I wanted to come in a second time before writing a review, cause there's just no way these people are this nice all the time. Spoiler alert: They are! Both times have been absolutely great experiences. Francisca is so patient and understanding and makes the whole service so comfortable and anxiety free. I originally only wanted to try waxing once, but after being met with such amazing customer service the first time, and now the second time, it has become part of my monthly routine. The ladies at the front desk are also so so sweet and informative. This is the place to go to for first timers, or for anyone who waxes regularly for that matter. They have almost 5 stars for a reason! Also, you get amazing samples your first time that actually do what they're supposed to, and smell so so good. Highly recommend.

My first time here! The lady working at the front greeted me when I walked in and was very friendly. :) The waxer I had was Monica. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and had a great personality. That wax definitely had my nerves shot but she made it an overall positive experience. I got some products at the front and already booked my next appointment !

I missed my appointment yesterday due to a work emergency, and the girls at the desk who are always great, got me rescheduled for today. The specialist I usually see regularly, Ashly , was not available, so Kayla took care of me. She was friendly, efficient, and got me in and out in no time. These people are Pro’s. Highly recommend the staff at the East location on 13th in the Waterfront.

I was with Ashley for my first ever bikini wax. I was so anxious about it and as soon as she brought me into the waxing room I felt at ease. She has such a kind and chill aura about her that I felt instantly more relaxed. She explained the whole process to me and answered all of my questions. As she did the wax she was patient with me and told me when to take deep breaths. Never at any point did I feel judged by her or awkward about what was happening. She was incredibly professional, fun, easy to talk to, and overall a master at her craft. If you’re thinking about getting a wax done, you won’t be disappointed if you go to Ashley for your first time! ❤️

From the first phone call to book my appointment, to my waxing, I had a fantastic experience! The appointment setter answered all questions I had over the phone and made setting the appointment very easy. I'm terrible with names or I'd have referred to her by name. When I arrived the front desk staff was amazing. My appointment was with Kat, and she was phenomenal! I let her know it was my first time and she talked me through each step. Even let me know that if for any reason I decided it wasn't for me, I just needed to let her know and we would stop immediately. She kept the conversation flowing, and let me ramble on to help keep me distracted. Kat also did a great job checking in periodically to make sure I was okay. She tend recommended me great products for between waxing. I set Mt follow up appt on my way out. 10/10 would recommend EWC for all your waxing needs.

I had never had a wax before and wasn’t sure where to go but seen that this was a popular place in Wichita. I had no idea which specialist to choose but I read reviews and chose JESSICA! I went in terrified with high anxiety but she made me as comfy as can be and reassured me that I’d be fine! She walked me through each step and talked to me the entire time (helped extremely). She was patient. She also walked me through breathing every step of the way which I would’ve never made it thru my wax without that! Love her super great energy and positivity. She was very informative on wax care and their products as well. I will be returning and sticking with Jessica for sure! She’s all around amazing.

Today I had my first Brazilian! I have always wanted to do it, but I for whatever reason couldn’t bring myself up to scheduling something. But I’m so glad I finally did!!! Ashley took really good care of me. She was very informative throughout the whole service and I appreciated that especially being a first time waxer. This place is a great place to get a Brazilian wax. I have gone to another salon which I will not name that waxes, but it is not their specialty. This is the specialty of European Wax Center. I was in and out in 15 minutes, they got all the hair, it was professional, it was comfortable and wasn't awkward. I personally had Abby and she was great, very good at her job. I will be going back. Matter of fact I will be getting the buy 9 get 3 free special. That's how impressed I was. The place is very clean and welcoming. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. It’s a little on the pricey side, but they did such an amazing job that I’m willing to pay every time. Staff was very kind, especially the girl I went with - Emily. I will continue to use her every time. She did such a great job on my eyebrows!! My first eyebrow wax was free so that was a great plus. They have a variety of brow products and some other things. ALEXA IS QUEEEEN! When I schedule an appointment, I walk in sit down for maybe 2 mins (if that) and then I’m taken back. So quick and easy and the best service. The front counter girls are sweet and helpful and the atmosphere is spa like! Alexa B is amazing. I literally won’t go to anywhere/ one but her. I refer anyone who ever comments on my brows and even those who don’t. Cannot recommend her and EWC enough.

First time here. My wax specialist (Addie) was knowledgeable, professional, and fast. I did have to wait about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment to get in though. Front desk personnel are nice (though a little curt) and, for the services I got, really affordable pricing. This salon doesn't have a "fat tax" for services, either. Pricing is fair and the same for everyone no matter ur weight. It's a really nice looking place too - great decor, reasonable volume of music, and private rooms that, while a bit small, have high ceilings - giving the feeling of more room. Overall, a really great experience. I rebooked before I left - which is really rare for me. It's worth a try especially for bigger ladies. My specialist didn't even blink when she saw me and never made me feel bad about anything - especially not my size. She was professional but also you could tell she really didn't care whether I was large or small. She really just enjoys her job and loves people. It's difficult to find though. It's a small studio squashed between a restaurant and a massage spa - so easy to miss of you've never been before and don't know what you're looking for. Other than that, there wasn't a bad part of this visit.

I went here last night for just an underarm wax for my free first-timers special. I was in and out, the gal that did my wax talked me through everything and explained what each product was and their purpose as she used them. It was very clean, everyone was very professional. They use hard wax, and I had almost no pain. They are a little pricey but I think it would be worth it. I think it’s safe to say I’ll be going back for a Brazilian here soon! Edit from 1 star to 3. Received a call yesterday. They apologized and wanted to make it right. Unfortunately I already shaved so I couldn't get it touched up for the wedding. But they did stand behind their work and made it right with me. I appreciate a company that values their customers. My technician was nice and made me feel comfortable but that is where my good experience ended. I spent over $200 for waxing a week before my wedding even as a first time customer I only got a $25 discount. I've not had professional waxing done before this but assumed that it would remove all hair like I have done at home. My eyebrows were the only thing done to an acceptable standard. I would guess that 40% of my hair was actually waxed. 40% was a very painful shave job, because it was just broke off at the skin level and was stubbly and rough within hours and had to be shaved off with the remaining 20% of my hair that was still long and visibly missed from the waxing. She told me my hair was the perfect legth for waxing and everything. I was looking forward to not shaving over my honeymoon but that will not be the case. I am very disappointed and will not be returning.

As most females would be, I was scared. This is going to be so painful I thought. Some girls at work had raved about how great getting a brazillian wax is so I finally decided to do it. If you are a first time goer at this business, you can get an eyebrow wax, a bikini line wax and some of the others they offer for FREE. The brazillian was 1/2 price since it was my first time. My waxer was Jessica. Shes very bubbly and happy and made me feel at ease explaining everything to me before and as she did it. Did it hurt? Yes but it only hurts for maybe 5 seconds. The thing that made it worth it for me was that your hair literally does not grow back for over 2 weeks after the first time you do it. After the 2nd time, it will stay baby bottom smooth for 3 weeks!!! It is worth it!! It feels amazing too! Tell them Tammy Gray sent you for a discount!!

The service went well, Kala did a great job making me feel comfortable also very friendly and easy to talk to made the appointment go quicker and not so awkward. She also gave me some sample serums to take home and recommended me a product. The serum did it’s thing for sure! I also purchased the product and I do like it. Pertains to my needs and does the job.
