I had the best experience with Taylor and Matthew! Taylor colored my hair exactly how I wanted and I have received so many good compliments of my balayage with her. Today I cut my hair with Matthew and OMG exactly what I wanted. Both listen and give you the results you are expecting and more. Also, they are both super fun to talk to and just cool people! I’ve found my hair styling team in Minneapolis! :)

Love love love! Under new management in the past few years. The location is beautiful, easy to book and pay, an the work is excellent. I see Margie for foils and cuts. She really loves her job and it shows. Prices are similar to other downtown Minneapolis pricing.

This was my first time getting my hair professionally done. I did a lot of research and I chose Daniela as my stylist after seeing her work on instagram. I scheduled a balayage and a haircut. I gave Daniela a little history on my hair and she took all of it into consideration. We started with a major haircut because I had been growing my hair out from my last at home hair dye job in 2018. There was a harsh line where my natural hair was growing in. She used a lightener to remove my at home dye job. Afterwards she cut a small piece of the color removed hair to test the integrity of it with the bleach. My hair was not ready for a balayage at this appointment. Daniela was really honest with me about it, but she had a plan B. We went forward and did a color correction and she matched the color of my natural hair color and dyed it all one uniform color. I never expected such great results. A balayage is not something that can be safely accomplished in one session after at home dye jobs. It is a process and I cannot wait to have my next session with Daniela. She gave me advice on how to care for my hair during the next few months before our next appointment. I cannot wait for my next session, Daniela is very talented, honest and truly cares about your hair goals but also wants to ensure that your hair stays healthy along the way for beautiful results.

Everyone at Anthem is magic. Just sayin. Alex has been my girl to bring my mop back to life post quarantining for 7 months. I don't know what I'm talking about when I try to describe what I want my hair to look like, but somehow she nails it e-ver-y time. Obviously a talented wizard. I love that the other stylists will talk to you, not just the one doing your hair! They all make you feel like they are happy you're there. The salon sells really great products, but aren't pushy about them AT ALL, which I love! The salon is a modern and inviting open space that is easy to feel comfortable in. 10/10 Experience. They will need to pay me to stop coming.

Daniela has been coloring my hair for the last year or so and I will never go back to see any other stylist besides her! She is not only extremely talented and passionate about what she does, but is also very sweet and empowering! She is transparent about achievable hair goals while also helping you get the look you want! So grateful to have found her! The salon is also super cute and the rest of the staff are always friendly and smiling!

Courtney was amazing! She let me know exactly what my end results would be, and did a great job of cleaning up my hair which was long overdue for a trim. My long hair is still long, but looks so much better now—many stylists wouldn’t take the care that she did in preserving that length. Just a great time overall, and I’d recommend her to anyone!

Josie colored and styled my hair! She’s amazing. She did a shadow root and a couple balayage pieces and toned my hair all over to make it warmer. My hair came out exactly how I wanted it to and it feels softer than when I came in. She was super accommodating ( I was dying from my allergies the whole appointment) and she made me feel comfortable. Definitely will book with her again next time I’m in Minnesota.

I am so happy that I chose Margie to cut and dye my processed hair gray. She was able to create a natural looking, healthy style which actually makes me look younger than trying to cover my gray up! It looks so natural on me, that I’ve been getting compliments on my looks all week, yet people can’t quite figure out what’s different about me...The salon is clean, modern, welcoming, and totally professional, and Margie is delightful!

Alex balayage’d my virgin hair and I love how it looks! My hair still looks and feels strong and healthy but now has really beautiful warm highlights. I love how it looks, and the whole salon experience was really pleasant overall. Excellent experience. Brooke and her team are very profesional. I had the experience to have my hair done by Brooke and she made an authentic and well done balayage on my hair (trust me , I’m very picky about balayage and I know when is not one). My money was finally well invested since I had visited two salons in the last couple years in the cities. Brooke like to ask and get as much details as possible about what you want which is perfect and means that she is trying to get what you want. Excellent customer service, I felt good about my interaction with the team, everybody was very kind and humble and highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back and continue dying my hair here, my research for hair salons is over.
