Lynn highlighted my hair and it is hands-down the BEST experience I have ever had. She is so thoughtful and consultative in her approach. She asked me how I typically wear my hair, how often I wash it, what styling products I use, and what I was hoping to achieve with the color. Then she took all of that feedback into her process and gave me the most gorgeous highlights I've ever seen. Plus, she is great to talk to. I am so happy to have found Lynn and Shine Salon!

I really love shine. I heard about shine from a friend that comes here, and I have been going to see Angela for about a year now. I have loved everything she has done! The salon is clean, it does not smell, and the stylists and receptionists are so kind. I came once during winter and the hot water heater went out, making the wash a little chilly! Lynn, the owner, apologized profusely (I really did not mind, it happens!) and sent me home with a complimentary Aveda product. I am by no means a hair expert, and I rarely know what to do with my hair, but Angela always produces excellence. My hair is silky, smooth, smells great, and looks AMAZING! She is kind, conversational, and quite possibly the nicest person I know, no joke. I will continue to come to and recommend Shine as long as I live in Milwaukee. Following up: I’m still at shine, still with Angela, and still love it!

Taylor does an incredible job with my hair! When she does my cut for me, my hair feels so much lighter and easier to manage. It’s quick for me to wash and style because of the way she thins my crazy thick hair. I get so many compliments after every cut. I drive 25 mins to come here and it’s absolutely worth it!

Great experience at Shine Salon! I felt totally transformed and renewed when I left, human again. Lynn and Taylor did an amazing job. I truly love my new color and cut! Lynn suggested a way to help my grays blend in more, which makes my visits less frequent while still looking good between visits. Perfect. Shine is the BEST. Lynn is a true professional. Great service, awesome atmosphere, and always a great time. I have been going to Lynn for 9 years and have never found anyone who understands hair color like she does. Before I found Lynn I hopped around to different salons because I could never find a colorist that could get me the results I wanted. Now I will not go anywhere else. Highly recommend for color or cuts! Truly the best around!

Kelly at Shine has exceeded my expectations every time I've gone to see her. She always listens to my exact wants and gives me her professional advice on what will be best for my hair vs. some hair stylists who will do whatever you're asking even if it could compromise the health of your hair. My haircuts from her were amazing (I got multiple compliments) and my color surpassed my expectations greatly (so shiny and perfectly even)! I look forward to seeing her in the future for my hair needs. I would recommend Kelly and Shine to anyone looking for a truly professional and wonderful stylist/salon! I'm a firm believer in... "You get what you pay for" Shine and Kelly are beyond worth it!

First off I'm very particular with my hairstylist. When you find a good one you have to keep it and let me tell you I've found it here! I have been seeing Kelly for a few years and she really stays up to date with trends and is honest and tells me what she thinks! I've also seen Lynn the owner and she is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. The place is clean and most importantly they stand by their work. Prices are GREAT and the service and pampering you get is outstanding!

I have loved every experience I have had thus far at Shine Salon!! Love the decor and I will drive almost half an hour just to see my girl, Kelly!! I followed Kelly to Shine salon and have not been disappointed yet. Lynn has also been so great and I love how Kelly and Lynn will work together to make sure the customer is happy!! The salon has an upscale chic atmosphere. Mix in Kelly and Lynn's cheery and friendly disposition and it's like I'm visiting friends instead of going into just a salon to get my hair done. My visits usually consists of never ending laughs (after our consultations of course) followed by me snoring (during the scalp massages hehe) and then again with full on laughs and ends with an amazing head of hair! Their passion for their work not only shows in the end result with the customers, but also in their willingness to continually stay up to date with trends, techniques, colors, and more. Kelly was the first person to ever color my hair and I will admitI wasn't easy!!! I felt comfortable with Kelly from the beginning because she respects my wishes and listens to me. She does my hair according to my comfort zone, my hair level maintenance schedule, my likes and I ALWAYS leave one happy customer with amazing head of hair. I always get compliments weeks after my visits from her. I am slowly becoming more and more open to ideas so Kelly and I get to play more each time I visit. She tailors trends and styles to not only what will look best on me, but also what will work best for me (i.e. working around my hair routine). She excites me and the end result always turns out better than I can always imagine. Kelly knows what she is doing and how to get it done! Her passion for hair shows everytime I walk outta her chair! I would recommend Kelly and anyone else at Shine Salon!

I read favorable reviews about the salon, plus I live a block away, so I decided to go for some much needed highlights. I am the least articulate person ever in explaining what I want for my hair, plus I am a very low maintenance person. Molly understood me perfectly, read my mind, and gave me exactly what I imagined. The entire staff was pleasant and professional. The prices are very reasonable. It's easily the best salon experience I have ever had and I will be back.
