I’ve been seeing Hana for years now. She always knows how to take my ideas and turn them into something perfect for my face and style. The salon is super cute and there’s a cozy space to wait if you show up early. I would recommend high post to anyone looking for a new stylist… and I have. High Post is the official salon of my friend group!

I’ve been to a few different hairstylists in Seattle since I moved here 4 years ago, and was not really settled on one until a friend (whose hair I was constantly admiring) recommended High Post. I have been going to Hana for the last year and a half and she is absolutely incredible. Every time I go, she takes the time to really listen to my hair concerns, my aspirations, “vibes” I’m thinking about, etc. She thoughtfully applies her experience and knowledge to help set realistic expectations (yes, I love the way influencer x’s hair looks…no, I won’t emerge looking exactly like her…lol), and I often ask for her to weigh in on length and color based on my specific hair texture and skin tones. Bottom line is I always walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. I highly recommend Hana!! Bonus, the space itself is very welcoming and calming :)

Allegra is my hair stylist, she and her business partner offer a no nonsense service from cuts to hair coloring. They also support local artists in their offerings. They have pivoted to address covid 19 safety and health needs. They are now getting their regulars back in. There will be a wait for new clients but it will be worth the wait!

I love the products they use and how they play up your best features. They are both invested to do what's best for your hair without over indulging. Consistently great experience at High Post. Allegra has been cutting/coloring my hair for 5 or so years, and I am always thrilled with the results (and frequently get compliments on both cut and color). Bonus is that we have relaxed, interesting conversations while I'm in the chair, and she and Hana run their business with a clear and inspired vision. Highly recommended.
