I did 15 days straight of whole body cryo at Lux an noted significant decline in my body's inflammation. I got hit by a car as a bicyclist, tore my rotator cuff skiing, and have issues with my hips and knees from years of kayaking, skiing and cycling. I have just signed up for another month of cyro with red light and expect to have even better results. Highly recommend the cryo - go everyday or at least 6 time a week - you will notice the difference.

The way she pays attention to detail and has an individual approach to every customer is the reason I come back to this location! I absolutely love Lux Tan. I initially chose them simply because they are located near my work. Sure, there are cheaper places but the convenience was most important to me. Once I started going, it wasn’t just about the convenience anymore. You really do get what you pay for. The salon is spotless (I’ve never seen trash in any of the bins in the rooms). The beds are always working (unlike other salons that neglect dead bulbs in beds for weeks on end). The employees know what they are talking about and answer questions knowledgeably. Most tanning salons are staffed by pushy obnoxious girls who don’t have any understanding of customer service and their managers are even worse. Not here. The employees are always friendly & professional in a relaxed & welcoming way. Management is great too. They don’t suspend accounts but they worked with me when I had a surgery and wouldn’t be able to come in for a while. They didn’t have to do that but they genuinely care about their customers. We visit our tanning salon often but don’t spend a lot of time there so we expect a short list of things and Lux delivers on all of them. I haven’t tried the cryotherapy yet but look forward to doing so in the future. I’ve seen employees assisting customers in crypto sessions and they are extremely attentive. I’ve visited the Salmon Creek location a couple of times and they are just as great. If you’re tired of the other chains that feel like the tanning salon cousin of those obnoxious muscle gyms, give Lux a try. You won’t be disappointed.

The girls here are so nice and so helpful! Both my husband and I have been here and loved it , they offer so much from tanning to cryotherapy to T-shock and fitwave . Another location of theirs has IV drips also 💧 which are amazing . Highly recommend …

Maggie & Chloe are the best!! They’re both so accommodating, friendly and super knowledgeable about all the services Lux Tan has to offer. It’s so nice to find a company that has people that care and make you feel comfortable!! They work with my schedule and are always pleasant to see. Cryo is amazing and makes me feel rejuvenated after I’m done. Chloe and Maggie are both great at distracting me so I can get through the cold shock. I really like the red light, it’s made my scars fade, and my skin so soft. The tanning beds are top of the line!!

My Wife and I wanted to tan a little bit before our honeymoon this December to Costa Rica, so we shopped around a bit and happened upon Celebrity Tan. I must say, because of our experience stepping into other tanning salons we were very skeptical. We walked in and started taking to the guy running the place and he happened to be the owner. He said he was covering for one of his employees that was working the whole day so the other employees could have the day off (it was black Friday). The owner was awesome, much nicer and way more understanding of our situation than the other places we went. He listened to what we were asking for and gave us a great little package solution to get us going! He also gifted us a session in one of his upper level beds as a wedding gift! As for the rest of the staff, all of them are top notch! They are very nice when we walk in and have even learned our names and will already be setting up our beds for us as we walk in. All around great place to tan and I'd recommend to anyone. Celebrity Tan is clean and comfortable, all the beds work great, the price is very reasonable and the staff is top notch! Nice work guys!

I have been coming to this location for 8 years now and for good reason. The staff is super bubbly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The experience I get here is unmatched to any other in Portland. Whether you’ve been tanning for years, are interested in cryotherapy (which is an amazing experience) or looking for a new location — this is your spot!!

Maggie is awesome! She has guided me step by step through the tanning procedure, knowing I like to look more natural.. I have never burned at all. The Red Light Therapy has been a wonderment to me. It has increased my energy level and has miraculously made my bruises vanish very quickly.

