I had a wonderful experience with Jacque. She is talented, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. She also shows a great deal of integrity in her work -- she took the time to make sure my hair came out exactly how I wanted it to look, even though I wasn't even sure what I wanted at first. Since reopening, the salon has taken a number of safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and I was impressed by their efforts to keep the space clean and safe for everyone. Highly recommend this salon, and specifically Jacque!

Went here for a trim. The owner/hairstylist made suggestions (that fits my face shape) before cutting each part of my hair and made sure I like the length. She also taught me how to style my hair every morning and I love how my hair turned out! Definitely recommend this place!

Love my haircut. Anne is really fun too! She listens and is very customer focused. I appreciate her offer to adjust anything within my first week trying out the cut. Price is right too!!

Good service, Covid-safe salon. They offer free adjustments if you go back within a week, which is reassuring. They are still requiring masks (Anne and Jacque were wearing KN95's), and have a little air purifier running. When they had a Covid exposure, they called to cancel my appointment, and then rescheduled me quickly.

I have been seeing Jacque for six years now, and she always does a fantastic job. She is friendly, kind, and a truly skilled hair technician. I recommend her to anyone who needs a new hair stylist. Anne also does great work, you can't go wrong with Hair Dot Comb!

Best haircuts are found here. Always schedule your next haircut/appointment immediately after the one you just had. Last minute bookings are almost never successful as Anne and Jacque are generally booked up way in advance; yes, they are that good!

Bernae was so helpful and informative! It my first time cutting my hair after I had grown it out out so I didn't really know what I wanted from it, but she was so thoughtful in asking specific questions of how I wanted my hair to be, what I usually did with it, things like that. She showed me what my hair could do at this length, and I really liked the results. Will definitely be back again!

Got a lovely haircut from Bernae here over 4 months ago...still getting compliments on my hair today! She was so sweet and eager to find a style that would work for me and was also honest about what wouldn't work with my type of hair (thin, borderline balding). I don't think I've ever had a more enjoyable experience at a hair salon before! I'm so sad that I moved away from Seattle because now it's time for another trim and I know I won't find someone as amazing as her anywhere else!

I went here sometime last week for a haircut. The whole experience was quite odd. The stylist I got was Misty for a walk in. At first she was kind of condescending and treated me like I didn’t know what I wanted. She cut my hair the way that she thought would look good and told me that she wasn’t going to cut my hair the way I wanted. The haircut itself is decent... I asked for layers and the bottom-most layer was left bluntly cut, which kind of sucks. As soon as the cut was done, she treated me kindly, not sure what happened but, at least we ended on a goodish note? I don’t think I’ll be back here for a haircut.

Amazing experience. I am super picky about my hair, and Misty got it just right. She took her time, and made sure the layering I asked for was perfect. My hair looked exactly like the picture I showed her, which almost never happens. Will absolutely be going to her for my styling and layering from now on!

Bernae gave me an awesome face-framing/layered haircut a couple of weeks ago! This was one of the rare times I spent more than $15 for a haircut and I felt like the extra money was worth it. They made me feel really heard and listened to what I wanted, while also offering some of her own ideas. They also took some extra time to give me detailed styling tips :) After having blunt bangs and a fairly one-length cut for almost a year, it's nice to try something new! I'm still getting used to the piecey bangs hehe Edit: Bernae is now at Industry Salon in Capitol Hill so go visit them over there!

I've been going to this place for half year. My stylist is very concerned about exactly what I want my hair to be, he spent 15 min just to ask and map out my hair, then spent 45 min to deliver the perfect haircut. I'm very impressed and satisfied.
