Catherine is THE BEST. Service that I got from her is excellent. She listened to my color needs and provided me with the best option. She fixed my dull hair color, I came out super happy and she did all her work very gently. I would strongly recommend this salon. One thing that I am taking from Seattle is my experience at Cedarhouse because the place has great great vibes and for sure the salon is worth visiting for its ambiance.

This location has been such a God-send. The people who work there are incredibly kind and talented. The space itself is lovely, and it has the only shampoo bowls that don't make my neck ache. Quick, efficient, and I come out looking amazing and feeling confident.

Catherine at CedarHouse was such a gem to work with. She really listened to what I was looking for and definitely delivered. I got there a little early for my cut and watched the end of her previous client's balayage, and let me tell you it was beautiful. Definitely going to her if I decide to change up my color. The salon is so gorgeous, and she decorated it all herself. It's a mid-century modern dream, complete with all the houseplants you're pining after on your Pinterest. I also got to meet Kit, a stylist at the salon that also assists for Catherine. He took these beautiful after photos and was so delightful. Overall the experience felt like catching up with friends, I was comfortable and felt like they really cared about me and my time. So happy to have found such an excellent hair stylist in Seattle!

I've been seeing Catherine for almost 2 years. She is a true gem and the best stylist I've worked with. I'd been flopping between stylists for the past decade; none I was truly happy with. Then I found Catherine. She had recently moved from SF to Seattle and was working at another salon. At my first appointment, I knew she was the stylist I'd been looking for. She looked at all my instagram reference photos, explained the differences between photos, and asked all the right questions so she understood what I really liked and wanted. Catherine is so talented, and super efficient. It used to take other stylists 7-8 hours in the chair to get balayage/tone+cut. With Catherine, I'm in and out in about 5 hours. You know that feeling you get after your appointment and you're not sure you're happy with it? Or worse, having to come in the next day/week to get cut or color adjusted? I never get that feeling with Catherine. I'm 1000% happy every-time. This year she opened her own salon and it's magical. It's got high ceilings, superb products, and is so darn pretty. I have gotten my hair cut and colored during COVID because I fully trust Catherine. It's clean and sanitized at every step. She takes the WA salon rules super seriously - I felt safer at her salon than I did at the doctor's office. Catherine, you're stuck with me. I'm never going to anyone else!

I went to CedarHouse and got a haircut from Kit. This place has really great vibes - it’s in an old apartment building and has classic charm, seasonal decor, and modern amenities. The owner was there and it’s obvious she’s really invested in the business she’s built. Kit did an awesome job on my hair! Quick consultation to get a sense for what I was looking for - really just a bob trim, but he recommended a few things to update my look. He styled my hair perfectly and it feels like a great cut! This place is definitely worth checking out. Kit did a great job and the other stylists seemed engaged and talented as well.

Cedarhouse Studio has a great atmosphere and even better stylists. I have been going to Kit for my haircuts for almost six years now; he started cutting my hair in Salt Lake and luckily enough he ended up moving to Seattle right after I did. I have always gotten an amazing cut from Kit and he is very knowledgeable about the products he uses and gives great insight on how to style your hair. I highly recommend coming here.

His passion for the craft is evident in the way he expands the clients knowledge of cuts and product really helps each of his guests between visits. Kit did such a great job on my blonde hair! He touched up my roots with some highlights, while maintaining the integrity of the rest of my hair (which is already blonde). It felt so soft and happy, it looked absolutely amazing! Highly recommend Kit.
