Great experience here! The location is really cute and much less clinical than some places. Theres music playing and the decor is really nice. The Brazilian waxing was basically painless (I have been waxing for a long time). Upper leg and under wax were great and very thorough as well. No reaction or redness just a few hours after the appointment!

I had a sugaring service for the first time and I really enjoyed it. It’s a little more spicy than waxing but it’s tolerable and I think it’s worth it. Anything involving less chemicals is always a plus for me, their sugar wax is made up of sugar, water and citric acid. I loved the results and I didn’t feel sore afterwards like I do with waxing. I’m definitely switching over to sugaring from now on. Great experience, thank you!

I got a full Brazilian, like usual for me, and this has been one of the least painful experiences I’ve had with waxing. I’ve been waxing for about 3yrs and this is the only place I’ve been to that does a combination of hard, soft wax and sugaring so I was really impressed with that! Will be coming back :)

I got the brazilian wax from Vanna she was amazing and so nice and for my first time she made everything so relaxing and not hurt as much as i thought. I was watching others reactions to getting a brazilian and i didn’t have that reaction with Vanna she let me know everything she was doing and how it’ll help like pressing down on the area after it was waxed so it didn’t hurt that much and when feeling uncomfortable being half naked she gave me a cloth to feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

I usually get my Brazilian waxes at a different location, but decided to switch to this location because it is now closer to where I live. The receptionist was super friendly and the stylist Kat, was ready for me as soon as I walked in. Kat was great. Very friendly and welcoming and did an excellent job. The receptionist was great at the end of my appointment. She double checked to make sure that my credit from last month’s membership bill was taken instead of me paying for it and even switched my membership payment to the next month as well so that I wouldn’t have to pay for a service that I wouldn’t receive. She booked me for my next service and even accommodated my trip that I was having as well. Overall, very pleased and excited to go back

Great friendly service! I am on vacation and couldn't get my regular session in back home. My Brazilian sugaring with Vanna took 20 minutes total. This was impressive given the fact my hair length was a lot longer than recommended for comfort on the website. It wasn't uncomfortable at all for me. However, if you're a first timer please follow their recommendations to have a comfortable experience.

My technician Alexis, always makes me feel comfortable with light and fun conversation. She makes sure the process is quick, painless and of good quality! I had to get a membership! And the great thing about the membership is you can text them to change or cancel your appointment, or request to skip a month if it’s not needed at no charge.

Went in for a Brazilian wax appt. at 4pm I was 8 minutes late due to no parking spots available. When I came in I was greeted by the receptionist and asked to wait for the esthetician. After waiting 5 minutes I went to the restroom and walked past my scheduled technician Angelique who gave out a laugh as I walked by. Very unprofessional. Once I came back at 4:23pm Angelique told me very snappily that I could not be seen because I was late and they did not have time to complete my services before the next person arrived and that I would have to wait until 5:00 because my services would run into the next persons. There is an industry standard grace period of 10-15 minutes to arrive to appointments and I had been waiting 5 minutes for her to come get me before using the restroom. Nonetheless, since I was already there and had circled the parking lot 10 times I figured 45 minutes wasn't worth leaving and coming back. As I waited 20-25 minutes, I noticed no one else was coming behind me to get services and asked the receptionist why did I have to wait until 5:00pm again. She said that the esthetician had to take her dinner break. Why didn't she just say that in the beginning instead of making up some bogus story about another client. I could have been understanding of that. I did not appreciate being lied to and served unnecessary attitude. Finally, I was called back by a young lady and she asked me to undress. I did not schedule with her nor received any indication that anyone else would be performing services. A heads up would have been nice from the front desk or the previous tech. Despite ANOTHER faux pas, she was very polite, personable, and pleasant. Kia was amazing and sold me a membership unfortunately, she was just covering for this particular location for the day. A shame because she was the only pleasant part of the entire experience. I proceeded to checkout and wanted to purchase a skincare bundle and the receptionist did not know the price for me to checkout so I could not purchase it. ??? What is actually happening? I generously tipped my technician for being the only good thing here. Overall, I did not have a great experience here and would only come back if Kia actually worked there on a regular basis. I would have also not considered a membership if they did not have multiple locations. I will not be back to Hello Sugar Arcadia

