I had an amazing session with Whitney for a facial and dermaplaning. She was so pleasant, thorough, and non-judgmental about my complete lack of skin care knowledge. She guided me through each process as she was doing it and now my skin has never felt better. Problems I thought were going to be there forever (hard spots on my chin) were immediately just gone without any evidence they had even been there to begin with. Getting a facial and dermaplaning seemed like a splurge, but now I want to figure out a way to incorporate it into a regular skin care regimen because it has made me look and feel 5 years younger. FYI, I believe Whitney is moving to the new Navy Yard location opening later this year. I highly recommend her. Speaking to my overall experience, the entire place is so clean and quiet and the receptionist was kind and efficient.

Best facial I've ever had HANDS DOWN! I get facials every other month so I'm not new to them and the experience I had this weekend at Silver Mirror Dupont circle with Lauren far surpassed the facials I've had before. When you first walk in the environment is squeaky clean, modern, and calm. The facials themselves are done behind curtains because they have a no closed door policy--but despite that fact it still felt private and serene. I was very relaxed the whole time and my aesthetician Lauren explained everything she was doing along the way, which I appreciated given it was my first time at this place and with this type of facial (seasonal hydrating). The products they use are top of the line and my skin came out literally GLOWING afterward because of it. Highly recommend Silver Mirror and I can't thank Lauren enough for making my skin radiant!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Silver Mirror at both Dupont and the new location in Navy Yard! I started going there over a year ago for a monthly facial and got a membership. I have always suffered with horrible acne and never found dermatologists helpful. Nothing ever changed, no matter the medicine (yes, I did accutane 3 times and have tried ever topical and oral medication in the book). I've had a few different treatments done at Silver Mirror over the past year, mostly the acne fighting facial, as well as biweekly acne clarifying peels. These were incredibly beneficial for me. I've had a few estheticians (all incredible), but Maraki has transformed my skin the past six+ months! She is wonderful, cares SO much for her clients, and I cannot thank her enough. YES, it is pricey. But for the pain (physically and mentally) that my acne used to cause me, I would go biweekly to Maraki a million times over!

You can just tell how dedicated and committed she is as she never leaves any stones unturned as she carries out my facial services. She is ever so kind and very engaging in our conversations as she carries out her services. Silver Mirror will definitely continue to see me for years to come.

My skin feels amazing!! I had the 30 min. signature facial with Anisa Ghafoorzai. I liked the environment, with nice music being played and modern furniture in the entrance. In addition to looking over my forms, they looked over all of the products to make sure none of them had ingredients I needed to avoid. Anisa didn’t just apply the ingredients, she massaged them gently into my face. She also made sure that my edges were covered and stayed dry. I’d book early since they tend to be pretty busy during peak times. I was so happy that products were gently recommended instead of pushed, which got me to pick up a moisturizer and lip balm. Will definitely be coming back again.

I would highly recommend this place. Ive been suffering from cystic acne since the pandemic and coming here is like the calm during the storm. Today I had a 50min facial with Whitney and she was super gentle, communicative and professional. I left feeling like “wow, I needed that”. This place is pricey but Im not mad at it because it felt worth it. This is actually my third time to this location and I will always recommend this spot. I was glad I could get an early morning booking because they book quickly. Thank you again!

They use good tech like LED light therapy but this is NOT a spa experience. They won’t explain products as they apply them, they don’t get applied to your neck, it’s an open area so you’ll have other customers swarming around you. If you’re in a room the door will stay open. I also didn’t really get a skin consultation either. I just don’t feel it’s worth that price when the service is so bare bones. It really feels like a get in get out type of place.

This place is great! I’ve been going for the last 3 months as part of the monthly membership. It’s a great deal and I’ve seen so many improvements with my skin already! I’ve seen Olga and Alex and they are both exceptional. Facials are tailored to the season and to you. No two facials have been the same yet! Also, I love that they suggest a few products at the end but they don’t try to up sell/ pressure you in to buying. The only downside is the website is not super user friendly and you can’t really see scheduled appointments or any account details. Not enough to deduct any stars cause you can just call and they will sort you right out!

The only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because the owner is super nice & welcoming; I’ve also encountered some great estheticians. However, the customer service staff is horrible & can’t be bothered to explain things. Very oft-putting & after my last appointment, I won’t be going back. Every great new place eventually closes in DC because we don’t have good service industry folks, that’s why everything fails here but hope this place stays around. It’s convenient & I like the products they use.

I have bene struggling with acne this summer and the amazing esthetician Olga has cleared up my skin in just 2 visits. The whole experience was welcoming and professional from start to finish. They truly tailor your facial to your current skincare needs and explain everything throughout the entire process. Olga recommended products that they sell, but didn't push me to purchase any... I did purchase sunscreen, a toner and a face wash and everything is reasonably priced. I bought a monthly package (1 facial per month) and can't wait to see the result. Olga is the best! I am so happy I found Silver Mirror.

Wonderful experience! I’ve had a number of spa facials over the years and my experience with Georgia was one of the best. I had a few concerns about my skin which she spoke with me about and then treated appropriately. She was professional and extremely pleasant to talk to. I am so happy this place exists. I've been twice so far and signed up for a membership. Both of my experiences have been nothing short of amazing. My first visit was with Tatiana and my second was with Melodie. One thing I love about this place, is that they are truly result driven. Both of my sessions were customized precisely to my skin needs. I was afraid initially of a generic standard one facial fits all place since it is a facial bar. But rest assured my worries had been completely alleviated after actually going there. I recommend all my friends and colleagues. & its perfect for a lunch break escape. I will update in about 8 mos. with my skin progression. I am excited! this place is amazing. also, the front end manager Shalah was extremely welcoming and made me really comfortable.

