As a first timer, I was impressed with the experience. The place is very clean and with a warm atmosphere. They recommended the wax instead of the sugaring for someone’s first wax. My aesthetician was very professional and fast, with the whole process lasting about 15 mins for a Brazilian wax. Both hard and soft wax was used and the process was painful, however short lasting. The pain was gone by the time I left, and I feel like it wouldn’t be too hard to keep up with this every 4 weeks.

I LOVE Hello Sugar. I go to Christina for my Brazilian and she is the BEST! I absolutely LOVE the fact that I can schedule and reschedule as needed by reaching out via text. It’s so helpful with my busy schedule when I don’t have time or a quiet place to make a phone call. I would never consider going anywhere else for waxing services.

I love this place. It’s hard scheduling a minor with the text system we often have to get rescheduled and the text system they use isn’t that great all together. Other than that, if you’re an adult, they are decent at waxing. I think that if they educated you more on how eyebrows grow, they could be better. I love the interior decor of the building off Princess.

I like going to this location, I have been twice now and the staff is always very nice. The only issue is they seem to be bad with the retention. Everytime I have an appointment booked with someone, I learn that the esthetician is no longer there. Still, different staff but amazing service.

Ive gone to the Tempe and Scottsdale locations and both times I bave been treated exceptionally well. Eli at Scottsdale is very patient & understanding of me being scared of a Brazilian cause I hadnt had one in a lonnggg time. She made sure I was comfortable & took her time so it wouldn’t be painful. I stopped waxing before because of a bad experience elsewhere (and budget) so it had been a while and really wasn’t sure how it would go. I walked out of my Brazilian wax at Hello Sugar North Scottsdale in an amazing mood - it was by far the best experience I’ve had. My aesthetician Casey was friendly and got straight to it. I really appreciated her efficient and professional manner, and her conversation helped distract me. The wax was a comforting temperature, the studio was spotless, and I appreciated the large rooms and high ceilings. I arrived a few minutes early and they were ready for me; walked out just 3 mins after my appointment was supposed to start. In and out in just less than 10mins!! I can absolutely see myself fitting this into my schedule more regularly. Thank you for a great experience 🙏

They do an ok enough job for a Brazilian wax but could have a little more attention to detail. Not convinced that the sugaring is truly better or less painful than the normal wax. The lady who did my Brazilian was nice enough but she kept asking me the same questions over and over again because she couldn’t remember having a conversation with me which was annoying. I would try it again but maybe with a different person

What an experience!!! Alexa was so awesome!!! She was very personable/easy to talk to. She has a great technique. I personally barely felt anything. It could have also been the quality of the product used, but it was very smooth process; especially since it had been a very very long time since my last Brazilian. Alexa also explained the difference between sugaring and waxing as I was not aware how different they are. The facility ambiance was nice and relaxing. It was also very clean without a sterile feel. I would definitely go back if I lived in the area.

I have been here a few times bc my usual esthetician is often booked very far out. I think the experience is generally good, ESPECIALLY bc of availability/flexibility. When an esthetician was running LATE yesterday, I was able to reschedule for the next morning and was given 20% off. MY ONLY ISSUE IS: the rooms are very poorly lit. That could be improved, easily.

But I cannot thank your team enough for being so kind to keep my appointment. The last time I was exactly 6-minutes late to a service with a different salon, did not end well. I loved this experience! It was my first wax ever and a vulnerable one, but I felt comfortable the entire time! The receptionist, Ana was very sweet, and my esthetician, Naomi, was amazing! Obviously Brazilians can be painful, but Naomi helps the conversation serve as a distraction and apply a great pressure to help with any pain sensations. I was super impressed with the Sugar Me Wax, Scottsdale location. I will definitely be back! When I arrived, Randi greeted me with a smile and got me checking in right away. Kristen greeted me shortly after and brought me back to her room. We discussed my previous experience (which was horrible) and all of my concerns. She assured me that I wouldn’t be leaving there until I was a HAPPY customer. I was having her tint and shape my brows at this appointment. Kristen was very informative and explained to me all of the details before we got started. She went through step-by-step instructions, as she worked, so I knew what to expect. I have never had my brows tinted, so I wasn’t sure how it worked. They turned out PERFECT! The actual waxing was painless! Wow! Let me tell you, i love leaving good reviews for places that truly deserve it! First off, I was super nervous even making an appointment because I have never been "sugared" or waxed EVER anywhere, at all! Well, my wedding is in two days, so I convinced myself to do it. SO, I googled places that had the best reviews, did my research, etc. I came across Sugar Me Wax, and I tried booking at ALL of their locations online, but all appointments were filled for the friday (today) that I needed/was only available. So, I called, and left a voicemail, and they got back to me via text right away (which worked out great because I was babysitting at the time). They heard I was getting married, so the manager that normally does not work on Fridays, came in specifically so they could have an open spot for me on this particular friday! How sweet was that?! Sandra was SO unbelievably sweet and very professional. I expressed my timidness and being shy, but she made me feel as comfortable as possible and was amazing with the education throughout the whole process. We did try some wax in some areas, but we found out my body peels and reacts a bit to the wax but NOT sugaring, which was also A LOT less painful than the waxing. The whole experience was one for the books, and let me tell you, it was a clean place! When she would move to a different part of the body, she would change gloves, and clean areas before and after to make for a safe, bacterial free environment. It was also nice for her to let me know and communicate with the front that Sandra could not get some areas off, because I had shaved within less than 7 days prior to this appointment. So, even though she tried these areas with sugaring and minimal waxing, she knew what was best for my skin and body and made sure I wasn't charged for those areas! I am so happy with this place and would recommend to SUGAR yourselves because they are worth it! Entire staff so sweet! Thank you!!

