i haven’t had my nails done in almost two years. i was recommended this place by brit, who also happens to be one of the amazing receptionists. it was better than my expectations. immediately, i noticed the smell. or the lack of. i usually prepare myself for having a migraine after a nail appointment but there was no strong chemical scent. jada - i think that was the name of the receptionist working today?? i’m not sure! - was so welcoming ! helped me get all set up for my appointment and poured me an amazing glass of wine. for my actual appointment i got the après extensions. i am sold. so breathable, so flexible, so natural, so beautiful. carmen was my nail tech and she will definitely be my nail tech again in three weeks. she is amazing. so kind, hilarious, and extremely talented. i highly recommend her!! this has to be the best nail salon in nola and the best i’ve ever been to. everyone that works there makes the vibe so on point. book your appointment NOW! <3 ✨✨✨

I am a loyal customer to this salon. I wouldn’t dare let somewhere else touch my nails unless it’s a dire situation (ie hurricane displacement and even after I left for Ida I came running back!). I’ve been going here (MAD Nails) for two years now and it’s ALWAYS a great experience. I’m fascinated by the weekly specials and my nails are always on point. Made the mistake of booking an appointment under a different email for my wedding nail appointment. Let me tell you how that was the only freak out of my wedding. (Future) hubby understood when I freaked out. Called the shop and Morgan was so sweet. She found my error and assured me that they would be waiting for me at my appointment. The shop is always clean and tidy. Staff is extremely pleasant. Music is always 🔥🔥🔥. You couldn’t pay me to go elsewhere!

I’ve been going to this salon for a few months now and every time I walk in I’m greeted by friendly faces and staff. They are super open about the nail process and don’t make you feel intimidated, it’s a collaborative experience. I’ve seen a few different techs and they have all done an amazing job especially focusing on overall nail health. Below is a weekly special I received with Carmen. I spent a good 20 mins after the appt just staring at them! Will continue to book here, it’s 10/10 every time.

I absolutely love this place. The people were so friendly and as someone who struggles with anxiety, their “silent” option was so very much appreciated. My nail tech Isis made me feel so comfortable and did a great job on my nails. I can’t wait to go back to her. I usually don’t talk much in a new place with new people, but even with my “silent” option Isis and I eventually started chatting towards the end bc she made me feel so welcome and really put my anxious thoughts at ease. She was so gentle and understanding i truly can’t thank her enough. Also the owner Morgan is such a sweetheart and consistently walked around to make sure everything was okay with each customer. I appreciate that she took my “silent” option with my anxiety very seriously bc it created a much more calming space and experience for me.

I look forward to and LOVE my time at Lab & Lounge. I’ve been with my DESIGNER nail technician, Gabriella, for a full year now. I never miss booking every two weeks. My nails are always looking fly and I’ve NEVER not received at least 4 or more compliments on my nails with each changing manicure. Gabriella gets me and we are always on the same page of how to keep me on trend and true to me. I look forward to expanding my treatments and trying some of the new services. I have finally found a place to be relax that matches my unique flare for NOLA living!

This is my favorite salon of all time. I have been getting my nails done here for years and I am impressed every time. They really care about the health of your nails and that makes all the difference! I normally get my nails done by Sally (love her), but all the techs are fantastic!! Going to this salon, my natural nails have grown so strong and long that people think I have acrylics! I really don’t think that there is a better place to get your nails done! The salon has recently started offering other services that I cannot wait to try. So far, I have gotten a facial and it was fantastic and relaxing.
