This place is fantastic! Honestly, one of my best experiences waxing - Kolpona (Holpona?) was so caring and sweet, and super quick! I was in and out in about 10 mins which I look for when I am waxing! Will definitely be going back for my waxing needs :)

I got the Brazilian of course. So I called ahead of time to see if I needed and appointment like the other places. and I didn’t they accepted my walk-in.When I got there it was very clean and tidy , there was no double dipping in the pot. Which I definitely look out for. They put the wax in a personal cup. She was very quick and thorough when she went back for stray hair. The pricing was very affordable for the service. Only thing is they used soft wax but she let me know she’ll be getting hard wax next week, Hopefully. But I’m used to waxing so it didn’t bother me much as long as you do it fast and keep talking to me 😂 and Sandy worked on me , She was amazing and very kind 🥰 I found my new waxing spot

They're so intricate when it comes to waxing and so fast. I've been coming here for the last year and every time they don't fail to disappoint. They even thread after your Brazilian for the tiny hairs the wax misses. No appointments needed and you're literally in and out! Amazing customer service. I definitely recommend

This is honestly one of the best places to go if you need a wax . I am extremely sensitive and waxes are usually painful for me . But Meenu , is phenomenal and made my experience great . I noticed BWS already had great reviews so I felt a little confident walking in already but today was I blown away! They really are the real deal here. Sweetie was such a professional, so warm, so knowledgeable and genuinely concerned with the health of my skin. She really wanted me to relax and She said to me you're in great hands and I just laid back and let her treat me, consult me on what was actually needed for the day (I thought I needed something that was totally unnecessary for my skin), what I was doing wrong in the past with my facial treatments & skin/facial hair removal methods and she also taught me about aftercare and how often to come in for routine care as well. I received a Diamond Facial & did some eyebrow & facial hair removal with thread & wax. Let's just say she transformed my face. After the facial hair removal & diamond facial I looked somewhat like a renewed person and received an immediate boost in confidence at the same time. Thank you Sweetie. See you soon!! Just came back from my sensitive Brazilian wax and acne facial! I love them, both Meenu and Sweti (excuse the spelling). They were amazing! Sweti gave me the acne facial, Meenu gave me the microdermabrasion and I felt like I was in heaven. I also had a Brazilian wax for the FIRST time, that was an intense experience but Sweti made it better for me. She was humorous and assured me that everything will be okay in her hands. I got my first Brazilian wax by Sami a little over two months ago. It felt amazing and lasted forever (compared too shaving). During my first time, Sami talked me through it and was very patient with me (imagine how much I jumped and moved since it was my first time). She asked me if it was ok for her to rub and talked to me through the entire service. Anyway, I came back two months later (a few days ago) & though it still hurt on some places she still talked to me and we laughed as she was waxing. Very pleasurable experience. Though it hurts & I swear that I won’t come back, Sami makes me come back every time!! And the wait is never long!

Meenu is the best!!! I will follow her wherever she goes. I will not let anyone else wax me. She was at blooming brows across the street, but now she has her own place. It’s beautiful, clean and they have great customer service. Rooms are private and she never double dips. She also offers organic waxing options now for sensitive skin like mines. She is training her staff to ensure they all deliver the same level of service that she does. A great addition to Fulton st.

Brazilian, Straight to the point. 12 minutes in & out. Big girls, you'll be fine (no one ever specifies this in reviews, I've been searching). Now.... It's been years since I waxed so idk if I'm sensitive or she just had NO mercy but TMI for some.... There was some blood in sensitive areas when I got home, but a gentle shower helped and the next morning was like no damage done at all. I'm happy with the end result, very smooth. I wanted to give 5 stars but nobody wants to leave a wax with skin missing😩. I'll be back lol.

