Autumn is A QUEEN! I have gotten my brows waxed and dyed by her, and she makes them perfect every time. I was super nervous to start, I have always had super light eyebrows. I came in and we talked about what I wanted, and she made sure to show me the dye and we picked together. They ended up looking AMAZING, and now I keep going back to her. Even more than the first day I walked out of the salon back in November. LADDDIESSSSSS! I booked with Michelle after reading all of her incredible reviews and she is an ANGEL, A serious Eyebrow Goddess (and I mean that) I’ve suffered from very bare, patchy eyebrows like my whole life and always felt so self-conscious about it.. I started looking into Micro-blading back in May and searched for the perfect place for months. All the way to Sarasota up to Orlando.. I wanted to make sure I was going to the absolute best place! I mean it isssss going to be permanent on your face for awhile so that’s a must. Flirt Wax Bar’s prices are a bit high, but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I found other places that were so cheap but the pictures and reviews were terrible! At Flirt Wax; you won’t find one bad review or bad picture of before and after of microblading! So I did not mind the price at all (and neither did my fiancé since this was a birthday present from him lol) But seriously, I can’t praise Michelle enough! She makes you feel comfortable, and really explains everything well. She draws on your brows first to see if you like it and the blade doesn’t touch your skin until you 100% approve of your eyebrows!! I promise, you won’t be disappointed with this salon or Michelle! I waited months for my appointment and was super excited to meet Brent last week. After an analysis of my eyebrows, Brent determined that I was not a good candidate for micro blading. Michelle was incredibly professional, took the time to fully consult with me on what color, look, thickness etc. that I wanted for my eyebrows, and gave extremely detailed information and instructions. My healing process was 5x better than I expected. If you follow the detailed instructions Michelle provides, you won’t experience any scabbing or crazy discoloration while you heal. My eyebrows look very natural and I get compliments all the time. My makeup routine time has been cut in half now that I don’t have to deal with coloring in my eyebrows everyday!

I followed Michelle on Instagram for several years before I finally decided to go through with microblading/shading. I debated going to someone else who may have been cheaper or didn’t have as long of a waitlist, but I am SO happy I didn’t. I actually got called in early from her cancellation list. She won me over by her healed microblading posts- some clients went a few years without needing a touch up and they looked fantastic! The pigment healed soft and beautiful, without turning gray or orange. Other artists were too new to tell, and I’ve seen enough botched microblading that I was not willing to be anyones guinea pig! I felt very involved for the entire process and comfortable with how much of a perfectionist she was! I followed her post op instructions and had ZERO scabbing! Just had my touch up today and needless to say, she is stuck with me for life, because I can never live without these brows again! I also love that she says, “if in a year, your brows still look great, I don’t need to see you! Less is better to avoid scar tissue formation.” I can honestly say this was the best investment and I’m SO happy with the outcome and professionalism of Michelle. Brent walked me talked me through the whole process, took his time to map our my perfect brows, and did the most precise and realistic work I have ever seen- and they are all mine now! I’ve thought long and hard about what I want to say in this review; how I could possibly put into words how much this experience has changed me. Every time I think about it, the one word that continually comes to mind when trying to describe my Microblading experience with Brent is “meticulous”. I knew going into this that Brent was the crème de la crème when it came to microblading artists. I’ve followed his work for years now and decided if I was going to take the plunge and let anyone touch my brows it would be him, and only him. The experience itself was everything I could have asked for and more. Brent spent a significant amount of time perfecting the shape and design of my brows – defining the perfect look for my face. Every detail of the design was perfect and symmetrical. Pain was absolutely manageable and Brent was phenomenal about checking in with me to ensure I was comfortable. The aftercare instructions he provided were beyond helpful, and allowed me to heal perfectly without any embarrassing flaking and peeling (if you’ve researched some of the horror stories from microblading you know what I’m talking about…). That part alone should sell you on how phenomenal of an artist Brent is, it really shows how much he truly cares about his craft. It’s now been 8 weeks since my appointment and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. I NEVER thought I would be so comfortable in my own skin, especially without makeup but the confidence I have now because of my brows is LIFE. CHANGING. If you’re on the fence about doing it, just do it. Trust me. Best investment ever. I promise you’re worth it!

They do a good job with brows and Brazilian. Only issue is if you are a few minutes late you have to be rescheduled and they are not forgiving when it comes to appointments . Also if you reschedule your appointment that is less than 24 hours they will charge you the full amount. I keep coming because they do a good job but I’m trying to find a place here in st Pete with better customer service . A business like this mirroring that of a doctors office. They should be able to understand because they are also late in servicing you and does not take you right at your appointment time.

