I ❤️ Apotheka! The co-owner, Robby, has been my stylist for years and I am beyond thrilled that he and fellow co-owner, Alexandra, have opened their own salon. Located in the historic Labour Temple in downtown Seattle, Apotheka is lovely, with a vibrant plant wall, tons of natural light, artistic touches, and an array of locally sourced beauty products and artisan jewelry you can shop. The stylists here truly believe that haircare is a form of self care, and this salon will leave you feeling rejuvenated in mind, body and spirit, with a gorgeous style to go along with your sense of wellbeing! I am always happy with my cut and color–Robby really listens to his clients and approaches each style from a place of collaboration. Thank you, Robby and Alexandra, for creating this amazing space!

Amazing salon, amazing staff, amazing vibes. Alex is the best, I've had several haircuts and color treatment with her and she always knows what to do, if you have no idea what you want she always has great suggestions. The vibe of the place is very relaxing, they also sell crystals and plants you can take home; their new line of hair products is amazing, locally sourced and PETA approved.

I can’t say enough good things about my stylist Alexandra she is so fun and easy to talk to, my time in her chair just flies by. I always leave looking like a beauty queen with lovely styling. Walking into the salon alone is relaxing and rejuvenating at the same time. It’s very light with high ceilings and intriguing things to look at and purchase. Lovely ambiance aside, I go for the stylist, Alexandra. She has been cutting and styling my hair for years and I have never been disappointed. It always looks and feels amazing. I have thick and somewhat wavy hair and she knows how to cut it so I can wash and wear. In addition, I always enjoy our chats💕.

Alexandra has been cutting and coloring my hair for over three years and she is AMAZING. I had been cutting my own hair for over ten years due to having a bad experience with a previous hair stylist but when it came time to start having someone who knew what they were doing cut it, I am so happy to have found Alexandra. The atmosphere of Apotheka is incredibly welcoming. Robbie and Alexandra have created a space that instantly calms the soul while you are pampered with incredible talent. I get endless compliments when I have my hair colored and/or balayaged. Alexandra is an excellent stylist! I only wish I could create the same look that she always does with my hair! This is by far the best salon I have ever been in.

Alexandra is the only person I trust to cut my hair. She is incredibly talented. I always had long hair and she was the only person I have ever trusted to cut my hair short - and I loved it when it was short! Their space is GORGEOUS and so relaxing. I wish I could cut my hair every week just to enjoy the space atmosphere and her company :) Highly recommend her - especially if you had bad experience with hairstylists in the past and desperately need someone to trust your hair to.

Apotheka Salon is hands down the best salon I’ve been to. Absolutely beautiful setup, fantastic people, and such a welcoming and fun environment. I’ve been going to Bailey for coloring services and cuts for the last year and I can’t imagine going elsewhere. She’s incredibly talented and always delivers. This place is amazing! From the decor to the staff. I love coming here for my services. I feel so calm and relaxed when I come for my appointment. The owners are so wonderful, sweet and welcoming. Bailey has been doing my hair for years and I can’t say enough about her knowledge and expertise. I’m VERY particular with my hair, but I can show her a picture and she will tell me what we can and can’t achieve and sets my expectations before we get started. I appreciate this because I know what to expect and always leave there so happy and calm! I tell everyone I know about Apotheka (and Bailey)!! 10/10 highly recommend.

Love this space! Alexandra, Robby, and Bekki are fabulous. My hair looks amazing, thanks to Bekki and her talent! The salon is beautiful and relaxing. They had Beetlejuice playing on their projector. The plants are lovely and really help bring life to the space. The building is gorgeous and I was able to sit on the roof while my hair processed. The bathrooms were immaculate.

Love, love this new salon in Seattle. It’s located in the beautiful renovated Labor Temple building between Olympic sculpture Park and the Space needle. Such a sanctuary when you walk into the natural decor of plants, healing stones and lovely diffusers. The stylists are awesome and offer expert advice and knowledge. They use only the most natural products which are also for sale in their salon. Alexandra first started cutting my hair at Salon Ayano and I followed her to the new Apotheka. I have recently moved to Bainbridge Island but will take a ferry over to get my hair color, cut and style! Check them out!

Robby has been cutting my hair for YEARS. From kitchen tables, to Salon Ayano, to instructing my partner over Zoom in 2020, and now his very own business; Apotheka Salon. Robby really knows what he’s doing, and he’s always been able to interpret my "what-am-I-even-trying-to-say” direction and make my hair look great. Bad hair day? I don’t know her. The salon itself has come together beautifully, and I'm always tempted to bring home more plants each time I go in for a cut. I would also recommend picking up a bottle of Plant Juice, made by Alexandra. It really elevated my plant care routine at home, and smells so fresh. I’ve known Robby and Alexandra for years, and I’m so proud to see what they have built together.

I cannot recommend Bailey enough! She cut my hair for a few years and then I followed her to Apotheka. She corrected a bad haircut (I made the mistake of trying someone else after she moved), and my hair has never looked better. Other pros: easy and close-by street parking (paid ~$2 for 2 hours), cool building, and the hair products Apotheka uses smell amazing.

I have never in my 30 plus years had a better experience in a salon. Robby is amazing! He was authentically dedicated to talking me through the process, experience, and expectations of dying my virgin hair platinum blonde. He was patient with all my questions as a pur noob. He really cared that I had a genuinely great experience. He was welcoming and insisted that I could reach out anytime for help and set me up with phenomenal products without any pushy upsell vibes at all. As a real pure ginger, no one in the salon tried to talk me down or slander my decision to go blonde. They were all hype people and I can't wait to go back for maintenance!