My daughter goes here religiously and loves Meenu. I would have given 5 stars however, in the midst of covid, I feel like they could do better in regards to cleanliness. They don't wear mask at all and they do not wash their hands after every customer. Hand sanitizer is not enough and they only use that it you ask them to wash their hands. They also don't sanitize the chair after each customer. My Daughter now feels uncomfortable and will not be returning because of this. Probably after covid but she has visited other places that have great practices in regards to keeping customers safe. You can do better Meenu

My Experience was wonderful 🤗🤗I got in fast and got out even faster, and they did great work 🥳🥳Sami was my waxer and she did an amazing job, she explained everything to me make sure I knew what the wax did. I got the golden facial and I really enjoyed my experience, the products were all natural and Meenu knew a lot about what my skin needed and what products would be best for me. I wanted to give an honest review about the service I received. It has been week over a week and my face is on its way back to normal. Love it here! I made an appointment and Meenu gave me my brazillian. I went with the sugaring since my skin is sensitive and it doesn’t leave red bumps on me. Meenu was fast and finished with threading to get all the hair and I felt so comfortable through it all. Definitely recommend! And such good prices!!

Meenu is amazing, and makes her own sugar wax that leaves my skin so smooth and not irritated, other than the normal waxing irritation! After searching google maps & checking reviews I came across this place & I called for pricing accuracy (even though there’s a picture on the service list posted) I was quoted $30 for full legs $20-$40 for Brazilian & $10 for armpits cool I grabbed $80 (4 $20s) threw in my fanny pack that already had a few bills ($10 $5 $1x4 = $19) in it which I was going to use for tip. Got in my Uber arrived greeted everyone said I called earlier xyz I sit for a few seconds before she called me into the room & began waxing. She asked if I wanted to do my stomach ($5; new total shouldn’t be more than $85) I said sure, when I turned around she then asked if I wanted to do my full butt since I’m doing my legs so it can be even, I didn’t ask the price just said sure. I’m texting my sister like “we found a new wax lady, she’s really thorough it’s still painful but it’s a wax” ... wax is done I’m cleaning off any residue & I notice a few tiny spots were missed but it’s not a big deal. Go out to pay (money on the glass/desk) she tells me my total is $105 more than I planned to spend but what can I do the service is done. I asked her did she have Zelle then remembered I had my card so I gave her my card & gave her the $10 as a tip. She then said we should spilt it 50/50 (which would be $52.50) because it’ll take out too much taxes if she charges my card fully, no problem ma’am (money is still on the glass, at this point my phone rings) so now I’m on the phone she’s having problems with her square just when I was about to say okay let me just zelle the $105 she figures it out but only charged my card $41.80 so she was only supposed to get $63.20 instead she takes the entire $89 off the glass counts it & I’m thinking she’ll put the extra $25 back on the glass but she puts in her draw I’m looking at her confused af because I’m not a mathematician but I know at this point she has way over $105 & that ain’t right. Me: ma’am did you not just charge my card? why are taking everything when you just said you’re spitting it 50/50? Her: yes, it’s $13 extra Me: *super confused trying to remain calm* regardless if it’s just $13 which it’s definitely isn’t you don’t just take it I gave you a tip already Her: no you didn’t Me: okay so how much money did you just pick up? put back all the money I had, let’s count it. Her: I don’t want any problems *pulls out the $10 & 4 singles gives it to me* Me: this still isn’t my correct change, I had 4 $20s a $10 a $5 & 4 $1s .. she refused to put the money back on the glass but I was so over it so I just left paying $126.80 in total (an extra $21.80). I can’t stand people who help themselves to your change/money, that’s very selfish & a bit greedy. I already spent more than I was quoted & planned for. Tipping isn’t an obligation it’s a form of gratitude. If I am to ever go back to that place I will ask for full pricing up front & pay ahead of the service because the wax experience outside of that issue was better than the 5 or 6 others I’ve had. Definitely the priciest as well, the ppl across the street are cheaper but they burnt me twice, are very aggressive, leave a lot of hairs & wax on you.
