If your looking for a good colorist and OK cut. This is place to go for it. But if you want anything more complicated go down the road. My stylist assured me she could do fades and undercuts. She couldn't, she literally used a white pencil and scissors to make a super amateurish attempt. Even though I asked her numerous times about her skill set. When pushed she said "well I'm not a North side barbershop." No honey u just don't have the skills that someone literally down the block has. A one trick that wasted my time and money.

Great local hair stylists! I have been seeing Joe at hairy's hair bar for 4 years after a recommendation from my partner. He has been working with Kristy for about 10 years. Highly recommend!!!

I see a stylist here by the name of Kristi and I won't trust anyone else with my hair. She is an amazing stylist and quite fun to chat with as well, very friendly and personable. I also enjoy the large windows here, great for watching people and traffic while you're enjoying your services. I absolutely love that they're comfortable doing more hip and trendy colors and cuts here as many salons either aren't familiar with them or aren't willing to do them. Whatever you're looking for you'll be able to achieve it here. ♡

Everyone was so nice from the time I made the appointment until I walked in. Kristi was a godsend to my hair and my sanity. She was always making sure I had everything I needed and was totally honest with me when I told her the look I was going for and what it would take to get there. She's a true professional as are all the people that work at the salon. Definitely going to see her again and I know that my hair is in safe, secure hands!

I only get my hair cut twice a year, and I only do it here! Joe is awesome! They are all awesome! It's fun to talk about whatever with Joe as he chips away at my thick dome. I never really have a great idea of What I want my hair to look like when I go in, but Joe always makes me ecstatic about the way my hair looks on the way out! If you have to wait for your stylist, no big deal. Just crack open a free Schlitz tall boy and enjoy the wait!!!

The ONLY place to get your hair styled! I have been going to Hairy's for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. Fun, hip and lively decor. The owner, Daelynn, and her expert stylists are friendly and professional. Come get your mane cut by the best!

Joe is the only person I will let touch my hair! I have very long, wavy hair that I wear straight and he is the only stylist I've known who dries and straightens my hair before he cuts it so that it actually looks like it's supposed to when I do it at home. His experience and creativity is unmatched and he is truly one of the nicest guys ever.

Great atmosphere and great people. First time ever coming here and I felt like I have been coming here for years. Everyone that I met was very hospitable and didn't make it seem like they didn't have time for you. My haircut came out just the way I wanted, I wasn't given a sales pitch to buy products (like a lot of other places), and now I refuse to go anywhere else. Do yourself a favor... make your next appointment here.

I've been going to Hairy's for years. I recommend it to everyone, and have never had someone that went be disappointed. I've gone in more than once thinking I knew what I wanted to try next with my hair, only to have her talk things over with me and have us mutually conclude that I wouldn't have been happy with how my original request would've panned out. I've never left feeling anything less than thrilled. She listens to what I say, actually comprehends it, and makes sure I'll be happy with the outcome. Everyone there is so nice. If you talk to them, they will listen to you. If you expect them to read your mind and you end up unhappy... that's on you.

Actually I have friends who go here to get their hair done or colored. Dayelynn does a great job with multicolored manes. I'm one of the 13 artists who are all members of the art coop next door run by Dayelynn and George: eKlectiKollective and G'Day Gallery art gallery. Open limited hours, but lots of neat artistic items in a small space. Don't wait for the next Bay View Gallery night, come on down and take a look.

The place has a "Cheers" vibe - friendly, laid back, everybody-knows-your-name kind of atmosphere. High marks to Dayelynn, my hairdresser; she listens closely to what I say I want, and consistently delivers. (For what it's worth, I do get stopped by strangers and asked who cuts my hair.) Hairys is right across the street from Cafe Corazon, so you can kill two birds with one parking job.

Dog Tired Daycare

My daughter and I love Hairys Hair Bar. My staff at Dog Tired recommended that I go there to get an asymetrical hair cut. They are the ONLY place that "gets" what this is! My daughter is in high school - always looking for the latest style and colors. Hairy's always delivers. Please do not be swayed by a few negative reviews. I've been going here since 1999. They do such a stellar job and they are such good people that even though I've moved 2000 miles away I make sure to schedule my haircut in a way that when I'm back in town I can get it done by them. I probably get for haircuts a year and only one in the town I live in.
