The sugar wax with Lydia was absolute excellence. It's strange to describe the pulling of hair in the sensitive genital area as excellent but Lydia was professional, positive and quick. This was my first time getting a real sugar wax (I know other places sometimes falsely advertise the service but this place is legitimate) - and I highly recommend this service. Will be returning again. The establishment was clean and everyone was very welcoming. And Lydia was top tier. Parked in the lot next to the building and paid a meter. The establishment also sent detailed texts before the appointment. Very helpful.

This place is amazing. I’ve been going here since January 2021. Each technician is great and takes their time. They do have a strict cancellation policy, which seems to have caused most of the negative reviews. I don’t mind it because this is the one place I go and they see me exactly at my appointment time. I never have to wait. This is the only place I trust with my waxes.

The waxing: I had such a great experience here! Kaylie was super sweet and professional. She put me right at ease and explained everything. Sugaring is a little more tedious than traditional waxing, but slightly less painful, and my skin seemed way happier afterwards. Scheduling experience: I’ve seen a few bad reviews referencing the strict policies. While it’s true they are very strict about showing up on time, masking, cancellations, etc, you should be good if you review the policies beforehand and plan to arrive a bit early. I think it’s worth it for a convenient & good quality establishment but that’s just my 2¢!

Organic Sugaring Center is hands down the best place I’ve been to for waxing services. The staff is always superior nice and professional. I’ve never had to wait before my appointment and they certainly DO NOT rush through your appointment. As a black woman, the sugaring has done wonders for my skin. There’s way less hair when it starts to grow back and the damage I caused from shaving is slowly fading away as well. I have no complaints about any of the staff. I’ve worked with a few but Claire is my go to every time.

I can't say enough positive things about this place. I always receive top notch service when I go and these ladies are so incredibly warm and friendly. The service is fast as well, which is a plus. I travel from southern Maryland all the way to Bethesda to get waxed by them.

I have been going to see Claire at the Organic Sugaring Center for 7 years now since 2014 when they were at a different location and I continue to follow them to their new location on Montgomery Ave for their professionalism, cleanliness, great quality, and punctuality They are ALWAYS ON TIME and they take me into the service room right on the dot every single time Their building is conveniently located right next to the Waverly Gargae, which is rare in Bethesda to just park and walk to your appointment so easily. Parking is super easy you can pay with an app ParkMobile Everyone that works here are the BEST at what they do. They mainly focus on sugaring and waxing and they do THE BEST WORK which I really appreciate their expertise. Highly recommend!

I have been to quite a few hair removal places and received great service but this is hands down the best experience. The services are worth every penny and more. I couldn't believe the results when the esthetician got done. She was patient, took her time to make me feel at ease, explained the process and then proceeded to give me a waxing that was done with as little pain as possible. This is definitely my new waxing home!

Claire is amazing! She is so kind and really puts you at ease, it’s almost as if you forget you’re getting waxed 😊 I think the price is very fair for the quality service that you receive and can’t complain ****Update 2020*** So it’s been 2 years since I wrote the above review and I still give this place 5 stars! I am still a customer and still see Claire she just as amazing, kind and professional as always... at this point unless I get permanent hair removal I don’t see myself going anywhere else for my services :)

I called a few moments after they had opened with questions about setting up an appointment and they were so pleasant and helpful. My appointment with Apita was amazing! This is the only place I go to for hair removal because they use organic sugar paste, it's a good price for what you get, and most importantly Clair is the best! I get Brazilian as well as my underarms and legs because I can't shave (way too painful and starts growing back in a day or two). And after getting those services done at least five times I definitely noticed (and continue to notice) that my hair is thinning out as well as in some areas it just stopped growing. I have pale skin and dark, thick hair. It might be a little painful the first time, but now I don't really even feel it and it's very tolerable. Though it depends on people's pain tolerance. I even drive almost an hour to come here and it's totally worth it! And Clair is very friendly, makes you feel at ease, lets you know when the potentially more painful areas are coming up, is very thorough, and it's great just having a conversation with her. I highly recommend! 👍👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Been coming here for a while now for waxing and I love, love, love. I usually see Claire, shes so nice and does excellent work. Very sanitary for those who are wondering. She uses gloves and I've never seen her double dip. She will literally throw the glove she was using away and put on a new one before getting a new ball of sugar wax out of the warmer. I get brazilians which can be painful. Claire does a great job at distracting me with interesting conversation. I used to travel an 1hr 30min to come here when I was living in VA and it was worth it. I live in MD now so I'm much closer but I would continue to make the trip of I ever went back to VA.

Very good food and excellent service. Staff is doing a great job keeping patrons safe during these times. limited reservations and cleaning protocols witnessed while dining. The brunch menu has great options for a nice late morning or early afternoon meal. will more than likely visit again. I have already recommended to others.

This was my first time getting a sugar waxing done and it was so much better than I anticipated. The pain is about 30% less than regular waxing. Talking during the process definitely distracts away from that sensation though. I saw Claire who was informative and professional. Definitely going again. Thank you for the awesome experience! 😊

Love Nita, she’s the best! Ive been going to Nita now for the past 7 months and shes so patient and quick. I barely feel any pain at all because she engages in great conversation. I drive 1.5hrs just to get my wax every 6weeks.

LOVE this place! They’re clean, quick and just make the whole process easy. I believe I’ve used every tech there because I trust anyone they hire. I know some people don’t like being talked to when having services like these done, but I find it helps me. I just remember to breathe and/or laugh and just chat away. I’ve never had an issue here and highly recommend this place for sugaring. Also, if you’ve never gotten sugared, in my humble opinion, it’s 10x better than waxing (but I also had a terrible first waxing experience elsewhere - so maybe I’m just bitter)

This was my first time sugaring and i was actually nervous about it! Though i am a normal waxer, a friend of mine had referred me and she felt like sugaring hurt more than waxing . I went to Colleen for a Brazilian sugaring and it literally wasn’t even a fraction of the pain i normally feel with waxing ! Like night and day pain! Not to mention Colleen is incredibly sweet! I will never wax again. I am thinking about doing my under arms too.

Colleen is GREAT the other lady who answered the phone refused to take an appointment over the phone.when I called three times for parking information no one answered and I brought that up when i checked in the same woman snapped at me that it's on the website. They are all incredibly amazing. I’ve been before during and after pregnancy and the waxing have never hurt me a bit. They are ALWAYS on time. It’s cleane and they are really nice. Everything is just perfect when I go there each time I’ve been going there since 3 years now. I’m from France and I’ve been traveling a lot a d so I’ve seen many places. But this one is sincerely the best. If I move to another date I will comme down here to wax I don’t want anybody or anywhere els. This has been my 4th waxing exp. First 2 traditional wax and pretty good. 3rd a sugaring scrub...most traumatic ever!! and then I found this place. This was by far the best experience ive has so far. Aside from still seeing me after i was clearly late and ready 2 reschedule, Nita was so sweet, had such a gentle touch, warned me in tougher areas. We made small talk and I was very comfortable. End result, beautiful smooth soft satiny skin. Ill be a regular going fwd. Also very reasonably priced.
