Marietta was recommended to me by friends who loved their experiences with her, and I have been very, very happy with my experience (and results) too: Before Marietta, I’d been to another laser clinic and it took me way longer to see the results that I wanted. Marietta is never pushy, always honest and realistic, and is great about talking you through all available options. She is also great at balancing maximum results with comfort during each session, and will adjust to your needs. You can tell that she loves what she does and is expertly skilled, too. Plus she is just the sweetest person who is always fun to chat with. Her space is very clean and hygienic, as well as comfortable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking to get laser work done!

Laser hair removal has been one of the best decisions I've ever made... 100% worth it! I had previous work done 5 years ago at a different studio in Portland, and didn't have the best experience. I found Marietta a little over a year ago for underarm hair removal. I remember she teased me that underarms were the gateway and she was right. I saw results right away and promptly went for another service. I have had seven complete sessions and I barely have any growth - just a few hardly visible wisps left. Marietta is the best. I love her heated chair and her conversation - she's skilled at keeping you distracted! Her pricing is reasonable and so worth it. My only regret is not finding her sooner.

I have had 7 sessions on both my lower legs and underarms, and my hair is almost gone completely on those areas - just need a couple more sessions. My hair is naturally very thick; I never thought my skin could ever feel so smooth and soft. Because of how successful it’s been, I’ve gradually added on Brazilian and lip&chin to our sessions (the Brazilian is a life changer!). Marietta is so kind, caring, and so careful to make sure you are as comfortable and possible during the sessions. In addition, she is just a wonderful person to be around and talk to! I just wish I started my sessions sooner, and did everything at once! You won’t regret it.

I’ve had a pleasant experience going to Pain Free Laser for hair removal on my upper lip and chin. Marietta was helpful and answered questions I had before I booked an appointment. For me she suggested 6 sessions every 6 weeks. Today was my 4th session, and I only have a few hairs left that are very thin and do not grow as quick as before doing laser. The first two sessions were completely painless and I didn’t feel much. The following two sessions were painless too but I could definitely feel the heat. The sessions are quick and I’ve always felt comfortable. I’ve been happy with my results and recommend Pain Free Laser.

Marietta is so great! I was nervous for my first appointment because I had never done laser before but she told me what it would be like and how to care for my skin before and after. I have seen SO much improvement in what used to be an insecurity for me, and it really doesn't hurt. Some thick/dark hairs are like a quick sting, but that's it. Her space is clean and cozy, and Marietta has been flexible for me in the past and communicates really well.

Marietta is kind and easy to chat with! She makes the experience comfortable for you. I've had 5 Brazilian sessions done now and the first 3 were completely pain free, and the last 2 you can start to feel it a little but it's still not bad at alllllll for what someone would expect for laser hair removal!! I've already noticed some hairs falling out and the growth is definitely slower at this point. My friends are going to her as well and are further along than I am and have significantly less hair growth already which is super cool! Excited to see the full results!

I've been consistently getting hair removal services with Marietta since November of 2021, and the results are life-changing. I have darker skin that changes color so much throughout the year, being Middle Eastern, as well as really thick and coarse hair that would normally grow back within a day or two of shaving. The areas that I've been lasering with Marietta are now smooth and completely hairless. I never really even have to shave in between appointments anymore. Her work is also super precise and detailed, and the lasering really does not hurt at all now. Even in the beginning when my hair was really thick and strong, the machine she uses is way less uncomfortable than any other I've tried when I got lasered with different people before. 10/10 would recommend going to Marietta for hair removal needs!!

Marietta does a great job of informing you on the whole process and setting realistic expectations. I have been doing my armpits and face. Armpits are pain free, male facial hair is never pain free but the type of machine and process she uses minimizes the amount of discomfort I feel. I searched this city up and down on a mission to find a place that’ll work on melanin skin. Marietta is a joy, as a dark skin gal she has one of the only lasers that’ll work on my skin. Due to the fact that my hair and my skin are difficult to differentiate it’s not completely pain free. I’ve been going to her about 4 months now and she informed me of all the risks. It’s not completely pain free but Marietta makes my visits very comfortable and worth my while. I’ve seen great results!

I would recommend Pain-Free Laser! I I have gotten by armpits and bikini lasered. I noticed a huge difference even after my first treatment to my arm pits. They became softer and lighter and went from needing to be shaved every day / every other day to every 3 days or so and increasingly less and less after each session. I just had my 6th session and will probably need 2 more - so it is a process, but so worth it. I wish I did it years ago!

I was debating between this place (Pain Free Laser) and Radiance Laser for my first Brazilian session based on reviews. I can’t tell you how thankful I am that I chose this place!! After I did some research on various lasers on the market, I chose Pain Free Laser. They claim they have the best tech and they actually do (!!!) The Soprano XL is a phenomenal laser and is a fairly new addition in the market. The technology is top-notch and it really was pain-free (and surprisingly fast). I couldn’t find another place in the Portland metro area that had comparable laser equipment. Marietta runs this place on her own and she does a darn good job at it :) She is extremely knowledgeable, communicative and highly-skilled at what she does. The COVID precautions she took made me feel safe and comfortable the entire time. I’m looking forward to the rest of my sessions and having my boyfriend come here too!

I have been going here for over a year, and I am so glad I did. Not only is laser the BEST way to go and great results (this is coming from someone who's done with a decade of waxing), Marietta is the best. It hurts WAY less than waxing--all because Marietta is a pro. I was scared it would be like "needles" as some people have told me, but not the case at all. And it was quicker than any of my waxes too! I wouldn't do it with anyone else, and I'm thrilled I found her. Marietta makes it super easy to schedule, even though she is quite busy and I travel a lot for work. Take for instance, today-when I accidentally came in the studio the wrong day for my appointment. I called Marietta, completely oblivious I wrote it down a day off. Instead of saying "too bad" (which she could've easily done because lady is BOOKED), she told me to wait there, rushed over to the studio and FIT ME IN on her day off. Every penny is worth Marrietta's expert and professional services. I was skeptical about shelling out so much money just to get rid on unwanted hairs, but after having a compromised and unsanitary waxing experience in Budapest I decided to stop putting my health in the hands of questionable estheticians and find a good laser specialist once and for all. Pain Free Laser delivers what it promises: there is no pain, only some mild tingling and itching and sessions are quick and easy. Within weeks of the first laser session I saw immediate results that waxing could never accomplish: my hair was softer, thinner, and easy to shave! I could have stopped there but I didn't: Marrietta's packaging is so affordable. The cost might be heavy up front but after I calculated the cost of monthly waxing (plus tip) it became apparent that M's Laser Free packaging would save me money within a year. The second and third sessions with M's laser got easier and easier and soon I will have achieved my desired result. Because my skin appeared irritated upon first inspection Marrietta insisted on offering me a little "trial" and lasered a two inch test area of my skin. She did not charge me for this test, nor did I have to agree to anything until we both saw whether or not the results were positive. M's standard of professionalism is extremely high: she does not expose her customers to any hazard, she protects her customer with information and won't push you into purchasing a package. Marrietta is an incredibly compassionate professional and her studio and laser are keep in pristine condition. I can't recommend her services or her studio enough.
