I have been coming here to get my haircuts for the past year, and I love the atmosphere and the friendliness of the stylists. It was definitely a great first experience when I cut my hair short for the first time in a long time. I'm always so used to stylists questioning me about how short my hair is being cut or wanting to make it round and feminine, but here? They do it as you request it and make you feel welcomed as they get to work.

My fiance and I came here for our wedding-day cuts and we're both so happy with what we got! Both of the styles we wanted were undercuts, with mine being an asymmetrical cut too. Vincent worked wonders and took our ideas and made them into awesome realities. My asymmetrical cut is buzzed on one side with an awesome flower design. Vincent asked for feedback along the way and made sure we were both comfortable throughout the process. Thank you so much! Vincent and Tease Salon have been a big part of helping us make our wedding special and memorable.

This was my first time going there & Hailee was great, she made me feel really comfortable and made sure she understood what I was looking for with my highlights and my cut. She was super sweet and did a great job. Dan the owner was also super friendly and was comped my eye brow wax since I had to come back which I thought was really nice. HairmanDan cut and styled my hair and did great. He offers his input/expertise and listens to my thoughts about my aging hair—even when I make no sense. Salon is always clean and has a good vibe. Everyone is kind and focused on clients. They all seem to be supporting one another for the optimal client experience. That feels different than places where stylists rent chairs and focus only on their own. Tease salon has good people who know what they are doing, including a caring leader (hairmanDan) who cracks me up.

She's a good listener, and we always have a discussion before she starts to do anything with my hair to ensure I walk away satisfied which I truly appreciate. The staff overall is friendly and attentive. The room temperature is also comfortable which is important when you're sitting there with a wet head. 😉. All the good things to say about Tease Salon. I worked with them for my wedding this February. They are major value for the price and the quality of work and experience we received, with the front desk to the stylists. They let us have the whole top floor to relax and provided a breakfast spread at cost! Laura coordinated our appointments wonderfully and was so accommodating, even with lots of moving parts and updates. The stylist were all so kind and talented. Monica is wonderful and made magic with my hair on the big day and I couldn’t have wished it better!! Dan has put together an amazing place with amazing people. Thank you, Tease!

Got my hair done here as a wedding party. Not only was everyone nice, professional and COVID safe but Tony does an AMAZING updo. I literally showed a few Pinterest updos and told him I wanted something up (hello summer in Milwaukee) and that will last all night. He did not disappoint! Also was so nice and friendly the whole time. Would definitely recommend! (Photo is not the clearest but the best I could find with the hairstyle! 😆)

To be the best Local Guide possible I have made it a point to save my 5 star reviews for businesses that offer either a product, service, or experience that is truly extra ordinary. That being said, if I could give Tease Salon in Bay View, Milwaukee 6 Stars, I absolutely would. I would call my hair style the "Rockabilly for the Modern Man". This hair cut requires the stylish to have an expert level ability to do a skin-tight clipper fade for the bottom, sides, as well as an expert level ability to cut and texture the top of the hair. The stylist must also be able to do a perfectly straight hard part that is not too thick or too thin. Not only was Dan @ tease able to do all of the above, but he also truly cares about his clients that sit in his chair. When you develop as comprehensive of an understanding of the complexities of cutting hair as Dan does, you begin to not only cut hair so your client looks good the moment the hair cut is complete, but also so that they look just as great as their hair grows with your haircut. I am 36 years old and as sad as I am to admit this, (sorry Milwaukee hair salon/barbershop Industry) the haircut Dan gave me was the VERY first hair cut I recieved where I actually feel like my hair grew WITH my hair cut. Maybe part of this is my fault; maybe I just suck at describing what kind of hair cut I want. A good stylisy should know how to ask the right questions and extract the information they need from their client. Whatever the case may be, because of my choice to go to Tease to get my hair cut, I can live with confidence, knowing my hair always looks great. Yes, Dan also helped explain to me how to style my hair better with the products I already had at home. No sales pitch. But when I realized he was as good as he was, I purchased hair products he sold because if they are half as good as my hair cutting experience at Tease was, then there is no way I'd regret using products he stood by. I HIGHLY suggest you get in and give Dan a try. If Dan's booked, don't fret; he has made it a point to have a hand in guiding and developing the skills and abilities of the stylists he employs.

Go here every 3 months or so. Been coming for almost 3 years. I moved a bit north of Milwaukee and still come all the way here because I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. Prices are good for the service. Before covid they would give wine which made the experience so relaxing. Hopefully this comes back one day.

I got my hair cut by Tony and he was great - the softest touch I have ever experienced! Even when he was brushing out my wet hair or tangles he never pulled or tugged, it was a first! Would highly recommend, especially if you have a sensitive head (I don’t but was pleasantly surprised by his technique). As a stylist he listened to what I asked for and provided a great cut!

Absolutely fabulous and friendly staff. If you have mobility issues, there is a ramp in the back of the building. The shampoo chairs are removable so you don't need to jeopardize your safety by transferring if you use a wheelchair. Bathroom is also large and accessible. Treat yourself to some pampering!

I can’t tell you enough how much I love Joe and everyone at Tease...for starters, the salon is beautiful - they recently expanded upstairs which has beautiful wood floors, a ton of natural light, and a cozy fireplace. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely talented. I will never get my haircut with anyone else again! Not to mention, the beer, wine, coffee with baileys, etc that’s served while getting your hair done is an excellent touch :)

I've gone for a haircut (wash, cut and style) and it was great! Good service. I brought my son in for a haircut and the service was still awesome. They make you feel comfortable and they are always looking in your best interest when it comes to women's cuts (they will tell you if something won't look right).

She revived my damaged hair and pretty much saved it from falling out. I came to Tease after a botch job of a haircut at a place where I won't even mention. Through tears I explained to Danielle, my stylist, that the previous place cut off 8 inches off my hair and messed up all the layers. Danielle took such great care of me and gave me a hair cut that went well with me and restored some of the confidence I had lost along with hair. Today I came back for another cut (this time shorter until some of the front layers grow out), not only did Danielle remembered me, she also remembered special details about my hair, like how it's thick and super straight, that I like volume, that I'm growing it out, that I'm extremely sensitive about having the right hair cut.... She then went above and beyond to explain how to style it and gave me great pointers to doing so. I wish there were 6 stars! Owner/Manager, the lever of expertise, precision, detailed, and genuine concern that Danielle has demonstrated so effortlessly should be recognized. :)
