I just had my first appointment there the other day. My stylist was Tanya Wyatt, and she was amazing! Very professional, did a great consultation and helped me decide what to do when I wasn’t sure. I got a fantastic cut and color, the best I’ve gotten in years. The salon is clean and beautiful, they were on time, and even were able to fit me in last minute (I made the appointment at like 8pm the night before online). I can’t say enough good things about Tanya and the salon, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Getting my hair done with Leah is seriously the best treat! Leah is amazing at listening to her clients so I always feel like I've gotten the perfect cut/color while also making me feel so comfortable and happy to open up with her and share about what's going on in my life! I can tell she really takes care of my own hair/styling needs that are unique to me and explains the products and techniques she's using. I'm seriously always so impressed with the service I've get from her from hair cuts, color, waxing that I end up messaging her days later about how in love I am with the results! Thank you!!!!!!

I chose LolaMax for a few reasons - Aveda, close to home, fewer chairs. Still important to be safe, even with the vaccine roll-out! I was so happy that temperatures were taken at the check in desk! I had more than a year of growth to shape and split ends to remove. (I had had a pixie cut in January of 2020 and didn't get it trimmed before the March/April shutdowns.) I told Becca what I wanted - preserve length but damage is damage, link up the back and sides, my bangs go this way - but I had zero reference photos. Becca gave me a fabulous cut that was exactly what I hoped! I saw the length she was taking off, but as with all good stylists, she made my hair seem just as long by giving me a flattering style. Best of all, the service cost was excellent!

Leah is fabulous. From the time I sit in her chair until I leave, I'm treated like a queen. The scalp massage, outstanding shampoo service & impeccable cut and style every time, keep me coming back. She is a lot of fun but doesn't overwhelm you with needless (or loud) conversation during the relaxing service. Five Stars for Leah!

I've had services from both Trae and Becca. Both experiences were great. I especially appreciated Trae's extra effort in getting my hair that super white platinum that I was looking for. Becca creates a great pixie cut! Great neighborhood salon to avoid the craziness of uptown or edina.

Amazing! Sharon Hughes is an artist! I was wanting to embrace my gray hairs but also still go back to one of my all time favorites hair colors orange! I never knew I could have them both, she made that happen! I felt taken care of and the smell of Aveda products in the space was heaven. Thank you so much Sharon!

There are so many hair salons to pick from within the cities but this place is such a gem. I had one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time, thanks to Leah. This place makes you feel relaxed and the people are very sweet!

Trey is the best colorist around. I drive over 2 hours to see him and he's 100% worth it. The shop is also taking COVID very seriously which is so refreshing! I'd recommend LolaMax to anyone!!

Derick rescued me in the midst of a mid-life hair crisis 6 months ago. He explains to me how to replicate his styling techniques at home. he even gave my husband a tutorial on how to style my hair. (I have Parkinson's disease and he knows sometimes I need help fixing my hair.) All the salon needs now is a handicapped accessible bathroom, and they will be worthy of five stars,

All I can say is YASSSS! Sally just gets it. She gave me the perfect balayage just in time for the season change. The salon was comfortable, clean, and felt personable - allowing the client to enjoy the experience rather than feel rushed. Everyone was super friendly. If you are looking for a change, but still want to feel like yourself I highly recommend this salon. I will definitely be back!!

Considering a Brazillian blowout or anything that can change the way your hair looks for a length of time is a scray business, but Lolamax is one of the best places for it! Their staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly, have good advice to give. I've had the Brazilian blowout twice from them and I'm going back a third time! Always leave with my hair looking like a million bucks!!!