I had a great experience here with Alex to address my acne. The estheticisn and the atmosphere was very professional. I don't like to spend money on skincare outside of what i do in my home but i think i will be signing up for a memebership because my skin needs the help! I have been struggling with adult acne since 25 and haven't been able to get it under control. I got the acne facial and i loved it. The only part that wasn't comfortable were the extractions, which were painful, but that was expected. I will update my experience after some time.

Why haven't you booked your facial yet?! Also, this will be a long review since I want to make sure I provide my full experience. This will pretty much be my response when people ask me about my skincare regimen which Silver Mirror will now be a permanent part of! I am the resident skincare junkie/expert amongst my friends and I will gladly try any skincare treatment (well, within reason)! Now as a disclaimer, I have been stalking the opening of the Dupont location since it was being built. Now on to the review. Today was my first facial at Silver Mirror and I have been looking forward to it since I booked the facial. This location is less than a three minute walk from the Dupont Circle Metro Station which makes it extremely convenient especially if you use Metro as your primary/main means of transportation. Upon walking in, I was happily greeted by Shalah who is a wonderful lady and that greeting set the mood for the rest of my visit. After checking in, I was offered water or watermelon water which either one is ideal due to the current weather in the area. However, go for the watermelon water it's absolutely delicious and thirst quenching :) Shortly thereafter, I was greeted by my new SKINCARE SAVIOR/GODDESS Melody! After walking back, there was a basket for where I could place my belongings and they provided chargers for your phone. Even though, I carry a battery pack with me at all times. The thought that was put into providing this shows just how much they are in tuned with their clients. On to the facial. When I booked my appointment, I went with their most popular one, the 50 minute Anti-Aging facial as an add-on extra extractions since it had been awhile from my last facial. Also, let me point out. I love the fact that all the facials are the same price at $135 (with the exception of the sensitive skin facial which is $125). After the initial cleansing, Melody stated that I didn't need the Anti-Aging facial or the extra extractions because my skin was beautiful (such a mood booster) and instead recommended the Brightening Facial especially since my main concern was hyperpigmentation. She also recommended the hydrating peel and let me know the cost of the add-on which was nice since I have had estheticians make "suggestions" and then you are greeting with a surprise when you go to pay. Melody made the skincare nerdy side of me especially happy when she went over each product and provided information on the benefits of each ingredient. Once we started talking more, we started discussing things like the smaller molecules and how the are absorbed into the skin, physical/chemical exfoliation, the benefits of BHAs and AHAs and so on. Like I said, she made the skincare nerdy side of me really happy. I also discussed skin concerns that my sister was dealing with and Melody recommended a facial for her and stated that she would be able to see if any add-ons would be needed once she met her. After she applied the hydrating facial, I was able to completely relax and take a short 10-minute nap (I get them in when I can). When she removed the peel, I could literally feel how refreshed and hydrated my face felt and when I looked in the mirror it confirmed what I felt. Melody and I talked about which facial I should get next and how often. She also recommended two skincare products to address my hyperpigmentation concerns without making it feel like a hard sale (which I cannot stand and can ruin a perfectly amazing experience for me) and I bought the Vitamin C cleanser she recommended. Even checking out with Shala was a relaxing and mood lifting experience. When I'm in the area and I need a mood lifter, I'm just going to stop by and see Shala :) Based on my overall experience, I bought a facial for my sister, will be booking my next appointment (I meant to do it there but got busy running my mouth) and happily shared my experience with my friends when I met up with them. To end this review, I want to ask... Why haven't you booked your facial yet?!

Just tried this place yesterday. While I don't do facials regularly, this experience might change that! I really enjoyed their anti-aging facial, and my face felt rejuvenated when I left. They did a lot of work in just 50 minutes. Melody was very sweet and explained everything she was doing. She also recommended products, but did not put on the hard sell which I appreciated. Definitely going back.

Great place! I’ve been twice, with Olga and Melodie, who were both great. The service and attention is top, I had a deep cleaning and hydration and the results are wonderful, my skin is very clean, soft and hydrated (had the facial over a week and results really show). They know what they’re doing and couldn’t be better located. Tried it and is my go-to place in DC (haven’t lived in DC for too long and got here for the reviews). VERY recommended!

The facials are really good but when I got dermaplanning the esthetician shaved off half of my eyebrow and clipped the other. I think she gave me a complementary add-on during the session as a result but I'd rather have my eyebrow hair... Update: The manager was very nice and gave me a full refund and added a complementary treatment to my account should I go back.

Website was not working to make reservations but I was able to stop in to make an appointment for the next day! After my 30 minute facial, my skin felt great! It was a relaxing experience and I was able to ask questions about the procedure throughout. I signed up for a membership afterwards and look forward to coming back next month!

Cancel your Glo30 and start coming here. I have been exfoliated, extracted, hydrated, LED lighted, oxygen’d, serum’d until infinity. The amount of treatments you get in a single session is unbelievable. One of the best facials I’ve had in DC hands down.
