Great visit. Straight to business. Only complaint, the amount of paperwork that I had to fill out between the portal. About 10 different repetitive forms. There as to be a way to stream line this. I also overheard another patient asking for the portal registration link (expired link). Same issue I had. I had to call back to to get a new link that ultimately required 3 separate phone calls. Setting the appointment was cumbersome also. I had to convince their office to set appointment as I did not have my new insurance card.

When I had read recent reviews I was a little apprehensive, but I have to say it was an enjoyable experience. The front office staff were all very nice and personable and I knew upfront I would have a copay. The Doctor was wonderful. She addressed all my issues and was very personable. I had a very bad rash that I had had for years and in less than a week the ointments she prescribed me took it away. I can’t tell you how embarrassed I was about that rash and how it kept me from wearing my hair up for years. Loved my visit and am so grateful I was referred to them.

Wonderful experience. The office staff was nice and got me checked in quickly. They explained my payment and provided me with a receipt. I was called back to the exam room quickly and they gathered all relevant information. The doctor came into the room very shortly after and addressed my concerns. I had to have a small skin irregularity removed and the procedure was very fast and I felt nothing. I was in, completed new patient paperwork, had a full body skin exam, and one removal all in under an hour!

Very relaxed and understanding environment, I mentioned our kids and she gave me stickers for them! Can’t wait to go back for my follow up after trying out the prescriptions that were suggested for the next two weeks. He believes I have severe dermatitis which began on my scalp as a child and has progressed since highschool into my adulthood down my face to my chin, and now appearing in random places on my legs on my tattoos. Hopefully they work and we can diminish the effects of it, if not, I look forward to discussing what we can do together next time I come in.

I was lucky that the tumor was small but it was on the top of my right ear. Dr Romine did an incredible job. She also had to do a skin graft. No one know I have a scar unless I show them and even then they hardy notice. Check out the pics.

My appointment was on time. Everyone working was happy and helpful, from the front desk clerk to the checkout clerk. My doctor had to take a sample of a mole that discolored over the past several months. Prior to numbing it he says this is going to pinch little, he was wrong it pinched a lot as I felt a sharp burn at the injection point. As I yelled and squirmed he says you have to hold still. Both he and his assist made sure I was okay and ready before the cut the sample to be tested from my body. You might say that this doesn't sound like a very good experience. I would say maybe it wasn't the best, but the doctor is truly an awesome guy who cares and is very good at his job.

This review pertains to a mini-lift I had recently. I always looked younger for my age (when I was out of college, I could still pass for a high schooler), but after reaching 40, my skin started sagging, and I was getting a tired, aged look that I wasn't particularly fond of. I researched natural-looking mini-lifts, and decided, based on photos and testimonies, to see Dr. Laris. I booked my consult, went in, and was seen by Ebony. She was very sweet and had no problem taking the time to go over everything in detail. After that, Dr.Laris came in the room. He's a really nice guy. Very down to earth, likable and someone who truly cares about his patients and his work. He answered all of my questions, informed me in detail of every aspect of what to expect, and never seemed rushed. When I went in for surgery at the Phoenix location, first thing I noticed was cleanliness. This place is spotless, and very modern. I was taken back to the surgical area, and spoke with Dr. Laris before being lightly sedated. The procedure was very quick, and before I knew it, I was on my way home (being driven by someone else of course). There was a decent amount of swelling, but I was "restaurant ready" as they say, within about 2 weeks. I was back in the gym in 3 weeks. I'm absolutely overjoyed with the results. Not only is my more youthful look restored, you can't even tell I've had anything done. It just turned back the clock a few years (8-10) and gave me a more rested look. During my follow up visits, the staff has always been courteous and kind. I think how you treat people is how you'll be treated, and some people think this doesn't apply in a professional setting, when in fact, it does. I'm always courteous and respectful, and I've always gotten the same in return. Dr. Laris and his staff are very nice people, and his work speaks for itself. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a natural looking lift. You'll likely have your expectations exceeded. I have a YouTube channel and shoot mostly outdoor adventure videos, and until this procedure, I used certain angles and lighting to project a more favorable look, and was particular in what footage made the final cut. Now, I can just go out and shoot video in any light in any angle and not be selective in what makes the cut. I’m very glad I went with Dr. Laris

