This was my 1st cut since the pandemic started. I felt comfortable with the changes they made. Capacity was limited, the chairs were separated by plastic barriers, I saw chairs get disinfected after use, and the staff were all wearing masks. I was very nervous about my appointment, but the staff were all incredibly nice and easy to talk to after not having interacted with anyone new in several months. My stylist listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable. I look forward to my next appointment!

I’m so excited about my new hair style. Marissa at Stephen and Burns did a partial highlight/ balayage for my dark brown/almost black hair plus a haircut. She spent so much time perfecting the look I was going for. The highlights are perfectly blended, the cut is just as I requested and everything about it exceeds my expectations. Ive had my hair highlighted many times before and each time ended up with orange/brassy coloring. I’m very happy to say that after Marissas hard work the coloring is perfection! I highly recommend!

I have had several facials with Ewa - I regularly come for these and these are 5 STARS! I love Ewa's facials. I enjoy a facial much more than a full body massage. Ewa cleans, exfoliates, moisturizes and my skin glows afterwards. Very gentle, never rough.

I have been going to Ewa for years and she is simply the best! The new salon is beautiful and very spacious. And the easy and free parking is a bonus! My one piece of feedback is that the spa area, and especially the room that is closest to Williston Road, is really noisy. It sort of takes the relaxation out of the spot treatment. I'm hoping they can come up with a way to dull the noise from the road. Thanks!

Stephen Rainville is such an excellent stylist. I have been seeing him for a long time and have recommended a number of people to him.. If you want someone who knows how to treat a haircut like a work of art, you will not be disappointed. He is also a wizard with hair coloring.

The best and most professional salon experience ever!. I no longer have a tedious morning process getting my hair under control each morning (no more hot rollers or curling iron). Liz clearly understands hair and is very conscientious in asking me how the last cut/color worked, what needs to be the same or different for the day's appointment. I have been going to Stephen & Burns for over a year now and I have had such great haircuts and highlights from Britney. She is a master stylist and it shows. She is knowledgeable about what will look good on me and my cuts are always easily to style myself at home (which is the sign of a great cut). The salon atmosphere is inviting to me and I LOVE their tea that they provide. I would highly recommend this salon. I have never had a bad experience and will continue to frequent Stephen & Burns!

Ewa gives the best facials in the world and is so knowledgable, Stephen made my hair feel better than ever before and listened so carefully to what I wanted and exceeded expectations, and the front staff couldn't have been more organized, efficient, or helpful. This is such a warm and welcoming salon and I always love the work of the hair stylists. They listen to what you want and follow through, plus they can be creative and give you a whole new look. The colorists are great too, Aveda color seems to last a long time with true color. Plus the salon smells amazing and they have excellent coffee! It's my go-to place for my hair. Like a mini-vacation.

It’s pricey, but I enjoyed my massage with Clancy. She was very friendly and calming. I like that she was vocal and let me know that I could request a change in pressure, but let me relax. The aromatherapy and oils were very nice. I would definitely go again, especially as a treat to myself.

Massage review: Although the price is a little high, and they cut the times (but not the prices) on their 90min and 60min massages down to 50 and 80, I still recommend Stephen & Burns for massages. The atmosphere is very soothing and I've never had a "bad" massage there. There seems to be a relatively high turnover of masseuses, but trying out new ones is kind of fun. The employees have always been very pleasant. When I really want a good massage, I choose S&B.

First off I want to say I have been going to Stephen and Burns for many many years and Ewa is the only esthetician I will use... she is wonderful! Kinda, courteous, pleasant and treats her clients as she would a friend. Makes for a wonderful experience every time! Even with the new policies and procedures in place with COVID, everything was clean and I felt as comfortable and safe in the environment as I ever did. I recommend booking an apt with Ewa at Stephen and Burns

Love this salon, unfortunately my stylist left but since then have tried two others and they both did a great job. Color is good, but I've had better (Jac Huntley) although both are pretty pricey. Ewa is the best esthetician I've ever had, exceptionally close eye to detail and so much care for her clients. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Stephen and Burns is a great salon. I lost my hair dresser of 27 years and searched for 5 years to find a place that listened to what I was looking for and truly provided good customer service. I get regular haircuts, waxing and periodic facials - all great! Stacy and Ewa are awesome!! Now, with all that said, the pricing is a bit on the high side, but for me it's totally worth it.

Treating myself and my mane to the greatest of cuts is truly a pleasure at S&Bs. It smells awesome and there are warm towels with lavender and it really kicks off the whole experience!

It doesn't get better than a massage with Billie! Walk into Stephen and Burns and you are instantly made to feel welcome - take your coat, offer hot or cold beverage, and a beautifully decorated waiting area. Staff are totally professional, while being friendly and welcoming. The massage area is upstairs, tucked away from the bustle of the salon; the music there is subtle, colors are muted and the whole effect is quiet and relaxing. Have a massage with BILLIE and feel fabulous! She listens to what you want or need, and she delivers. Her skills are exceptional - I always feel fabulous.

My fiance sent me to this place because it was my birthday and I was on my third trimester and needed some pampering. I had a massage which was great. The girl was really nice and her hands felt like heaven. I also had a "pedicure" $75 and I'm not sure why. I had my toe nails trimmed, had a gel rubbed and top of my feet and then nail polish. That was it. I don't know why I didn't ask before hand. You normally get a pedi at a nail salon and you get a full package for $40 or less. Besides my "pedi" experience, the staff seemed nice. Maybe a little too nice.

Went in for color - wanted my roots done and some lowlights. Ended up w a dark all over color- way darker than the original base- plus lowlights which were even darker - the end result looks like a bad wig. Headed to a different salon to have it fixed. Definite communication barrier between me and the stylist. Money down the drain- pretty expensive for such a bad result.

My massage was pretty good, although last time they kept me waiting over 30 minutes. I would have liked a little more deep tissue massage, but that's just a preference. Overall good environment though, and the therapist was very professional and friendly.

Ive had pretty good experiences at this place. Folks are always friendly and kind. I have had some inconsistency in hair color pricing from different stylists during consultations that kept me from pursuing that service. Mostly Im giving 3 stars because they need to invest in their adminisitration and customer service. Everytime I call for an appointment I have to call at least 3-5x cause they are busy on the line. I have had appointments cancelled /not in the system when I arrive for services, and notes from consultations on hair color have not been saved to my record as they had been promised to on two occasions. For the price of services, there need to be more reliability accesibility to customer service. Again great spa and salon services, but lacking admin.

I can not say enough positive things....the people who work here, go above and beyond. Several people literally stepped in to help my heartbroken 14 year old daughter who had a bad experience (at another salon) with highlights....and they got her in right away and completely solved the problem. I personally have been going to Stephen and Burns for over 15 years...I love the work they do, and most of all, I love the caring, talented, people who make Stephen & Burns such a great place....I'll never go anywhere else.
