Ever since I started getting my hair cut by David at AntiGravity I haven’t turned back! The vibe in the salon is unmatched compared to others. The people are friendly and the energy is bumpin! My date went to get her Hair Colored and styled by David. When I saw her that night she literally took my breath away. What David and his salon did was an absolute piece of artwork. The best part is that it has been almost a week later and she still looks stunning I would highly recommend them to everyone and anyone.

David did a wonderful job on highlighting my hair. It feels and looks beautiful. He’s very passionate about his work and cares about every detail. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They like to take their time to achieve the best results possible. I love that they’re always cleaning/disinfecting. Everyone is very considerate and are always asking if you need something to drink or if you want to order food.

Aviv is the best ❤ It's a pretty cool salon and it looks like they do a little bit of everything. I'm always happy with the work they do. Alex is awesome as well, my fiancé gets his hair cut by him. Best fade in Louisiana imo

AntiGravity Salon has excellent talent. I have always had my hair done by Aivi and have followed her to this salon. However, I have also had other professionals at the salon cut my hair, and the result is always phenomenal. They are are highly trained and also educate other stylists in the city. Not only is the service excellent, the environment is fun and casual with great conversation and great music. At the same time, the salon also provides an upscale ambiance. Highly recommend.

This gem is conveniently located, has an attractive aesthetic, and gives off an atmosphere that is exactly what someone would want out of an upscale posh downtown salon yet the amazing people and service I received were hands down the cake winning attributes of this place. Everyone was attentive as well as beyond kind, warm, and welcoming! Last but not least, David and Mary’s passion for excellence with clear attention to details and focus on satisfying their clients was superb. I haven’t had my hair professionally touched in a very long time (bad experiences in the past) and not only was Mary incredibly patient with me as she cut off nearly a foot of hair slowly and methodically in aim of getting the exact style I was looking for but she made me feel so much more at ease and confident in her process as well. Well done Antigravity! Readers: Do your refreshed and satisfied future self a favor and book an appointment!

AntiGravity is no ordinary salon, not only you look good but you leave feeling GREAT! David Conner is absolutely the BEST at what he do.

Wow! I have never loved my hair this much before to Antigravity. I have dark, very processed hair and I always do my research before letting anyone touch my hair. I have been trying for years to get subtle blonde highlights and balayage that give that nice overall bronde glow and I found David and he is absolutely the best at what he does!! He loves what he does and he takes pride in his work!! By far exceeded my expectations and well worth it David and his creative vision for this salon is absolutely outstanding. I’ll be flying back to Nola every few months from nyc just get to my hair done here

Absolutely love getting my hair done by Sophia! I've followed her from salon to salon. She is super receptive to my ideas and always ends up giving me exactly what I want. I am routinely blown away with her work and the ease of upkeep that my hair requires afterwards. On top of that, Anti-Gravity is taking tons of precautions to maintain a healthy and safe environment. I felt safe the entire time I was getting my hair done post-Covid. Cant wait to go back!

Place was super clean and I definitely liked the environment. Had an appointment to get my haircut by Alex V. He was on time and did a great job on my fade and beard. Definitely a 5⭐ rating for the 5⭐ service I received. Ask for Alex and make an appointment. He will have you looking fresh and felling great.

My guy Shaq took good care of me. Took his time and didn’t rush me out of the chair. Will definitely be back. Best haircut I’ve had in a very long time! Also, the shop did a good job of making sure all areas were properly sanitized before having customers sit in the chair. I felt safe and taken care of 👌🏽

My First time in a long time in a Salon. I usually see a barber , and Alex was sure it! He is new their and really good at what he does. Kudos to the staff, they help each other out with anything plus work well during COVID-9 times by cleaning and sanitizing after each use of equipment and chairs., thanks AG! and thanks Alex for the fade. Mary is amazing! Her coloring is seriously the best out of ANYONE I’ve ever tried! I’ve been to the most lucrative salons in New York and she is definitely better at a way better price! Can’t recommend her enough!

I love this salon. I live in the neighborhood and it’s absolutely modern inside. My hairstylist Kayla transformed my hair and it looks beautiful almost two months later. The hairstylists/barbers/owner were personable and very welcoming. I’ve been to some salons and it’s rare the owners would walk over to say hello and have a conversation. I recommend this place for the stylists and prime location. There’s also barbers and etc for mens haircut. Side notes:There’s plenty of street parking around the neighborhood. Also, so many things to do like restaurants (peche, bearcat, nola caye, sofia, Gianna)and museums (cac, ogden) or just walk the warehouse district for art galleries. Perfect if someone is waiting for you while you’re getting your hair done or if you have time before or after your hair appt.
