Nova Salon is fantastic. I've been going regularly for more than a year now and I've never left with a haircut that I didn't feel fantastic about. Everyone I've interacted with has been so friendly, and the stylists take great care to listen to what you want and execute it well. They may offer you some additional products, but they don't pressure you or over-offer like some places I've been. Finally, in the time of Covid, they take their precautions seriously, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend this salon.

NOVA Salon is awesome! After moving to Louisville, this place came highly recommended by several friends. Jacqueline is THE BEST! She is so warm and welcoming. This salon has the best customer service I've ever experienced. From the phone call to schedule my first appointment, to the end of my first visit....it was PHENOMENAL. They personalize your visit 100%, spend lots of time reviewing your wishes with you prior to starting anything. I had a haircut and style....my stylist, Alexis, was AMAZING. Not only did she do a fantastic job on my hair, but she explained everything along the way....how to add volume to my hair while blow drying, what type of products to use etc. I have a lot of trouble curling or styling my own hair, so she walked me through what to do and actually let me practice in front of her so she could teach me how to improve my technique. With all this fantastic service, you'd think the prices would be outrageous. But their prices are extremely reasonable. AND they give you a little gift at the end of your first visit. I would highly recommend this salon to all of my family and friends, and I will most definitely be back!

Absolutely loved my experience at Nova Salon! I recently moved to Louisville from Dayton, Ohio. I was looking for a new salon since the move and was recommended by a friend to go to Nova. I made my appointment with Kylie Rhew and she was fantastic! You can tell that she loves what she does! She asked me questions to come up with my personal profile in order to be able to give me the results I was looking for. After a cut, color, and style I walked out of the salon very satisfied with my hairstyle! Kylie also talked me through tips during the styling process to help me achieve the look at home which I greatly appreciated. The experience you will have at this salon stands apart and I am happy to have found a salon for me in my new city!

I just moved to Louisville about two months ago and it is seriously nerve wracking to find a new stylist that you trust. I took a chance and booked an appointment at Bennie & Friends (now known as Nova Salon). Karissa was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in. She showed me around the spa, examined my current color and told me how she was going to make it better than ever. She gave me the best balayage I have ever had. Karissa also ensured I was comfortable the entire time during the coloring process, shampoo, and cut. She was able to give me a new stylish look and take a lot of weight off my heavy hair. Karissa also did my eyebrow waxing and even filled them in. Throughout the whole process she provided me with tips on styling my hair at home, shampoos that will help keep the color, and makeup tips while staying positive and peppy the whole time. I think she was more excited about how everything was going to turn out than I was. Definitely the best experience I have had with a professional colorist and stylist.

Very beautiful salon- the aesthetics were lovely and everyone seemed very nice. For someone who doesn’t spend a ton on hair/makeup, this place was pricey (over $100 including tip for a wash, cut, style, and I purchased one product). Many may feel this is a good deal though! My stylist was super sweet and definitely knew what she was doing! I will be returning for sure!

Not only are they going above and beyond on safety procedures for COVID, the haircuts still have their wonderful, high-end experience. Unfortunately the price for a 9 year old haircut is increasing from 30 to 50 dollars so I think we will look around for somewhere else. I got partial highlights. KATIE did an amazing job, I asked her for bright blonde and to be out of the salon fast. I normally have super dark brown hair so lifting it to a cool blonde can be difficult and damaging. She did it in under 2 hours and with as little damage as possible. I paid about $80. Where do I start? These people are just amazing. I can't exactly remember who did my hair, but I think her name is Katie. She did what I thought was impossible. My hair was a dark red, within an hour and a half my hair was a light blonde. Not even a little yellow tent, which is what I was worried about. It was gorgeous! It would of taken one more session for it to be the exact color I wanted, but i had zero complaints about how my hair turned out.
