Today was my second ever visit to fix, the first being a year and a half ago since I rarely get my hair cut. I came in today for a long haircut with Rhiannon and I had such an amazing experience! Not only did Rhiannon do an amazing job on my hair, she made sure she knew what I wanted before we began cutting and told me she was going to dry my (new) bangs and then I could tell her if I would like them shorter. The communication from her was great and she made me feel so comfortable. I was also sent an itemized receipt after I left which I really appreciated. Will absolutely be coming again!

Exo is fantastic. I’ve been seeing her for both cut and color for years, and she is hands down the best stylist I’ve worked with. I recently moved to the Seattle area and was feeling tentative about the idea of going to a new salon. Luckily I hit the jackpot on my first try when I got my hair cut with Lindsey! She was so knowledgeable and was great at making sure I got the haircut I wanted to end up with. I’m someone who is pretty low maintenance when it comes to doing my hair, and she took extra time during my appointment to show me different easy ways to blow dry my hair or style it. I definitely plan to recommend Lindsey to any of my friends looking for a new salon.

I've been going to Mandy for cuts for a little while and last time I was in she suggested highlights, so I booked an appointment with her suggestion, Lindsey. I had my appointment with Lindsey yesterday - I was nervous because I haven't had my hair colored in 10 or so years. I have naturally dirty blonde hair and just wanted to highlight some of the lighter parts around my face without getting super light or obviously highlighted. I prefer a really natural look and it can be hard to communicate that, but Lindsey was super attentive, she asked clarifying questions and kept me looped in at every step of the process. On top of that, she was delightful to spend 2 hours with! She's a lovely person and made what can be a really tedious experience enjoyable for me - I was giggling throughout the whole appointment. The results are also beautiful! I had nothing to be nervous about - my hair looks natural yet intentional and it's exactly what I was going for. 10/10 recommend Fix and, if you're going for color, I highly recommend going to Lindsey!

Been going to Fix Salon for a little over a year and I never leave disappointed. Rhiannon is my primary stylist and she is amazing. When I first started going to her my hair was in really really bad shape from bleach and home coloring. With her advice and attention to detail, my hair hasn’t been this healthy in the 10 years since I had my kids. Communication is on point and I always feel well taken care of. Lindsey is amazing! She lets you explain exactly what you want and checks with you through the process to make sure you get exactly what you desire. I asked for lots of fluffy layers and curtain bangs, and she cut it exactly how I envisioned. My hair looks just like a pinterest photo! Lexi brought life to my hair again!! I came in with very one-dimensional hair. Lexi was intentional about asking questions to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and the end result was spot on. In addition to her talent, my favorite thing about Lexi was how much she made sure I felt comfortable - she asked permission before moving my head around for a better angle, and she explained the "what" and "why" behind everything she was doing. I had an appointment Aurora for a trim today and I probably had too high of expectations for a trim. I asked Aurora for a 4-inch trim, I have long hair and two layers and curtain bangs. Firstly, she's very slow... I tried to give her the BOTD because I thought she was trying to pay extra attention to detail but it was painfully slow, I fell asleep and my body and neck felt very stiff. At the end, I asked for a blowout but that was mistake. She separated my hair into 7 layers to dry it layer by layer which took forever and it still didn't hold a curl... because my ends were too blunt. I asked to dry the rest myself towards the end. The ends of my hair weren't as thin as I wanted but I was not going to stay and ask her to thin it out more and wait another hour in that chair. I had already been there for 1.5 hours for a trim... I appreciate her patience to take her time cutting and blowdrying but her technique was not great. I tipped the standard 20% for the effort because maybe she's not used to Asian hair? Got home and realized my layers were super choppy, even my boyfriend was disappointed. For a salon called Fix, ironically, I'll need to get this fixed. 3 stars instead of 2 stars because I'll accept partial blame for not going to my usual stylist in Kirkland.

I went here for a blowout for the day of a wedding rehearsal. I informed Exo that I had very oily hair and to not use conditioner or too much product so hair wouldn’t be greasy the next day for the wedding. She didn’t use conditioner but sprayed my roots with some product which she said wasn’t going to make it greasy. This was at 2pm and by 6:30 my hair was gross. I also asked for lots of curls and she talked me out of tights curls and rather loose curls that fell out a few hours later. I also noticed when I was charged, I was charged for the blow out and then for using a curling iron as well. Overall I would say the value is not there for this salon. Drybar does not buckle and dime you for using a curling iron and listens to what you want as well.

Rhiannon and Lexi are my hair dream team! 🫶🏼 I’ve been seeing Rhiannon for 2 years and I am NEVER EVERRR disappointed with her work. I’ll admit, I’m indecisive/very open to color variation usually and my hair is long, curly and red. She’s always up for the task and she always kills it. I recently met Lexi for the first time and they were forthcoming on what exact treatment would be best for what I’m looking for vs what I thought I wanted going into the appointment. They taught me so much on the basics of hair care and were so patient with me through the whole multiple hour process. Being a color person for 10+ years, my hair has never felt healthier. She took her time cutting it, blow drying it and the going over it again when it was dry to blend out all the layers properly. Honestly it was a hair corrective. Danny did such a great job. Super professional and fun. The man knows his hair. Going blonds from red... not an easy task practically impossible. He made it happen. Cynthia is on the front lines at the front desk and she was super friendly and very helpful. Danny Pierce is the only stylist who has managed to give my husband an excellent haircut. My husband has super curly hair that has a mind of its own, and other stylists have struggled to give him a decent haircut, most resorting to a super short buzz cut. Danny was brilliant in his ability to work with my husband's crazy curls and multiple cow licks, giving him a great new look and finding the right products. Further, Danny explained what he was doing and made sure my husband could reproduce the look on his own. Danny is a genius!