Love my red light therapy and tan at Lux tan. The girls, especially Maggie, always greet me with a smile and have great insight as to what bed and lotions will keep your tan even and nice. Now that I’ve been to red light therapy for awhile, I have noticed fewer lines on my face. Can’t say enough about this place

I have been going to lux since they took over last year and I love it! I live in Vancouver but work in Portland so I really appreciate the fact that they are so flexible and allow me tan at both locations. I usually do the beds and red light and every once in a while I'll do the spray tanning. The staff is always super helpful and not pushy. I don't have any complaints about this place!

Not sure how prices compare to other locations or similar businesses, but we're waiting to see the results before deciding to pursue additional sessions.

I have been a patron of this location for ten years !!! The staff always remembers me by name and are very professional and friendly. I tan pretty regularly and have recently added the red light therapy as well as the Lux cryo to my daily routine !!! I feel amazing !! I was in an accident two years ago and I am still suffering from severe back pain I use the cryo on a daily basis and I feel so much better. Thank you to Neal and Kirstin and the amazing team of men and women at Lux Tan for helping me feel good again!! I always look forward to my appointments!!!

Oh My gosh! Lux tan is amazing, all of the employees I’ve met are wonderful and so helpful including the owners. I started tanning with Lux when they opened their first tanning salon in lake Oswego! I ended up moving to Portland so I switched tanning salons and I regretted it because Lux tanning beds are soo nice and give you a beautiful tan that lasts way longer than other tanning salons in my experience. They opened up a salon in Portland at mall 205 and Of course I came back. They have multiple locations too! I’m never switching tanning salons again! 100% recommend Lux Tan❤️

UPDATE: I've been doing cryo therapy for many years and had to always travel to different locations to do my sessions and then recently Lux opened up cryo therapy at there mall 206 location and I couldn't be happier! I use there tanning bed and now cryo therapy so now everything is convinct! The staff is so friendly and make everything so comfortable, I've never been into a tanning salon before and needed color for a vacation I am going on. So I did some research and found that Lux Tan had overall the best low prices around! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff.. I had a ton of questions and the gal that helped me was very detailed about each bed and the products they sold and recommended me to the right bed for my skin type. I ended up going with there High Pressure bed and a bundle package of there Mystic Sprays and also a few sessions of there Redlight therapy bed. Overall the experience was great! I'm definitely happy with my choice of salon and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

review: I LOVE, going to Lux Tan and Cryotherapy. I’m a 2x bodybuilding world champion and after injuring my back in March, I was looking for a solution to get back into competition quickly. Lux Tan and Cryotherapy offered me that solution. I do cryotherapy 3 to 4 times a week prior to my workout for energy, weight loss, fat burning and back pain relief. I do it after my workout for improving my mood and to reduce anxiety. It helps with muscle healing as well as reducing inflammation. They also OFFER COMPRESSION THERAPY 😁 which I do as well. This treatment helps increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, reduces pain! It can also help speed up recovery from injuries and increase flexibility. I used this powerful combination of treatments to get back to my injury-free self! They make it easy to get started because you can try any treatment just $10 for the first time and if you like it, they offer package pricing. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Lux Tan and Cryotherapy is the very best tanning salon ever! For the past 16 years, I've been a loyal member at several different tanning salons, in the many different cities I have lived in throughout the nation (including Palm Beach Tan). None of those previous salons compare to Lux Tan and Cryo. This place has the very best customer service. All of the staff members are well trained, kind, friendly, and upbeat. Everyone is always looking fabulous too!!! The vibe in the salon is consistently serene, and pleasent. I would say that tanning, red light therapy, and cryotherapy is a necessary part in maintaining a person's overall health and wellness. Not only will you feel better, but you will look georgous too. Cryotherapy is now part of my lifestyle! I never thought i would come to my tanning salon to use cold therapy at -130 degrees but i decided to try it out when Lux had added it to the salon and i love it now! it gives me so much energy and helps me feel good overall but most importantly it helps with hip pain that i deal with, and its so easy to do! Brittany always does a great job running my 2-3 minute sessions with me! i would recommend anyone to ask about it if you dont know what it is and give it a try, there are tons of health benefits!
