I have pretty sensitive skin and had a lot of issues with shaving like redness, Ingrown hairs, irritation, and unhealthy and uneven skin. I started out with waxing and there’s definitely a huge difference between waxing and sugaring. Waxing helped with some of the skin issues at first, but I’ll never go back to waxing or shaving after trying sugaring. Sugaring has slowed and reduced hair growth, it also lasts much longer. If you go once a month and give it about 3x, you’ll see a big change in skin health along with less prominent growth and thickness. Overall, sugaring has been life changing. If you try sugaring, it’s important to have a good after care and maintenance routine for exfoliation, etc. I like being able to schedule and modify appointments online, and the technicians here are professional and friendly. I’d recommend Christina at the Arrowhead location. She’s super friendly, precise, and efficient.

This was my first time . I was concerned about how painful it would be , so I did take 2 ibuprofen 30 min before , no numbing gel , the pain only lasted a few seconds with each application . I’m 38 weeks pregnant… So, we will start there. I knew it wasn’t going to be an easy job as mobility is limited to the further along in pregnancy you are. I felt very confident with my waxer, however, upon returning home when I had the opportunity to look and found there are several patches that were not done. Overall she was very nice and accommodated properly, I was just slightly disappointed in the pieces that were not done.

I got my first Brazilian and under arms wax in years with Kailey. She was super friendly and we started the appointment right on time. I decided to start with my pits and it was a breeze (3/10 pain)! She left them spot free. After I expressed that a competitor didn’t do quality work and left me with so much left over hair that it discouraged me from Brazilians, I really thought enduring the pain wouldn’t be worth it again and ultimately a coworker referred me. None the less, Kailey assured me that she’d just about seen and waxed it all and that even though time slots are 15 minutes that she always takes her time to ensure she gets most, if not all of the hair. In addition, she educated me on different stages of hair growth, the importance of exfoliating to prevent ingrown, and why regular up keep make Brazilians a breeze! Honestly, she left me smooth ready to slip into my new bikinis, and not to mention my boyfriend loved it! I was genuinely impressed with my visit that I signed up for the wax club they offer and already have my next appointment. (To schedule is super easy and sometimes they can get you in same day!) If you haven’t already check them out y’all! (Lastly, I gave sugar me wax a 4 star, due to another esthetician’s unprofessionalism with a different coworker I referred over, and the disappointment of service with me at my very FIRST appointment at sugar me wax. I got a brow + tint and I was at first skeptical because I haven’t had anyone touch my brows for over 3 years due to carelessness of other places) To start, she wasn’t very talkative, which kinda made me feel unwelcome and made it a bit awkward. Overall, I felt she did not take into account the shape of either of our brows and general steps to ensure brows were even. I say this in the nicest way possible, she left one brow thicker then the other for me and took out all the growth I worked to even my brows shape and she made one of my coworkers brow thinner than the other. I’ll definitely skip the brow wax and just find a thread place that is willing to take the time to measure both brows to your face and shape them to be A1. She was very rude to my coworker when she openly expressed her disappointment and she rushed her out without giving her the opportunity to put her underwear after her Brazilian wax (a service she also received a long with her brow wax), I’ve encouraged her to post her own review of her experience) Thanks 🙏

I was a little intimidated at first about it all, her, the procedure, someone seeing my lady parts... but let me tell you... it was probably the most comfortable experience ever, aside from having your hairs ripped out of the follicles and you laying spread eagle with your parts exposed. Dakota made sure she talked me through it; reminding me to breathe when I needed to. She was very kind and extremely professional! I signed up for their membership right after she was done. There was no discomfort after, and today is the second day and there is no discomfort today. I highly recommend Sugar Me Wax and Dakota!!!

OUCH. Seriously so painful and I walked away knowing I would never come back. But then two days after the soreness went away and I was pretty smooth I would reconsider going back. The only complaint is that there was still a good amount of hair left by the top of the bikini line. I was hoping I wouldn't have to shave after getting waxed but I did. Not sure if I will return but after you get over the initial pain and if all hair was removed, I think results could be really good.