In 2004 I was in a BAD Head on collision, and the doctor who performed the surgery screwed up and left something dangerous in my leg, and ever since the surgery in 2004 my leg has been bleeding and uzing pus and has been very painful! Although the procedure was painless, I did feel some discomfort from the pressure of the filler being injected. It was tolerable and I will definitely do it again. I did a review about a week ago. One of the more experienced Doctors, Dr Larus if im not mistaken, reached out to me by phone. He wanted to reach out for a second consultation since i felt like all my questions werent answered. Partly my fault for not speaking up at the time that i was still unclear on what the treatment plan is to achieve the results i wanted. Im glad Dr Larus called me for a second consultation. He explained things and used examples in a way that i understood. He gave me a clear treatment plan that tells me the treatments i will be getting? The time frame between each treatment and the overall timeframe for the final results, as well as pricing. He gave me realistic expectations. He went into detail about which treatment and what products will target what. I cant explain how thankful i am that he took his time with me and gave me reassurance that im not stuck with the hyperpigmentation on my neck area. Im so happy to know that it can be corrected. For those of you with ethnic dark skin, you might be able to relate to my problem. I have pcos which causes me to have grow hair excessively on my neck and chin area. As i got older it turned into severe ingrown hairs. I started tweezing which in turn created these dark marks on my neck. From a distance you might think i have a full blown beard. I struggles this for a long time. I became really self conscious about it and started to wear makeup to cover it, but even through the makeup it was still a little noticeable due to the uneven skin texture. When seeking skin treatment it was very important to me that the person treating me have strong knowledge in ethnic/ african american skin. Im now confident Phoenix Skin Spa can help my situation. I will try to update this with pictures of the process after each treatment. Its important to me for people with a similar situation can hear from someone that went through it. Im really big on reviews and i noticed when doing my research alot of the reviews lacked alot of important information that might help the next person. I hope this review helps. Additionally, i would recommend Phoenix Skin. If you are someone that struggles with skin affecting every day life, I recommend to book a consultation, ask questions, and together you can come up with a treatment plan.

I went to Phoenix Skin as a consultation from VA. It took awhile for me to be see for the rep had to verify my veterans insurance but once that was done I was called back. The Dr. Assistant was very professional and knowledgeable, I forgot his name! We had a great conversation. Dr. Pham came in and look at how my face was filled with breakouts in the chin area and he said this is probably hormonal bit I'm going to take care of you. The Assistant, male type gave me some shots in my face to reduce the bigger bumps and gave me my prescriptions. This is 5/14/21 & a different review than below. Yesterday's visit w/Nichelle Madden was SUPERB! She seems to know what she's talking about. I have a STUBBORN Basal Cell on my left temple. It has come back THREE times, same spot. She suggested repeating the 2 week treatment, morning & evening for 2 weeks, then heal for 4 weeks...I'm more than happy to go through it again. Yes, the cream makes my skin get RAW about 9 to 11 days in, but I HAVE to do it. I look forward to my results in mid-July 2021. --‐ I can't say enough about this place! Dr. Laris is a life-saver, literally!!! He's such a nice guy. As he was leaving the room after examining me for something else, he stops in his tracks and asks me about the small scar in the inside of my left calf. I explained about six or seven years ago I was slamming the drivers door closed in my Camaro. I didn't push it hard enough and it bounced back open, the bottom corner striking my lower, left calf. He said, "You have Basal Cell, let's get it tested for sure." Sure enough, SKIN CANCER lower left calf! Good thing I wore capris that day or I might not of ever found out! I looked Basal Cell up in the dictionary. Sure enough, he was correct! From blunt force trauma, basal cell is possible! A week later the biopsy said the same thing! Lucky for me I had a watchdog of a doctor! Additionally, three weeks ago, Dr. Laris points out another possible basal cell--in my lower eyelash area. He took a sample, and sent it in for biopsy, basal cell number two--thank you Dr. Laris, you're the BEST! Gotta be observant...skin cancer CAN be deadly! Get checked yearly, at a minimum, if you live in the sunny southwest! 👍

Phoenix Skin is one of the best dermatology practices in the Valley. The problem is they do not do any physical distancing for covid. The waiting room is a petri dish. The chairs are all together and there is no plexiglass for the receptionists. They do a temperature check when you're in the room after a few minutes instead of at the door. They really need a covid-19 prevention course.
