I contacted the business to gather some information. Tammy replied to my inquiry and was able to promptly schedule a consultation. We discussed my ideas and set up an appointment to cut, color, and style my hair. The entire experience was wonderful. Tammy and her business partner provide an environment that is relaxed and comfortable. Tammy did an amazing job executing the ideas i had communicated to her as well as suggesting and communicating changes that would help provide a better end result. The outcome was better than I had imagined and I'm so happy I happened upon this salon as it will be my primary choice from now on!

I've been seeing Tammy at Bourbon and Bows for a few years and she is THE BEST. I've recommended several friends to see her too, including my mom! I tend to keep my hairstyle pretty straight forward, but Tammy makes the experience thoroughly enjoyable. I often walk in with my hair knotted in a messy bun and walk out feeling fresh. I also always feel safe in the space—Tammy is welcoming and empathetic. Plus, throughout COVID they've taken special protocols to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Had such an awesome experience at Bourbon and Bows! Was lucky enough to get Gillian as my stylist after buying a Groupon and she was completely honest and helpful about what I should do for my cut and color. She gave me the perfect look and style and was SO fun to converse with the entire time. Someone you love to sit down with while you get your haircut. Whole salon is adorable and welcoming. Highly recommend :)

I started going to Gillian about a year or two ago and will never go anywhere else! Not only does she give a great haircut, but my dye always grows out perfectly and she's fun to talk to! Tammy, the other stylist is great too! Highly recommend.

Tammy Cox is passionate about what she does and does it well. I love that she finds ways to try new things when I want to switch it up, but I value the quality of her work the most. My hair has never been healthier and her prices are extremely reasonable.

Gillian and Lauren are amazing! Both are great at what they do and are super friendly. I've been a regular at B&B for a few years and have loved every haircut. I recently got a bayalage treatment and when it turned out a bit more subtle than anticipated, they let me come back to add extra color at no charge! They definitely go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. 100% recommended!

Got a deep conditioning treatment and haircut. Usually i feel like these kind of treatments don't do a whole lot for my hair, or just leave it heavy, but this was the best one I've ever had. Left my hair nice and soft and bouncy for several days, maybe weeks after my visit. Ashley (?) styled my long hair with some nice curls, and i don't think she charged me extra for it. It was really nice and not overdone like some other places I have gone. Also the inside of the salon is really well kept and cute :)

Great salon! Nice location and great atmosphere. Men's haircuts are reasonably priced for a nicer salon ($30). Tim has cut my hair a few times and always turns out great. Also you can have wine or bourbon while you wait. Great that you can schedule online too!

After trying many salons in the Twin Cities metro area it’s just OK results, I had to write this review to rave about Tim and his incredible artistry. I got the perfect combination of highlights, low lights, toner to create the look ai have been wanting to achieve for about a year. Also I got the exact haircut I asked for. Incredibly happy with the service and will definitely be coming back!

I went here last year for a groupon and it was...OK. I can echo the "my hair looked the same as when I arrived" comments; as well as the lackluster attitude of the stylists. Also, the drinks during haircut are nice, but really I think it's the only gimmick to draw people in on Groupon. The stylist I had barely spoke to me, and so I can't remember her name. It was very awkward and I have found several other NE salons near me that are WAY better both technically and in customer service. I say skip it and go to the Hive - similar pricing ( a tad higher depending on stylist level) but an exceptional customer experience and unbelievable cut/color capabilities.

My visit included a haircut, blowdry, and balayage color treatment. The stylist was Lauren and she was fantastic! Lauren was exceptionally friendly, professional, and took the time to make sure I loved my hair. The salon is a clean and fun atmosphere. They have very modern decor and I love the artwork. You will love your experience.

Wow! I went here with a coupon not knowing what to expect, but I ended up getting exactly what I wanted! This little attic salon is so darling and nice! It just recently reopened as Bourbon and Bows. They do really offer bourbon if you like! (Must be 21+.) The stylists walk you through what they are doing to your hair which is great. You don't feel "in the dark"! Bottom line: I would recommend this salon to anyone in the area. It is professional, clean, fair prices and the stylists know exactly what they're doing!

Very hygienic and thoughtful during covid times. Great haircuts. Tammy is also a wonderful conversationalist. In non-covid times it's a great treat to sip on a whiskey or wine while getting one's hair did.

Went in for a men's color and cut with Heidi Jean. She did a great job understanding what I wanted done. Color came out great (10 years younger look) and the cut was really good looking. Very friendly and attentive staff, with a nice atmosphere in the space. I'll be going back on a regular basis.