This place is awesome. I went in, never, ever, having been waxed and didn’t know what to expect. From being greeted at the door to being told what the process is everyone was super friendly and nice. My esthetician was Angelique and she’s a pro. I went in for a Brazilian wax and I glad I did. Don’t get me wrong, I was terrified but Angelique was awesome getting me comfortable. Talking to me the entire time and advising me of when to breath to ease some of the uncomfortable parts. To be perfectly honest, most of the time it’s not bad at all. There was 1 maybe 2 spot that was more sensitive but she was patient and helped eased me through the entire process. I was well taken care of an in an out quickly. She didn’t rush and did a through job. I am extremely happy with the results and the entire process. I would recommend it to anyone, especially any man, who is interested or even curious about it. I’ll admit I was scared and nervous at first and probably look terrified walking through the door but you’ve got nothing to worry about and only good things to look forward to! Highly recommend!!

And even under such intimate circumstances(lol), she always creates a comfortable, laidback but professional setting. And she’s FAST! From walk in to check out is usually about 20 minutes! I’ve tried other brand salons, and no shade, but they just haven’t compared! I will definitely keep coming back!

I have a Brazilian membership here and I like the value. I found an aesthetician here that I vibe with and I actually don’t dread getting sugared every month as much as I used to. I would give 5 stars IF they had better music. I suggest 2000s pop/r&b, todays hits, or just girl anthems from any decade. When you’re laying there trying to talk yourself through something like a Brazilian sugar you NEED songs that you know and can be distracted with or lighten the mood. It’s like going to a workout class, you want upbeat motivating and fun music. I’m sure others would agree

I discovered Hello Sugar a few months later and tried two different locations. I’m willing to drive 20-25 minutes out of my area for Nijera. Nijera is professional, friendly and gentle. I only book with Nijera because she goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional service.

The staff is friendly and the aestheticians professional. Getting in touch with a person is a different story. When you call the salon, the automated system informs you they only communicate with you via text message, and the call ends. You receive an automated message after that, and all communication is via text message moving forward. The problem is that they don't always respond promptly, and text messaging isn't always an option for everyone, nor should it be the way to communicate with paying customers (and members). I've brought this up to the management team, and I got the "we are a small business and operate on limited staff," yet there are always two receptionists in an empty waiting room. I once tried calling to inform them I would be 5 minutes late (my service only takes 10 minutes and usually block 15 minutes). I couldn't get a hold of anyone, and when I arrived, I found out the receptionist had given my appointment to the client after me because I was late 4 minutes. No one called to make sure I was still showing up, and my appointment was confirmed via the sent email reminder. Annoying!

For the price and the experience of certain aestheticians, I think you can receive better treatment somewhere else. I have super fine facial hair and found my waxing to be relatively unsuccessful after 2 attempts (I had to go back a second time after the first aesthetician literally picked up no hair; they also offered no type of discount or compensation for the inconvenience). I also feel the services are rushed, since they are kept to strict appointment times.

Besides the poor customer service the estheticians are wonderful. You really need to do better with your texting communications. This taking no calls and only communicating via text is very cumbersome. Having 2-3 different numbers texting you is very bothersome. If I'm dealing with one facility that is whom I want to deal with. Getting "Are you still there?" messages after getting one response is bothersome. Then having a price change in membership with any notification is very disturbing. You need to improve this.

Just fantastic. I think I found my go to wax rep she did an amazing job. She is the manager. I have a still healing large c section scar and she was concentrated very well and I was not hurt. I was positioned comfortably for the butt area wax and it felt good. Totally recommend Katlyn. She was gentle yet took time to make me feel #1 at my appointment. I recommend and is why I keep going back to this place. Tip: take 2 Tylenol an hour before your Brazilian wax for less pain.
