Was helped by the stylist Annie and she did a great job. asked me great questions and provided examples and info and checked how i was feeling about the cut every step of the way. easily provided me with a color consultation bundled with my haircut and helped me schedule appointments for my future plans.
Really awesome trans-friendly place that doesnt gender their haircuts and instead charge by length which really made me feel included as a trans non-binary person. extremely reasonably priced too! i will be back!
Rachel ZellemJust came from my first haircut at Chop Shop and it was a great experience. Annie was a professional and friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her. I was going for a little bit of a change and she did a great job of hearing what I wanted and talking me through the options. The space was comfy and the vibe was solid, and I felt like I got a lot of bang (pun?) for my buck. I'll definitely be going back!
JEF FI always get a barber cut from Glen, the owner. He is efficient, professional, and friendly enough. Another stylist, Ashley(?) did a great job on my son’s curly hair. Chop Shop is open and airy, modern feel. They follow COVID-19 protocol closely. I recommend to friends!
William LindauI had my hair cut by Glenn and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He had a lot of great advice about how to better my hair and he listened to what I was looking for. For men’s haircuts, ask for Glenn! Also, great atmosphere and all-around clean place.

Daron BlakeI am only in town for a few weeks and really needed a new haircut. Since I was unfamiliar with the area, I relied solely on online reviews of local hair salons. I'm so glad that I read the reviews of the Chop Shop and made an appointment. This place was wonderful. The space is open and comfortable with beautiful local art on the walls. The staff were VERY friendly and extremely helpful. My hair stylist was Dawn. I brought in photos of hairstyles that I admired and asked her for her opinion on what would work with my hair type. She gave her professional opinion and also asked more questions of what I was looking for, so that together we came up with an idea that combined the styles I liked and what she knew would work best with my curly, sometimes frizzy hair. I felt that she really took the time to make sure she knew what I wanted before she started cutting. She did an excellent job, it was the best haircut I've ever had. I can't say enough about how easy and comfortable the experience was and how pleased I am with the professionalism and the quality of work at the Chop Shop. I give it the highest recommendations!
