A GEM! Finding Kayleigh when I moved to Louisville was more than just getting a fabulous cut and color - finding the best stylist in town at Poppy & Rod Salon helped make this city feel like home. My experiences there have always been phenomenal. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The entire team at P&R has that “it” factor you don’t find just anywhere. If you’re looking for great hair and cool vibes, this is your place. Highly recommend to anyone, but especially to that gal trying to find some constants in this city.

I will never get my hair done anywhere else! Kayleigh is so knowledgeable, professional, and personal which makes sitting in her chair a breeze especially with the long, thick hair that I have. Each time I see her I leave feeling so confident and happy with what she does with my hair. The salon itself is so cute and chic too, which makes the experience that much more enjoyable and comfortable. I will always recommend getting your hair done here!

10/10 an incredible experience. I had never had my hair professionally styled before, and I wasn't feeling great going in to get styled for a wedding. Hannah was so sweet in walking me through what was and wasn't possible from the inspiration pictures I brought in, and took into account everything I told her about my hair (very straight and doesn't hold a curl well, very thick and a lot of it!). The results were stellar and held up through a long day and night of celebrating. Before having my hair done I didn't think that it would end up being worth it - now I will swear to you it was worth EVERY PENNY.

I got my hair cut by the owner, Kayleigh, and she was fantastic! She was friendly and professional and the salon was beautiful and very clean. After listening to me describe what I was looking for she gave me exactly the haircut I wanted and also gave me some tips for treating my hair. Her assistant who washed and blowdried my hair was also great! The price for the cut was more expensive than I would have expected but I think it was worth it. I'd definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great haircut in Louisville :)

Quickly able to get on schedule. The atmosphere was down to earth but with both professional and fun vibes. Josh is an amazing professional and made me feel absolutely gorgeous with the haircut and color! The best hair cut and color I have ever had 100% I mean there is some extreme talent and expertise in this place! Will definitely be back!

I found this salon by walking by one day. The inside is designed beautifully. The staff is goes above and beyond for their clients. I have ever gotten my hair to look so shiny, smooth and last as long as it does when I leave Poppy & Rod. Plus the music is always a vibe! The best salon hands down!
