I just got my hair cut at the salon and had a very positive experience. The owner of the salon checked me in and was very friendly. She offered me a drink and chatted with me while I waited for the stylist. The stylist that cut my hair, Korryn, was absolutely lovely. She was very friendly and professional. I got the on the go cut, which is the quick version of a curly cut, and she still took her time and was very thorough. The salon itself is beautiful, inviting and clean. Recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a professional curly haircut. I will definitely go there again!

Since moving to Minnesota I've struggled to find a hairstylist, let alone a salon that understands my curly hair. The atmosphere at the Curl Salon was modern and all the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Lauren listened to what I wanted with my hair and I left with a beautiful cut enhancing my bouncy curls; she gave great tips and tricks on how to properly take care of my hair. I am so happy to have found the curl salon and the wonderful stylist Lauren!

I had a wonderful experience at The Curl Salon. Justyne understands curly hair, period. My curls have never looked better! I also so appreciate how accommodating the salon was around my preference for masking—they made me feel really comfortable, and any anxiety I had around getting a haircut (which I had been too afraid to do since the start of the pandemic) totally dissipated. Definitely recommend!

Love this place, was referred by a friend and so glad I checked it out! They not only were able to get my friend and I in for side by side haircuts at a super short notice, but they surprised me when they said they donated hair for wigs for children too! I had about 12 inches of unprocessed hair chopped, so why not :) Alex is amazing, and wasn't mad when I needed a few more of the fluffs cut off to make my new short do even shorter. All around great staff, everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable, and there must have been every type of curl being rocked in that salon! If you're looking for an alternative way to donate your hair (with no cost btw) this is the place.

I got a curly haircut from Amos, and I had a wonderful experience. I asked for a haircut that would encourage my curls and add volume, and that’s exactly what I got. I’m in love with the results. Amos was so kind and obviously a very talented stylist. You won’t be disappointed!

I had an AMAZING experience at the Curl Salon! The space is open, relaxing and inviting. The staff were all incredibly kind and considerate. As far as the cut itself, the stylists at the Curl Salon know what they're doing! Faiza took her time to understand what I wanted. Then she cut and shaped my hair very thoughtfully. Now it looks neat and intentional, while still showing off the curls - just what I was hoping for! This is far and away the best haircut, wash and style I've ever had; I couldn't be happier! Alex is the best! I have a really hard time with my hair in general. I’ve never really liked my hair but Alex made me absolutely love my hair. She was so patient and kind. She never made me feel like I was a burden or I was taking up too much time. We worked together to get the color I wanted and I am so so so happy with the results!!

I’m thrilled! Finding a salon/sylist you love can be a challenge, finding one that knows curly hair, even more so! The Curl Salon is a find! The receptionist was charming and welcoming but you could tell, her radar was up, making sure the entire salon was hitting on all cylinders. I love my cut and color- Korryn asked all the right questions and then she got to work. I like to relax (even close my eyes!) during a salon visit and she got that, no extra chit chat. Professional! I booked an appointment a couple weeks ago. First time at this salon, I arrive at my appt and was told the stylist I selected was "kinda double booked " and it will be another 10 mins. Phone call to let me know she was going to be late would of been nice.. I was offered a beverage, I chose hot tea, clients coming and going as I sit. Oh and they are sipping their beverage they were offered. Front desk personel there are 2 are having a good time. 35 mins in and here I still sit, they didn't bring my beverage. So far 2 stars at this time. I will reevaluate this post after I receive my services. So my service has been completed and Faiza is the reason I have changed my review to 5 Stars. She gave me a great cut, shampoo, steam treatment. She apologized for all the mishaps, she brought me tea. She is an asset to this business! Suggestion, front desk employees need to focus and follow through with one customer at a time.

I had a great experience with Justyne at the Curl Salon today. She helped me donate my hair, then gave me the best haircut I've ever had. She has been doing curly cuts for a long long time, and having very curly hair herself, she understands the difficulties we curly haired folks have with haircuts. She uses a variety of different curly hair cutting techniques that her tutors have shown her throughout the years, and she will make sure you leave balanced and bouncy. Expensive but worth it; you won't be gambling your hair with her.

The hallmark of an excellent curly cut is hair that looks good on day 2. After Stephannie cut and styled my 3b/c hair, I left the salon feeling really happy with the results. However, it wasn't until the next day and my curls had stretched and frizzed a little that I knew just how talented Stephannie is. Now I have perfectly blended layers, with no strange points or unevenness. So no matter how much I fluff and pick, or how "big" my hair gets, it still has a beautiful shape. - which means I can go longer without needing to wash and restyle. Thank you, Stephannie, for listening, for creating the style I had in mind, and the great conversation. I'll be back!
