I had a fantastic experience with Amy yesterday, she really took the time to understand what I needed in terms of color, cut, and lightening my look without making me feel washed out. Plus the space is beautiful, and easy parking across the street.

Although I’m lucky to still have hair at my age, it is very difficult to cut and has frustrated many stylists. Shawnna is incredibly skilled and talented, and always does an amazing job taming and styling my hair. She is truly an artist. She’s also incredibly professional and kind. The Silla salon space is impeccably clean with stylish ambiance. The entire staff is professional and courteous.

Silla was recommended to me after searching for a hair salon in VT that uses a more natural hair color brand (O&M color). I had a free consultation with Shawnna a few days ahead of my appointment because I wasn't sure if I should do more highlights or an all-over color. Both the consultation and the 2 appointments I've had since have been awesome! Shawnna is wonderful -- very professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. The salon itself has a beautiful, modern design and calm atmosphere -- it's also felt very safe to go during COVID-19 given their safety protocols.

I am so happy for this beautiful new location. It is no surprise that Shawnna has accomplished so much and has grown into a successful and independent salon owner. She has been doing my hair for over a decade now and have never ever been disappointed, always happy with the overall experience. Her coloring skills are tight and she listens to what you want and in my case, don't want. When i see other people's poor color jobs, i always work in my advice to go see Shawnna. This new location finally reflects her vision and classy clean style. I am excited to have this close to home and I am looking forward to keep up with its growth and success, because it is inevitable.

I hadn't gotten my hair cut in two years, I am VERY protective of it because it takes the right person to cut my thick and wavy hair! The stylists at Silla were professional, charismatic and talented. I felt very welcomed and comfortable through my wash, cut and blow out. Huge plus that the space is GORGEOUS, lots of natural light, chic design and lots of mirrors for before and after pics ;). Next time I need my haircut I won't have to wait so long, I will totally be returning! Thank you Silla!

Shawnna is literally the best hair stylist/colorist I’ve ever been to. She always goes above and beyond to give me exactly what I ask for, even if it is something as small as a slightly cooler shade of blonde she makes it happen. She is so good, that when I’m traveling and decide to get my hair blown out at any other salon, I always get so many compliments on the color! I will follow her to whichever salon she goes to and when she opened up Silla, I was so excited to go to a place that she created. The space is so beautiful and so calming and every detail from the decor, to the hair washing stations and product lines are well thought out. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Wow! What a beautiful new salon right in downtown Burlington!! I have been having my hair done by Shawnna for years, and always feel like a new person when she is done working her magic. She is truly talented, wonderfully consistent and simply an awesome person. Silla is an absolutely stunning space, and I am super excited to start getting facials there by Sonia. After seeing her clients' glowing skin, I am sold!

Shawnna's cuts and highlights are on point - I met Shawnna after moving back to Vermont from NYC/Boston. She possesses talent that I feel is rare in this area. I highly recommend visiting her in her new, beautiful space that is the perfect balance between clean, light, modern and elegant. Parking was not an issue for me.
