I had a haircut with Laura and had an amazing experience. I’m on vacation and truly sad I cannot come back but so grateful she had time in her book. She listened and worked so well with me to get the look I wanted I cannot recommend her enough! The atmosphere of the entire salon was amazing, I’m sure all the stylists would give similar experiences

Kristina is amazing at haircuts. She is nice, skilled, and professional. I have wavy, frizzy hair and I was very happy with the asymmetrical bob that she cut. I also really like the new Fringe location. Easier to park now! :)

I’ve been seeing the stylist Shylo for about a year now and she always cuts my hair exactly how I describe I want it. I have thick, long, and wavy to curly hair. She is very prompt with her appointments. 5/5 recommend. She is popular though, so make sure you make an appointment in advance! The new building makes it really hard to hear, but the extra space was really needed. The salon offers complimentary drinks - coffee, water, soda, etc.

I got balayage and keratin treatment with gabe and HE ABSOLUTELY Killed it. It was amazing and exactly what I wanted if not better!!!! 11/10 happy with it. I also got a haircut with James and Im not sure if I didn’t drill it in enough or if I should’ve watched him like a hawk and made him show the amount he’s chopping off right before he snipped but I told him I want to keep it longer side and add textured ends but he just did his own thing and cut my hair extremely short and thinned it out a lot. :/ pretty sad because I mean there is no way to “fix it” since I didn’t want it this short to begin with. I just got the balayage and keratin treatment too so it’s sort of a waste! It’s a beautiful haircut just not what I wanted or right for my extremely wavy/frizz prone hair.

Rachel was amazing! I went in with a vague notion of what I wanted and she more than delivered! Plus she was great at reading the room and she didn't force me to do small talk! She let me sit in comfortable silence with her. It was very appreciated and made my experience so easy.

Jazmine did a super last minute color correction on me for a reasonable price (less than a different salon quoted me!). I walked in the salon with messed up home dye jobs mixed with a few inches of grown-out roots (not an easy fix!) and walked out with the warm reddish brown I was hoping for! Jazmine was fast, kind, and communicated with me about each step of the process. It was such a great experience and the new location is beautiful. I will be back in a month to get it touched up :) Thank you Jazmine!!

I did not get a "bad" hair cut but I did not get what was requested/promised. For what you end up paying for color + styling + tip, clients are hoping to rely on the experts to execute the vision. The cut ended up about 4 inches shorter than originally agreed. It was first cut to the desired length but got A LOT shorter as the stylist detailed at the end to get the style closer to the desired effect. To the stylist's credit, they put in a lot of heart towards detailing it so it looked infinitely better but could have been achieved at a longer length. Secondly, after sleeping on it, the coloring of the balayage came out somewhat vague or muddied to the point where it looks more random than professionally done. The colorist assured me at the time they understood the intent of the reference images were provided. Again, for what you will be paying at this salon and the clout, the delivery should have been there.

She is a gifted hair sculptress....she gave me exactly what I wanted, she is intuitive and senses what you're looking for, asked the right questions, and delivered. I've been lucky enough to get my hair done at this location twice now. Both times I was incredibly impressed by the professionalism the decor and The talented team of stylists. It seems everyone has their own specialty and they can make almost anything happen. I highly recommend!

This was my first haircut since Covid, and Fringe/Laura both exceeded my expectations. Fringe was wonderful at rescheduling my appointment due to snow. They have implemented Covid protocols - masks at entry, hand sanitizer at entry, and lower capacity; these precautions definitely made me feel more comfortable (thank you!). This was my first haircut with Laura and she delivered. She listened to what I was looking and worked her magic. Also, whatever shampoo/conditioner she used on my hair made it noticeably shinier and softer. I would definitely recommend seeing Laura for your hair needs!

Without a doubt, Christina is my favorite colorist in Seattle. She is very detail-oriented and talented. Every single time I have gotten my hair done by her, my expectations were not only met but exceeded. Although she has a limited schedule, booking her is so worth it if you have weekday availability. Highly recommend getting a balayage and/or foils from her!

I had a late evening appointment. They were very professional taking Covid 19 precautions and making all customers wear fresh masks which they provided. The hair stylist was a perfectionist, which is an excellent trait when giving a hair cut. She made any adjustments I asked for and my hair looked exactly how I hoped it would. It was a little expensive, but on park with Seattle.

New location on the other side of Greenlake. Overall, nice experience. Free parking validation for the first 90 minutes. Staff were friendly, beverages are still being offered and prices have remained the same as before.

I've been seeing Kassie here for about a year now and thought it was time to write a review. I am so happy to have found a salon in my neighborhood with a stylist/colorist who knows what I like and does a fantastic job every time! The scheduling is easy and I always enjoy going for a walk around Green Lake afterwards as an added bonus (and show off my refreshed hair). I also just got a hair cut from Laura for the first time and she did an amazing job. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for stylists that are interested in getting to know you and your hair!

I had a fantastic haircut with James. Even though my explanation of the cut I was after was uh, less than eloquent, James understood what I was trying to express and absolutely nailed the long layers style I wanted. He was so careful and attentive to the haircut, and I felt I could relax and trust my hair was in good hands -- and it was! I walked out of Fringe so, so much happier with my hair!

I've been seeing Christina for my balayage for about a year now and she does amazing work! I recently tried the express keratin treatment from her and my hair feels amazing! Styling has been cut in half since the treatment. I suggest if you have fly aways and frizz to try the keratin, you wont be disappointed!

The fringe hair salon is hands down the best salon I have ever been to! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere comfortable. Jaylin does my color and balayage and it always turns out amazing! I love my haircuts there as well. I haven't had the same person each time, but I have never had a bad cut there and left happy every time!

Jazmine and Shylo have been doing my hair for some timethey actually do the hair of three of my best friends as well. I have NEVER had so many compliments on my hair as with the cut and color I get from them. People have stopped me in airports and restaurants and at the grocery store--and more to the point: The doo I am sporting really feels like...ME. I like feeling at home in my hair.

James (cut) and Jaylin (color) are amazing! He is so precise and detail oriented. The best hair cut I’ve ever had, so I’ve been going to him for a few years now. My hair is fine and thick, so it’s not forgiving with layers. James is able to shape my hair and cut layers that flow seamlessly. Jaylin “fixed” a bad dye job I had initially and has been doing my balayage ever since. The grow out is natural and I always get complements. She is an artist and very talented. I’ve recommended both of them to several friends now!

I’ve been going to Shylo for my haircuts for years and will continue do so as long as she’s cutting hair. She listens to my ideas, provides her opinion and we always work together to figure out the perfect haircut for that appointment. Shylo is a wonderful stylist, and is also kind, funny and easy to talk to - my appointment time just seems to fly by and before I know it she’s done!
