Wendee ShulsenMy long-time stylist moved away and between that and the pandemic, I neglected my mane for too long. Finding a new stylist made me a little nervous, however any anxious feelings I had melted right away when I walked in the door. The salon is gorgeous and comfortable and Alphonso is a delight. I love my new haircut and am delighted to have a new place to get my locks prettied up. Color next! Thanks, Alphonso!
Brook PetersAlphonso knows hair. He cuts and lightens my hair (which is fairly easy), but where he really shines is thick and difficult hair. My son has VERY thick hair and everyone trims it like a hedge. Hair should not be treated like a hedge! Alphonso can work with difficult hair…And more! He is life changing!
Christina KinneyAlfonso makes you feel at home when he’s doing your hair. He makes sure you walk out of his salon looking FABULOUS! His salon is super stylish and welcoming as well! Plus his adorable dog greets you when you walk in which, duh, we all want! I’d suggest visiting him the next time you need your hair done!
SAMANTHA SIDOINEI'm so happy to have found Alfonso! It has always been difficult for me to find a colorist that can work with my dark hair and achieve caramel highlights or in this case an exceptional Balayage. Alfonso is a great Stylest as well! He skillfully cut my curly hair into a diagonal bob which is easy for me to style curly or straight. I greatly appreciate his flexible schedule and ability to communicate. It's a breath of fresh air to know that he is actively listening to me and trying to help me achieve the look I want. He also checked in with me the next day to make sure I was satisfied with my hair cut and color. I can't say enough about Alfonso, I got lots of compliments on my hair at work the next day. He is a great professional, who truly cares, and is fun to boot!
Lara MayerAlfonso is awesome! Great with color, great with cuts. He doesn't hesitate to give suggestions on what will work for you, which is extremely important in a stylist. He operates out of his home which gives each appointment a personal, unique and incredibly friendly experience. Plus, he's just a ton of fun to hang out with!
Katherine SpiewakI came to Alfonso’s wanting a total make over. I had dark brown, very long hair and was ready for a change. When most stylists would try to steer me away from going light, he embraced it. He is incredibly cautious to makes sure my hair is toned and not brassy throughout the lightening process as it does take some time. It feels healthier than ever and I’m loving the new me! Alfonso is a talented hair stylist and always goes the extra mile. I never walk out the salon feeling less than 100% with how my hair looks! He knocks it out of the park every time!
John TulliusI have had several haircuts by Alfonso now. He is very knowledgable and friendly and runs an extremely professional studio. The men's haircut I get isn't overly difficult, but it can be tricky with certain areas of thinning hair and other areas where it's crazy thick. Alfonso has quickly learned the cut that works for me, and also regularly gives me professional styling tips to keep it looking good between cuts. I'm very happy to call him my stylist/barber!
