wanted. Also for a wash, cut, blow dry, and then hair curled to only be 35$ I was amazed. Mariam was great. She's only a level 1 stylist because she hasn't been out of school for too long, but she still has an amazing skill set.

I had gone to a few salons to consult on doing a service to turn my hair silver. (Especially since it is so trendy right now, I want to use what I got!) It seemed like I was asking for the impossible! The excuses I heard and I tend to think it was because there was considerable color lift that had to happen. I consulted with Jaycyl and I I knew I found the stylist! So yesterday I spent the afternoon with her expertise, she was the one to fulfill my hair dreams. Especially if you have heavy duty color needs, I would trust -- even Meghan Markle would trust -- Jaycyl to do her hair. By the way, I did not get paid to write this review. She earned it fair and square. :)

This is probably the happiest I've been with my hair in my life. Sasha (aka sasha_the_stylist on insta) is like an artist. She somehow sensed that what I really wanted when I said color was grogeous pinks and sexy purple. She does it amazingly so it's low maintenance...it's a lot of under pieces mixed with my regular hair so I can grow it a month or two and still look fab! I sent my friend here after she was quoted over $1000 at another salon to lighten her hair and make it silver. Industry's prices are great and they are happy to share discounts and don't pile on the add-ons. They are genuinely passionate about their products, but they don't hard sell. I'm so happy, and it is close to my house! I'm living my hair dream, haha. Thank you guys!

Good staff that can either chat or not depending on your preference. Dani always remembers my preference even after I only saw her for a bang trim the first visit. It's easy to book appointments online and they can do a free 15 minute bang trim.