She is an artist by nature and a perfectionist! 👏 Walking in the day of, I was a little bit nervous, but because she demonstrated so much confidence in herself, yet super sweet and calm, I immediately felt much more comfortable. She uses the best blends/products on the market, and her needles are extremely fine, which gives a much more natural look, it actually looks like hair. At first I worried it would hurt, it would scar, it would itch, it would peel... well, none of that happened. Michelle made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. She gave me an aftercare kit with some simple instructions to follow (which I did), and none of the concerns mentioned above happened. I was super grateful, that Michelle talked to me about the expectations throughout the healing process. Eyebrows will look a bit darker for about a week or so after the procedure, but then they fade beautifully. To add to my awesome microblading experience, I have been on work conference video calls, and I’ve had women messaging me on the private chat to compliment my eyebrows! I love this place! I’ve been going for a while now, I’ve had my eyebrows microbladed and get regular waxes. I tried this place out because I read a review that said “Keisha’s brazilians barely even hurt”. I don’t know if that is true, but her personality does distract you from the pain. While she was on maternity leave, I saw Tiffany who was also great.... very personable and sweet. Now that Keisha is back from leave, I’ve returned to getting regular brazilians and after not having them for a while I can say they definitely are not painless, but they are way better with her cheerful personality and her skills have me in and out in about 15 minutes. No matter who I see at flirt the professionalism coupled with the kindness and skill make it a pleasurable visit. UPDATE: So I had the dermaplane facial with Raya... OMG what an amazing facial! I get hydrafacials a lot because I like the exfoliating aspects of them, the dermaplane worked way better than my last hydrafacial! Flirt is the total package, I cannot wait for them to reopen. I’ll definitely be trying the microchanneling. Also special shoutout for the dna skincare recommendation! I love the exfoliator and will be tying the rest of the line the products already in my lineup finish. ❤️❤️❤️

I found my artist, Brent Weed, about 8 months before I decided to book an appointment, watching his style grow and improve day by day. I drove about an hour to get to Flirt for my consultation, and he provided me with an eyebrow mapping during the consult to make it worth the drive. After that during my actual appointment (had to book about a month out), he made sure to map out exactly what I was looking for, always asking me if I wanted anything at all improved/changed before he started microblading, making me very comfortable proceeding and taking the nerves away. He made sure my satisfaction and comfort were his top priorities, also taking the time to explain each step of the process in detail. My new eyebrows have changed my life!! I can’t say anything more positive about Brent and the experience at Flirt Wax Bar, I recommend coming here for all of your needs - lashes, waxing and microblading. Also, stop by their product shelf on your way out, they have the best exfoliating scrubs! The only hiccup in the entire experience was that I was overcharged $20 on my debit card, which I caught on my emailed receipt, but the receptionist was more than willing and quickly fixed that mistake. This place is THE best! Not only is it beautiful and clean, but the staff can't be beat. I just completed my touch up microblading session with Michelle and her work is AMAZING. I did a lot of research before I made the decision to go through with microblading and I knew this was the only place I'd go. I'm always super nervous about anyone filling in or messing with my eyebrows because I'm blonde, so whenever other people "color" them or fill them in, I feel like it's all I can see on my face and looks way overdone. Not so with Michelle. We had an in-depth consultation beforehand so she knew exactly what I wanted, she stenciled an outline so I would know what to expect and even did a custom color match so the color would be "just right." They look PERFECT. The blade strokes look so realistic and fine no one can tell it's not actual hair. I've had SO many compliments on how "on point" my brows are over the last month, people asking what I've done differently, and no one suspects they're microbladed! I'm totally in love with my brows; now you can actually see them without me filling them in, but they're just a subtle enhancement and better version of the real deal rather than taking over my whole face! I cannot say enough about Flirt Wax Bar! I have been a customer since Raya first open her shop (about 4 years ago!). Raya and Keeshia are amazing! Both women are pros at their job. For anyone who is nervous about a Brazilian, don't be! These women know how to make it painless! The best part is it's over in 10 minutes or less. Keeshia, has been my girl for the past few years. Each time I visit, we chat like old friends! She makes me never want to leave (and who has ever said that about getting a Brazilian?!) Keeshia, also does amazing brows! I don't need mine done often but when she cleans them up, WOW! I've never seen my brows look better! She spends her time shaping them just perfectly. The shop is always clean and beautiful. The decor is to die for! Even the bathroom is perfect! They never double dip the wax. I've seen them take each stick and dip it in the wax. Each bed/table is covered with a new sheet. And each room has its own soft music. Very nice :) They also sell ingrown hair serum, and if you have stayed with me this far in the review, I recommend the Whish serum. It has changed my life! Moral of the story: go to flirt wax bar and you will not be disappointed!