Amazing service! Sugar me is hands down the best place to tend to your waxing and sugaring needs. Layne is amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable and talks you through the entire process if you are a first timer or it has been a while. She also is very detailed and give you all of the instruction and direction you need to make sure you have proper aftercare. I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else!

My first time ever getting waxing done! I’m 24. To each there own!✌🏼I saw a promotional ad on IG for a free bikini wax! It’s summer in AZ, sweet. Everything was via text and links. The newbie wax form was informational. When I started asking concerning questions about the waiver and pre prep I felt the receptionist was coming off a tad annoyed. However, the aesthetician 💕Stephanie✨removed all traces of fear, hesitation and question regarding customer service for this establishment. She was immediately friendly and welcoming. Considering there a lot of people staying in considering the craziness going on, she was very mindful of it being my first time getting waxed and basically being pretty vulnerable. She didn’t mind chatting w/me the whole time. She checked in and asked how I was doing. I was asking her questions during the session randomly even about other services and beauty questions and she didn’t hesitate to offer answers or assistance. She was goofy, funny and unique. When I am able to routinely have this services done, I would no doubt go back to her, choose her as my weekly or monthly gal for services! She gave off good vibes of care and knowledge for her clientele! I gave 4 stars as this was my first time and considering the off vibe I got at first. ✨Stephanie✨solo gets 5 stars!

Elisha is incredible. Extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of her career, and also has great knowledge about cosmetic dermatology. She makes you feel comfortable and actually confident. Wonderful bedside manner! Elisha gets 5 stars. My next comment is about the front office staff. Texting only for appointments, cool right? You would think. It’s great when there are no problems with scheduling or the incompetence of the front office staff. They honestly seem like they are distracted, or straight up not paying attention to any sort of detail. I have honestly thought of canceling my new membership with them and I’ve only been there once! I have at least 20 text with the front office starting from Saturday to get myself in. With them changing appointments, scheduling them wrong and with another aesthetician without my prior knowledge. I’m so irritated with the front office in every aspect. Let’s see if I keep this going…

I had my first waxing experience there and couldn't be happier. I walked in early to my appointment to make sure everything was settled and they got me in early. They estimate the visit to last 1 hr for a "manzilian" it took less than 20 minutes with at the same time being informed and professionally handled. My aesthetician continued good conversation during the whole experience and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. (conversation helps with the hair removal). I will be continuing to come to this location and strongly suggest checking them out if you are a first timer like I was and if you are a male worried about the experience in any way.

Saw a few ladies before I found Sandra. Let me tell you about her. So nice so friendly and VERY knowledgeable! She gave me lots of tips and tricks to prevent in grown hairs. I wish I lived closer so I could see her again, but I found a new lady at a different location. Sugar Me Wax hires the best ladies as no matter which location (I've been to 3) I've had the same level of service and I won't change companies.

I am new to the area; so when I booked my appointment at Sugar Me Wax, I assumed I was getting a Sugar Wax, which was not the case, and the young lady I had, Dakota (who was amazing), was not able to provide this service, which meant I would need to reschedule or get a wax. I've been here twice. I traveled from south Phoenix because my first time here was a great experience. The second time not so much. They have a grace period of 4 minutes I believe. I was only 1 minute over the grace period. I get in and the receptionist said she was on the wrong location appointment page so it took her even longer to find my appointment. By the time she finds it she tries to tell me that I'm too late and I'll have to reschedule. I drove 40 minutes to get here and she suggested I come back or I can wait for over an hour in my car. She said that the aesthetician wouldn't have enough time to do my wax. She said that she wouldn't want it to be rushed and something to go wrong. I ask if there's anything we can do and she insists there isn't. Ten minutes had already passed since I've arrived. I had asked to speak to the manager that she said was in a meeting so it may take a while. As I'm waiting the aesthetician who was scheduled walks out with a client. So even though I was late I wouldn't have been seen for a while anyways. The receptionist said she spoke with the aesthetician and that she would be willing to take me. As I'm going to the back the aesthetician apologized for being late for my appointment. I couldn't believe I almost had to leave and come back for an appointment that I would have had to wait for in the first place.

I had lash extension done with Alba. I had two appointments with her, and she did great job on making sure I was comfortable and the lashes came out great. However, I have stopped going to her because of scheduling issues. I made my appointment with her for 6/30 about three weeks in advance. Even during my appointment on 6/12, she and I were talking about my holiday plan and I wanted to add some colored lashes. On 6/28, they texted me and told me that Alba wouldn't available on 6/30, and they were trying to reschedule my apartment for 7/1 or 7/6. Since it was the 4th of July weekend, I had plans to be out of town first thing on 7/1. I wasn't able to take the appointment on 7/1. Since it was such a short notice, I was unable to find another salon to get refills. As a result, I had. I choice but not getting them done. There was explanation on why she became unavailable all of sudden. It was such a disappointment that a professional salon would cancel appointments like this and they do not have any other people on staff to do lashes. Alba does good job on lashes; however, I would not recommend her if you are not flexible on your schedule.

Layne is heaven sent!!! I religiously come every 4 weeks for a Brazilian wax. She is the wax GURU!!! I have been to many places and have NOT gone back because of how terrible the technicians were. Everyone has a different pain level when they get waxed. I know mine; and I have to say that my experience was less painful at Sugar Me Wax than my usual go to waxing spot, European Wax Center. I signed up for the membership. It's $30 up front and then just $37 a month. Cancelations are free and they allow you to take a break and start back up in the membership for free. Not a better deal out there for professional waxing with a clean (and cute) location and friendly, easy to talk to workers. I get waxed by Brianna (sorry if I spelled your name wrong. I need a business card lol). Anyways, take a girl's advice and reserve a wax with her :)
