Julia is incredible, she deserves every single rave review she gets. She's super kind and straightforward, obviously knows a ton, and gives you tips that are tailored to your routine and needs. It's also a bonus that the products she uses are either unscented or lightly scented, I've always had issues with other stylists using products that irritated my sensitive scalp. My hair is super happy and so am I; I'll definitely be back in the future. Thanks Julia!

After trying to find a new person to cut my hair since moving to Milwaukee 2 years ago, I finally found someone I am excited to go back to cut my hair. Julia has a passion for cutting and styling curls and will teach you how to treat your curls better to get the best hair days. I love her studio and I had a nice time chatting with Julia. Julia is a hair whisperer! I have had my hair cut by many people but she was was first person to be able to bring out the natural curl in my hair. Book your appointments now because she is usually booked up 2-3 months in advance. Worth the wait though! I can't wait for my next visit!

I take poor care of my hair but I've also got a ton of it. I don't know a lot about managing curly hair and Julia did a great job and explained in depth what she was doing and why. My hair looks and feels great! I'll definitely be returning, I'm super happy with the cut and the service. The classic little storefront converted into a salon space is also really charming. This is a good local business.

Julia is great! She took the time to explain everything she was doing so that I could replicate the look at home. She answered all of my questions and made product recommendations but didn't pressure me into buying what she has for sale at the store (though I did end up buying the conditioner because I liked it!). I drove ~40 minutes to see Julia and I will continue to do so for future hair cuts!

As a guy with curly hair I was so upset when a barber would absolutely butcher my curls. I had horrible trust issues with anyone who came into contact with my hair. Julia literally changed my life. Not only did she cut my curls the right way, she brought them back to life. Julia is the only person on this earth I trust with the top of my head. If you need your curls to look more defined, have more volume, and look hydrated and healthy. Then Julia is the woman for you.
