I’ve never felt so comfortable and happy in a salon. It’s a beautiful, sunny space and everyone is friendly and kind. Angus is awesome. He does a beautiful job with my short, curly cut every time. Talmo is super queer-friendly and gender-inclusive. The half hour I spend there is always a bright spot in my week.

Talmo salon is amazing. Their staff is excellent, the facilities are clean with free parking. They Salon also offers inclusive haircuts for all genders and all ages. I highly recommend this for anyone in the greater Burlington area!

I saw Rachel Goldstein the other day and had a great experience! I'm in a related field as an esthetician but have always said I'm good at growing hair and that's about it. Rachel listened to my limitations/concerns (chronically ill, not a morning person, need to be able to put it up in a bun for work, and have had it cut shorter than I wanted too many times to count), didn't dismiss any of them, and whipped up a cut that I can wash and wear easily and shows off my natural wave/curl pattern. I've had a lot of stylists over the years who seemed to hear me but then gave me a cut that required more maintenance, tools, or product than I could handle day-to-day. She was happy to recommend products when I asked but didn't push anything (love that). I washed it last night and today it looks like I styled it. Low-effort beauty is magical, thanks Rachel! A couple things about Talmo Hair Co overall: queer friendly and body positive as hell! woo! I'd feel comfortable referring neurodivergent folks here too, knowing they'd be heading to a non-judgmental place. The physical space itself is also so cool. Big, bold, colorful art, great light and high ceilings, and the only shampoo bowl that I've encountered that doesn't attempt to give me a migraine from neck pinching. 10/10.

I’ve been going to Talmo since the end of 2020. I’ve loved every cut that I’ve gotten and their color service is wonderful. The salon has a great atmosphere with art from the owner and local artists! I also appreciate that gratuity is included in the prices so you know the cost upfront and don’t have to figure out what to tip!
