I have 3B curly hair and don't trust anyone to cut my hair. When I read all the stylists here are trained to cut curly hair I decided to try it. Miyoko did an amazing job cutting my hair. She listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. They really know what they're doing when it comes to curly hair -from the way they do the cut to they way they style it after. They had me flip my hair upside down and diffused it, which is exactly how I would style it at home and really made me feel like I'm at the right place for curls! Also it was a super laid back environment, with friendly and knowledgeable stylists.

I came in with really damaged hair from a horrible bleach job from another location. They restored my hair, sent me home with quality products, fresh hair cut, and suggested a curly hair consultation if I wanted in the future! I am Caribbean and Miguel made sure I left feeling and looking good. Leave 2-3 hours for an appointment because they will make sure to treat damaged hair under heat and they go through strand by strand of hair. They will make sure you leave with healthy hair. The entire salon staff works their butts off and free time they spend asking questions and learning about other types of hair so they can be more well rounded in their careers. I never seen a salon so professional. Don’t judge the outside location(appearance) they use high end quality products and very professional!!

Such an amazing place! Love the environment and energy that they create. The staff are so sweet, amazing conversations. I got a haircut from Miguel, and he is amazing. I have type 4 curls for reference, and he gave me tips on how to style showed me new products. And it was my first ever curly cut, and I left with such a big smile on my face.

I had to wait a few months for an appointment for a fashion color, but it was seriously so worth it. I've worked with so many stylists and I've been to so many salons, but this place is out of this world- literally. On the outside, you wouldn't know there's a retro intergalactic hair studio, but there is. Everyone is super chill, they talk to you, play awesome movies like pineapple express and it's really interactive and fun. I have never had so much fun sitting in a chair for 6 hours. The art 🎨 is phenomenal and inspiring. And that's just the decor, the stylists themselves were booked solid- all 4 of them. Each client left with amazing hair (I was there for 7 hours so I saw everyone's hair). The attention to detail for each person was touching. But let me boast about my "do" for a moment.... I get Rainbow hair done yearly and have for over 11 years. I used to pay a lot of money to go to the best stylists in Los Angeles for my rainbow hair- so I've had a lot of styles done. This time I got a mix between galaxy and mermaid Rainbow hair and I love the versatility with what I can do with it. I am really satisfied with how vibrant the colors were even without a full bleach. It has been a whole month since I had my hair done and the colors are still as vibrant as the day I got them done. (See pictures I took right now). I am so sold on this salon and will be back. I am grateful for my stylists and I hope you pay them a visit as well. Cause seriously, if it isn't for the hair, it should be for the d@mn good time.

I got the best haircut of my life with Miguel. I've been wanting to try something a little different and do a side shave but I wasn't sure if it would work with my face shape and hair texture. Miguel went through my Pinterest board with me and pulled together a cut that works. He was honest about what he thought I didn't need to do, and he was right. We didn't have time to do the color that day, so he had me come back for the color, as well as a touch up on the cut and a lesson in how to style it. I have never loved my hair more - and if you have curly hair you know that's a big deal. Go see Miguel!

If you have any kind of texture to your hair- waves, curls, coils, this is your spot! I've never had anyone know how to cut my curls so perfectly! Dennis cuts my hair how it wants to be cut, and it's great every time! Laid back, cool vibe, non pretentious place to get your hair done. Don't expect a champagne toast, caviar, and a everything is perfect, prim and proper type of place. But do expect genuinely nice, down to earth people, that are great at what they do!

I am so happy to have found a place that specializes in fantasy colors. Mahaira is a magician. I asked for a coral pink balayage and got exactly what I wanted. Had a great experience over all. The last salon I went to when I asked for this color made my hair bright traffic cone orange. With this, you actually see a depth of color.