I came in for a men's haircut from Danny Pierce. I walked in as a new customer who needed to do something new with their hair but had no idea what to do. Mind you - I'm a person who's a little picky when it comes to their hair. I met Danny, who back then was the owner of Just Be Salon - located in Champaign, IL, and he was ready for the challenge. The outcome - outstanding! I walked out feeling like I turned over a new leaf! However, this happened back in 2014; fast forward to the present, 2021, and you can see his initial haircut and how he styled it has stayed. I would highly recommend going to Danny to anyone who needs a men's haircut! Fun fact: I have traveled to Seattle a few times, and I contacted Danny to see if he was available to cut my hair! The outcome stayed the same - I loved it! Danny has a loyal customer because he provides outstanding work!

*The owner did reach out to ask for feedback and refund me for the color job I was unhappy with. I hope they improve more on their stylist to client interactions in the future when issues happen. I had a really bad experience here for a few reasons. Both at the fault of the receptionist and my stylist who were not diligent and extremely poor with their communication, and at the fault of the owner who did nothing to try to reach out to me and make me feel valued as a customer. I reached out asking for a bleach and tone on my hair since my roots are grown out, the receptionist asked me to send pictures, which I did. She told me that my hair look like it had been balayaged or only highlighted, which is false I told her I had a full blonding appointment and most of my head was bleached, minus my roots. She said okay and put me in with a consultation with Abbey. At this point there was definitely a miscommunication from the receptionist about my hair that confused Abbey. I went into my consult reiterating I wanted my roots completely redone and she okayed it without saying much else and trying to communicate what specific process she was thinking. I go into my appointment, and after a few foils I realize that she is doing partial foils and only highlighting my hair. I told her that's not what I wanted or asked for (which I have proof of in my emails with the salon) and she got extremely upset. She roughly washed the bleach out and used a random toner that was darker all over my hair which I did not okay. I asked for a lighter toner and now I have close to light brown toner in my hair which she did without asking me or having me okay at all. By the end of it she still charged me for the partial service, I was upset by her reaction and also I have been waiting to redo my hair a long time, I didn't have the energy to argue. The stylist completely mishandled the situation and I felt extremely bad leaving afterward about everything. They do ask for feedback after your appointment, I left it and was not contacted further about my experience, which the owner should have reached back out to me. Also, through my exchange with trying to make an appointment, I felt like I was being talked down to like I knew nothing about my hair, and while I'm not a hairstylist, I've been in several salons and know what my hair needs and the terminology for my specific dye job. TLDR: Feels like they don't care about client base, were extremely unprofessional, don't have adequate communication skills, the actual experience made me feel really bad , with the stylist charging me for what I didn't agree to, and how she put the random toner on me and was rough Other reviews also mention their lack of communication skills

My hair looks amazing and I felt so confident walking out of the salon. She is very knowledgeable and explains the whole process she will taking. I went ahead and made my next appointment!

I came in with a disappointing haircut from another salon in need of fixing, and Mattie turned it into a really cute look, despite the challenge of starting with an already pretty short and not-awesome cut. She was a good listener, gave me time to explain what I wanted, was patient with my fussing over every last detail, and took the time to make sure it was just right. She even talked through what seemed to have gone wrong with my last cut, so I could avoid it happening again. I'm so much happier with my hair now!

Ok, Fix is amazing. I went for the first time recently, wanting a drastic change. I have pretty thick, wavy hair that I typically flat iron, and it was super long. I had an awesome conversation with my hair dresser, Mattie, about wanting shoulder length hair with just the right amount of layering to not make my thick hair look like a triangle. Mattie could not have done a better job!! I love my new cut and I am so grateful to Fix and Mattie for the work they did. Also, they have a dope referral discount. Two thumbs up!

Pros and con-structive feedback: Some of cons are: Parking is hard to find. I walked out with dye on my face. Although I showed them a picture and specified, the stylist didn't ask enough questions. Because of that, I had to stop them throughout the service to address the assumptions they made. Even though I asked questions to clarify the outcome and tried to nudge in the right direction, I still walked out of the salon with color in my hair where I didn't want it to be and color missing in places where I did. Pros: The salon is clean and Covid precautions are in place. The color came out beautiful and vibrant. My hair looks healthy. The cut was decent and the price fair.

Best haircut I have ever received - twice! I have been getting my hair cut by Paige, and will be back for more. I went from shoulder-length hair to very very short hair, and she did it marvelously. And, it's the best grow out I've ever had on short hair, ever! Seriously! Usually short hair looks shaggy pretty quick, but Paige's work is so good that even when it grows a bit, the cut looks phenom!

Loved it here and got a wonderful color done here. Staff were really helpful meeting my needs, but did fail to inform me about the option to go full blonde over the phone, which is a very long and expensive process but something I was inquiring about and didnt get an answer for at all. I had to ask a lot of questions to my hairdresser for her to tell me about it. But then again it may have been my fault for not asking the right questions. I still got an absolutely amazing hair color job done. My hair was completely brown at the top and the photo is the end result.
