Oh my God I had been looking for someone who specializes in natural hair. And boy did they come thru. Kayla did my hair and she did a silk press and she did a amazing job. I recommend anyone who looking for a salon to give them a try. They have great service and I will be making this my forever home for my beautician needs. Thank you Transcending Hair Salon!!!!!!😍😍

So my regular and back up beautician were unavailable and I needed someone to do my hair tonight after work ASAP for something tomorrow. AND I had never been here. But Rachel stayed until I got off and got me in and out with a silk press. It looks and feels wonderful but seriously an hour she rocked it out and my hair is far from short and extremely thick. I appreciate it so much for getting me in right away. I can see myself coming back or recommending!

Rachel took me as a last minute, same day, walk-in. She was friendly and fun, professional and personable. Even though she wasn't feeling well, she took me and did a FABULOUS job on my crochet. As I sat s watched some of the other stylists work and they were are doing incredible work. Definitely recommend this salon and this stylist.

I LOVE this salon. Antoi came to my rescue a few years ago and now she's the only stylist I trust. My hair ALWAYS looks healthy and shiny, never greasy, and she's faster than any other stylist I've ever had. Her prices are competitive, if not less expensive, and she always supports her community. Spending your dollars at Transcending means you're also benefiting the community as a whole. There is a parking lot.

Great stylists! Great customer service! I was in town for a funeral and needed my hair done. This salon was recommended by my cousin. I did not have an appointment but they were able to work me in. I have natural hair. If you have natural hair - this is your place. The stylist listened to me and did my hair just as good as my regular stylist. I was grateful and relieved to find a salon/stylist that could do just what I needed. If I'm ever in town again and need my hair done, I'll most definitely return here. I highly recommend this salon. And, no long wait!!

I wish I had discovered this salon sooner but I'm glad I did. I came through its doors with some scary hair as I had been transitioning to natural hair and was at a point where I didn't know what to do with it. Antoi saved me that day by assuring she had someone who could help me. Since then, Antoi and her staff of stylists, especially Vanishea (Shari in the past), have helped me with my hair. I'm having much better good hair days. Please support this woman owned business.

Really nice comfortable experience. Im happy to have found a new beautician that specializes in healthy hair! I was in and out.. You must wear a mask, must use hand sanitizer once you arrive. They sterilized after each client. I felt safe, and left happy.

I've been coming to this salon for about 3 years now. It caters to women with "natural hair".There's aslo 2 barber chairs. Vaneisha is the young lady that does my hair. She takes her time and isn't trying to cut my hair just because. I recommend it to anyone looking for a classy and compassionate hair salon.

This is the only salon I visit, everyone is like family to me, actually they are my family! Antoi and Vanishea keeps me and my daughter hair healthy and Ky keeps my niece braids beautiful!!! When you first walk in there is somebody thats on the salon side that will greet you with a smiling face. The ladies are very professional. On the Barber Shop side (yes theres 2 sides to the shop) all of the barbers are down to earth and very talented. Chris and Gee makes it a great place to get your hair cut at. Ladies ask for Gee for your eye brows. He fills them in with this tint that last for about a week!
