What can I say, this place and the people are spectacular. I have short hair that Caitlin cuts for me and she never disappoints. She showed me the perfect styling product that I honestly wouldn’t have known about if not for her. The building is cute, I love all the plants by the front window. It really is a great environment. And one of the best perks is scheduling/rescheduling is an absolute breeze! I genuinely love this place. Thank you Caitlin and Hedwigs for always providing the best!!

Came in for a blow out and hair styling. Sabrina did a fantastic job and my hair(which gets frizzy super easily) held up so well even after a couple hours outside in 90 degree and humid weather. She also gave me some good tips about styling and hair care. Will definitely return if I’m ever in the area!

Y’all. This place is amazing. The atmosphere is so chill. They schedule plenty of time for services so nothing is rushed. They still require masks, which is great, since we’re still in a pandemic. I went to another salon in April and the hairstylist gave me the opposite of what I asked for. At Hedwig’s, I was able to book an appointment online for the first available appointment. I saw Caitlin. She took the time to ask what I wanted. She asked me about my hair and how I take care of it. She actually listened and said that the haircut I wanted would look really cute. Caitlin took her time with my hair and the end result shows. It’s absolutely perfect. It’s just what I wanted. It’s so cute. I love it so much! I will be back. Thank you, Hedwig’s! 🥰🤩

Update: just got my second haircut 4/10/21 and love it just as much as last time. I just got home from the best haircut I've ever had. Sabrina was amazing, she knows how to cut curly hair and is such a nice person. She spent time going back in and shaping my hair, and the result is amazing. She gave me great tips that I'll actually be able to use, as someone who doesn't do much with my hair. I appreciate that the salon takes time between customers to sanitize. It's a wonderful atmosphere, I'll definitely be coming back.

I've had the same hairdresser for 19 years and decided to make a change . I'm absolutely thrilled that I did! Sabrina was professional and personable. She asked good questions and listened carefully to what I wanted for my haircut. I think short haircuts are challenging to do well but Sabrina nailed it! My hair looks exquisite. I also want to add that Sabrina and I were the only two people at Hedwig's. I'm an older person and I felt very safe in the salon.

There's a lot of talented stylists at Hedwig's. Vanessa is so wonderfully inventive, her handiwork is instantly recognizable on the streets, especially in RW and the East Side. She's also got a knack for recognizing other talents apparently: Cassidy and Sabrina (sorry haven't sat for Ashlee yet) are also incredible. Need more convincing? I'm 2-0 for job interviews when my hair was cut by Vanessa beforehand. Boom.

They are so humble, but are truly Milwaukee's premiere hair cut designers. I love the environment, the relaxing wash, but most of all the fact that they focus on haircutting alone. I have hard-to-cut hair because it is both fine and unevenly curly, plus I'm a picky client who wants to simply wash and wear my style--basically a hair stylists nightmare ;-) I have gone to salons all over Milwaukee and even a couple in Chicago, but have had the best haircut at Hedwig salon, by both Cassidy and Vanessa.