I waited almost 2 weeks before posting this review but I’m so unhappy I can’t stop thinking about it. Let’s start with the positive. Friendly staff, nice decor, clean facility. Now, the not so good: the actual service performed. I tried this place because of a scheduling conflict with my usual salon. Plus their 5 star rating had me curious! Ok- well I did notice the sign in the room offering a nice discount for a positive review. Enough said about that. The person that did my wax was polite and efficient. But honestly, it just very well may be the worst wax service I’ve ever had. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized just how much was missed. I have been unhappy every single day since my visit. Mainly because I have to wait at least 3 weeks to let the hair grow and to get a proper wax job. I’ve Never had this many ingrown hairs or course hair with uneven regrowth. I’m Not sure what they use but the products also really dried out my skin. It Could be the witch hazel. Nevertheless, I didn’t want to bash the place, the staff was friendly and they get an A for effort but I simply cannot return.

I was pretty nervous for a few reasons from pain to just not knowing what to expect. He made me feel super comfortable and shut down any worries I had. He is very knowledgeable, thorough at explaining after care, makes sure to ask you if you have any questions or concerns when he's done and make adjustments accordingly. I was a bit freaked out because I had some luscious eyebrows by the time I left and I thought I looked crazy lol everyone assured me they looked great, I had some scraggly eyebrows before so it took some getting used to but I absolutely love them! Please listen to him when he tells you they will tone down if you feel they are too dark or too much he really knows what he's doing!! Went in for my touch up and I have the skin tone that can turn my tattoos blue or gray toned so Brent added in some warm tones to counteract that from happening. I'm tellin ya he's the man! :) Also have to give a shout out to the adorable Arnett. I got a lash lift that day as well and I loved it. It gave me that false eyelash feel without the false eyelashes. My lashes aren't very long but they are kind of wild and the lash lift made all my lashes perfectly fanned and curled. Makes mascara not such a drag to put on because its so much easier to apply and you get a better application/ result. Arnett is so sweet and actually pretty funny! Thanks gurl!! I have followed this company via social media for about a year now and finally pulled the trigger on getting a lash lift and tint done because of the awesome results I have seen of their work. I went through the service with no issues, but starting about 4 hours later, I started to have a reaction in both eyes. I called the next morning to seek some guidance in how to go about treating my eyes and the girl who answered the phone was swift and kind in moving forward with having the owner call me. The owner called me about 15 minutes later and offered a very sincere apology and wanted me to do what I thought necessary to be sure I was taken care of. She refunded the service in full and has checked up on me every day since. She offered to pay for my dr.'s bills and prescriptions, and was VERY easy to work with throughout the entire process. Of course I won't be getting another lash lift or tint, but I WILL be returning to Flirt because of the incredible customer service I received. Michelle’s microblading skills, 5 stars, ease of appointment scheduling, 1 star. Previously you can schedule a 5 or 5:30 p.m. appointment for microblading touch-up but since they have changed their business hours, the latest appointment is now at 3 or 3:30 p.m. and they are booked 4 to 5 weeks out (longer during holidays) which makes it difficult to get in. I have called several times and I’m never able to reach front office (always get texts from answering service) and phone tag occurs last several times just trying to reach front office and schedule an appointment which is disappointing.

While other trivial and 'pampering' services might be comparable-- when it comes to microblading... do not be impatient... do not attempt to save money... DO NOT COMPROMISE. Training and certification alone does not suffice. This is one of those unique services that require a technician that has both learned the technique AND been 'born' with an *artistic talent*. Good luck finding that anywhere else. I've done the research. (I've already made the mistakes & bad choices for you. Ha!) No place comes close to the superior products used and the attention to the smallest details. So if you want amazing results... make the call, request MICHELLE, and be patient. You will be glad you did. The only thing further I have to add is, if you are looking for beautiful lashes to compliment your new perfect brows... reconsider lash-extensions and make an appointment for a 'lash-lift & tint' with ARNETT first. If you are not completely blown-away by the magical transformation of your OWN lashes, you can then make the leap to extensions. Better to try the lift first before risking any of the natural precious lashes you still have left. Good luck. ;)
